Ford Everest owner from Dubai. Here we have the 2.3 litre turbo petrol version. Produces just under 300hp. Driven cross country, over rocks, muddy trails, through the desert and must say it's been a joy. I have not done any modifications on it. Car feels solid, and composed. Wheh you're inside the car you feel well insulated and safe. As always the driver involvement is great. Unlike the fortuner which feels sluggish, heavy and old. American and European cars feel more driver focused than Japanese or Korean cars.
Trust Ford for shooting their own foot. They shouldn't have exited at first place. Ever increasing Fortuner price meant there was always a place for this competent SUV.
They just can't bear looses of hundreds of crores and wait for years just to sell one suv in India! A lot goes into running such a huge organisation and very easy to give your vedict out of nowhere

Renault case is very similar. They got a winner in Duster but never updated it properly. Lost market to Creta without even competing.
Ever increasing price of fortuner,, what do think a brand who left india and increases the price on parts during maintenance will be able recover it's brand value again in india, no matter what Ford endeavour will never succeed in india market.
The endeavour was always called the Everest globally, I found it interesting they changed it coming to India (especially considering the connection we’d have to the Everest name)
No wonder you find very less Aspires and Figos out for sale in used car market. Very few who opt out for more premium cars sell them. I got myself figo16 petrol and in love with it. Trust me, only the ford owners understand it well.
Man this looks soo good. Being an EcoSport owner this feels like a dream upgrade. But hopes of owning it are low since it'll be a CBU and the pricing will be premium for sure. But what a lovely looking SUV 🥹
People are tirelessly waiting for Ford's vehicles to be launched in India. They've realised the value of them after their exit. Pricing should be aggressive like around 30-40 lacs range...if it happens then Fortuner has to pack its bags. Pricing is key since this is not a mass volume segment car.
Drove a diesel Ecosport for a decade on all sorts of highways on plains, small busy lanes of Delhi NCR, mountain roads and absolutely loved it to bits! Ford Endeavor was always going to be the upgrade before they decided to exit :( Looking forward to Everest launching in India
Got A 19 Ford Freestyle petrol. Absolutely love the car. Only true enthusiasts know how good ford was. Clocked around 4k on that little beast, no regrets at all. Please Ford you need to make a comeback!! 🗿
Have a endeavour myself 2.2 at got it at 29 lacs in 2017 during gst regime when all car taxes were almost similar,just love it n in no mood to sell it not spent a rupee on repair just changed tyres and battery with regular servicing.ford builds cars so ruggedly n quality is just top notch
Being a Ford card owner, I can say I'm a proud owner of Ford car. Not after watching this video. In fact after driving Ford's car for years, What an experience. Its hard to find any new car equvilant to my car. And I feel poor for those who never drove the Ford's car and bought any regular car instead. We lost the wonderful cars from a wonderful company and it's great after sales service.

Would certainly buy it if it comes to India, Ford cars have great driving dynamics, with solid build, solid reliability and at a good price point, had a Ford Fiesta Sxi 1.6 in 07-10, just loved it, later in 2014 I brought a BMW 530D, and my wife often remarked that this Bmw drives like our old Ford Fiesta, really drivewise it was a budget BMW. Felt bad for them when they left India, there may have been many contributing factors for this, the most important being not making cars which we Indians buy. Actually I think we don't want to buy cars that drive well.
I Personally feel Ford Should have never left the Indian Market, Keeping in mind that it's an ever growing market. Simplifying the Model portfolio would have just done enough to limit the damage while looking for a recovery strategy. Knowing their Sells capacity, Investing on a new Plant that to of the size of the Sanand plant was always gonna backfire and it did. Rather than investing on a new plant it would have been better if they had invested in expanding the sales and service and in the development of new models for India. Nonetheless excited for Ford's Return cause they really deserve to be in India!

But I will be raising it by two inches and putting a new set of wheels as I do go offroad and want the piece of mind that extra clearance and bigger wheels will give me.

Autocar - you guys actually don’t do justice to reviews. In case of new Camry you didn’t mention the upright dash, less visibility of the front, plus while reversing though it has cameras, however the gap between the rear head rest and glass for visibility is very less. The head rest don’t move front and back. Etc. please do an honest and true reviews. Not everything is good good.

