If you want to upgrade it to be lossless, use mud instead of grass. You can put hoppers beneath it. Because mud isn't a full block, items will be picked up through it. As an added bonus, put the water stream the other side - under the stone bricks - and just rely on the hoppers instead. This is suggested more as an upgrade though, when you have the resources.
Just built this ima see if it works,if it does its a nice and easy design Update* It worked I put my growth speed a little higher BC I'm inpatient but it works very well
Don’t build this farm. It’s not effective. Search up kelp tick farm for bedrock. Have the kelp from that go into composers which then hoppers lead to a dispenser which is on a red stone clock with a sugar cane with a piston and observer there.
@@Drwillzbthere is a way when you build it up build a little line under the blocks thats under the pistons make sure it is a 8 block hollow line behind where you put the sugar cane and put water there and it should work, it did for me.
@@bmx28kenilworth are you observers facing forward i.e facing sugarcane and did u power it right? also i did this farm in my world i recommend not to build it for 4 in row since the water doesn't hydrate sugarcane equally so they grow irregularly and 1 always doesn't fall into water so i only get 3 sugarcane drops.
@@cakewalk4602 I actually had no issues! I didn’t change anything other than the flow of water I believe and it worked just fine for me, so I’m not sure what the problem may have been for OP
@@stefaniegray same just built it. I messed up orignally by putting the sugar can blocks in front of window by mistake instead of pistons. maybe they goofed the same way.

You can also use waterlogged leaves for the water
Won't work on bedrock
Bro I have literally made all of your farms in my survival world ❤
How is it not crashing every second
This model wouldn't work for me, the pistons would go off but the sugarcane wouldn't fall forward into the water stream
Use mud and put hoppers below it to funnel to a chest
Or you could use a minecart with hopper
And to get mud get a water bottle and click a grass block@@Neoln
Put in glass infront
Time to feed my MENDING VILLAGER
I would recommend put mud blocks cause its not a full block with the sugar cane and put hoppers on the bottom
Bro has to be stalking me I made a survival world and and every farm I need he literally makes a vid on it the next day😂
Thsm so much bro
Yoo Thanks Bruv !! 💯
No problem 👍

Thanks bro, just made it in my new world!
Don't wanna sound like a bot, but this is literally the weirdest place to find a fellow Tyler fan.
@@andrewb5936 😭😭😭 Tyler goated
When i try to expand the farm to make it taller the sugarcane isn't able to place because there is no water what should i do?

Nice work keep it up ❤️ love from India 🇮🇳❤️
Could you do this exact same thing, but with bamboo?
yep
Bro i build and so cool thanks bro
So I made the farm, and I placed it all in the way you did, the observers see the sugar cane, but the pistons aren't activating. Halp?
yh thats what i did and the observers dont activate the pistons
@typicalcat1857 I figured out it was the blocks I had the redstone on. It doesnt transmit on glass.
@@cannabisninjakitty2283 my redstone is on cobblestone and it still doesnt work i have to manually activate it with a redstone torch
@@typicalcat1857 hmm, I'm not too sure what your issue might be then. I used dirt for mine, and the restone dust was fine
For me the sugar cane wouldn’t grow past to the observers
Tysm dude now I can get rich 🤑
How musch suger a hour
bedroc?
Don’t do this 7 sugar cane per hour
This farm hardly works on a bedrock realm
I just built it before reading the comments 😭do you think it will work if i make adjustments to it?

My sugar cane isn’t growing can anyone help.
it takes time like real plants

This farm does not work in bedrock, I tried it
Why
just built it in bedrock, works perfectly