How one could miss paddle shifters, no point of having that on a 10 speed gear, it is going to be confusing while operating through paddle shifters. A 6 speed gear with paddles is acceptable.
A big naturally aspirated engine with a manual transmission is what ensures longevity and maintenance-free operation. Hope to see all the variations at the launch!
And who will buy a Endeavour for a price tag of around ₹1 cr. Govt regulations and norms will hike the price. Fortuner already has v6 models but we don’t get it in india. If that happens endeavour will compete with the likes of x5, gle, q7, and defender😅
I owned endeavour but as Ford left I had to face so much service issues and had to sell it because of parts issues as all was overpriced there is no guarantee that Ford can keeps its commitment (once a bhaguda will always be a bhaguda)

2.0 biturbo is going to be a maintenance nightmare. Too much being pulled out from too small a unit. The automatic gearbox having to do the frantic gear changes to keep it in the powerband.
and it'll probably be released in the same price range of Fortuner. Endeavor used to cost around 30-35 lakhs before. Now, it'll probably cost 45 lakhs base.
Been worked for Ford for 8yrs, can commit their quality & design are at par with US & EU. These Japanese or Indian cars can't even close to their powerful yet effortless driving dynamics. They give you the feeling of that American Muscle and Gigantic vehicles...A large life worth living.

I have few friends from America and they recommended me to upgrade to ford 3.5l ecoboost crate with keeping the turbos ,just waiting for it launch even canceled my booking for fortuner.
i had to sell my 4 years old ford freestyle cause of getting parts issue in the northeast. i loved the car n it's roughness. n have now to settle for Kia Sonet. i still miss driving that ford built car.
In my opinion, they should make a comeback with escape (ecosport's successor) if they want to recover past losses. I think people started to realise ecosport's true USP after its exit. They should also launch global models and not just any outdated cars like they did before. Also price them competitively so they can sustain with some consistent sales. India believes in giving second chances and if Ford is able to bring solid cars back then people will definitely welcome it.
Not a big fan of SUV's and hate the "SUV's" like creta, brezza etc but some SUV's are just killer like this one here or the pajero. Gives an amazing feeling even when you look at them
Ford has good cars, but unfortunately their outlook towards India was not realistic. I owned the Josh machine and it was a great car, the Figo was wonderful, the Mondeo was amazing, but they seemed to have lost focus, i still have the EcoSport with all its issues with the automatic gearbox. I fail to understand why they left India. It was a bad decision they need a more India focused management which launches car for the youth market of India at the right prices. The Mustang was a loosely thought launch, get the right management and they can really compete!
Ford is Ford. Hope it comes back with not just electric but also few hybrid and petrol vehicles. Ford is already working on launching everest in India.
Ah, the previous generation Ford Endeavor spoiled me with its active noise cancellation-a feature so premium, it made us feel like we were driving in a soundproof bubble. Sadly, this new model seems to have removed it. And while the 2-liter engine is doing its best, it’s like comparing a sprinter to a marathon runner-the 3.2-liter engine from the past could run circles around it.

we own an aspire dct, supreme handling but lesser robust build from the previous gen figo tbh + the suspension is fairly stiffer

Not a big fan of SUV's and hate the "SUV's" like creta, brezza etc but some SUV's are just killer like this one here or the pajero. Gives an amazing feeling even when you look at them

Ford has good cars, but unfortunately their outlook towards India was not realistic. I owned the Josh machine and it was a great car, the Figo was wonderful, the Mondeo was amazing, but they seemed to have lost focus, i still have the EcoSport with all its issues with the automatic gearbox. I fail to understand why they left India. It was a bad decision they need a more India focused management which launches car for the youth market of India at the right prices. The Mustang was a loosely thought launch, get the right management and they can really compete!

Ah, the previous generation Ford Endeavor spoiled me with its active noise cancellation-a feature so premium, it made us feel like we were driving in a soundproof bubble. Sadly, this new model seems to have removed it. And while the 2-liter engine is doing its best, it’s like comparing a sprinter to a marathon runner-the 3.2-liter engine from the past could run circles around it.
The new engine makes more power and torque but yeah the older one was a 5 cyl which makes it all the more special.
Oh God pls.. For heavens sake pls bring back Ford to India. And Ford, please for the love of God, pls don't screw it up this time 🙏🙏🙏
