not gonna lie thank u ibuilt this a while ago and it stopped working, so i came back and read this comment and found like 13 iron golems under the water
Quick tip if anyone is trying this and having a hard time with it: my golums weren't consistently spawning. I went down to the bottom layer and broke all of the cobblestone preventing the villagers from sleeping in their beds. All of the fletching stations were moved down one square so they could still reach them, and then I built a double layered ceiling over them where the water flows to protect them from drowning. A key detail to remember is that all of the villagers had their prefessions before I broke the blocks allowing them to sleep in their beds. There were all 20, full grown adult fletcher villagers in the pit before they could access their beds. Everything else in your tutorial I followed your exact instructions. I don't know if anyone else has this issue but it would be cool to know y'all's experience. Happy craftin and thanks for the video :)
I was going to comment asking this, I tested the spawn of the iron golems on bedrock and they only spawned when the villagers had access of both bed and the fletching table
Can u make this farm by bringing 20 villagers? Rather than placing 2 than making 20 of them....coz I have villager breeding farm it's more easy for me to bring them to iron farm so will it work?
@maxi___king4682 you can use carrots and potatos too but it seems to take more. Also they can only do it a certain amount of times a day sometimes its better to wait till the next day and see if they do it

it will work if you build another farm 18blocks away and increase your simulation chunks so if you are far the farm will still spawn golems

You can but you have to do it in a special way called stacking. It is a whole process by itself
It works thank u! Currently watching tv while i afk iron
FINALLY, TANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS ACTUALLY WORK
anyone else notice the fletching table pattern at 1:56 hehe
oooohhhhh three likes...thanks guys :)
Is it necessary or...? I feel a bit triggered LMAO
@@xxrandom_doodxx lol
10/10 in less than 2 hours of afking I got more that 3 stacks of iron this saved me a couple mining trips. I also love that I get some pet cats! If I don’t tame them they can also help keep creepers away witch is useful
Edit: if you want, there’s a video of me decorating it on my channel. You can go check it out!
Where do you afk for the farm
@@JH_biking Well I just made a little oak wood box with a door! I made it right next to the farm. It doesn’t change any spawn rates of the golems and it is really easy way not to die while you afk!
@@InTheSaddle.7 thanks
No problem!
0:09 i quite don't get it,is it "at least 150 blocks" "away"? of the "village"?
Edit: Also does it work when you build it in the sky?
The farm needs 150 blocks away from any villagers (other than the ones in the farm). For example if a village is at x 150 then a villager can wander near the village, so make your farm at x 400. Yes it does work in the sky.
@@FalconXGamethank you!
You can have it at a village as long as all the beds and work stations are picked up.
It's because villages are very big on bedrock. Any villager that is within 96 blocks can be part of the iron farm village and may break it
Wow it's so easy and awesome thank you
This worked on my first try! Getting enough villagers to spawn took a while but it was worth it in the end
Do the iron farm needs to be in render for it to work?
yep
No, it needs to be within activation range, which is 64 blocks by default
Do you have to stay close to it or can you just leave it
You need to stay close
THIS IS THE WORST AND TIME WASTING IRON FARM. IMAGINE U DON'T KNOW THERE IS A VERY BIG OPEN MINE AND IN THE LAST HE WILL SAY (cove the mine with slabs then it will work) AND AFTER THAT IT STILL DIDN'T WORK AFTER WASTING HOURS IN THIS
Same
calm down. the main objective is to show that u shouldnt even be building next to a cave, rather if there is a cave, just covering it up would be better
Coulda just built up and did it 25 blocks in the sky, not hard
thanks it works perfectly and now i have alot of iron stacks

can to i make this farm in air to prevent golem spawning in caves.
U should be able to
yo i made mine in water does that matter
How do the villagers sleep? The beds are under a block so they aren’t sleeping for me
Thats the point no need to sleep
If you build the farm at a snow biome (like me) place glow stone or a light source to make the water melting when he turns into ice
This is super useful , it works perfectly
Hii mine doesn't spawn any iron golem I'm on bedrock and there are no caves under pls help and it only spawn cats
I’m in the same boat let me know if you find solution
@@brandonbishop1565 actually I might have if you put a cat in the villagers place then let them sleep you might have to wait for 1 day in Minecraft before they start spawning iron golems
Hello, I am planning to build this in our new world. I'm at least 150 blocks away from the nearest village. Would go steal the villagers there too.
We have already built some beds in our base. And also work tables. If I remove all the beds and work tables and then get the villagers, everything should work out, right? And if it works then everyone can set up their beds again
? We are already 7 people on our realm. :)
I don't think so, I think you should leave everything in its place and not remove anything
Because the Iron Golems respawn when the villagers sleep on the beds, but as for the workbenches, I don’t know
If ur on Xbox lemme join I'm playin rn
I need to know if this works I already built this in a village and there’s iron golems spawing elsewhere even thought I broke the beds and stuff any ideas his to fix.

Me and my friend have been playin for the past 4 hours and we tried two farms and thank God this one worked. Thank you so much!!! ❤❤❤❤
I made two separate levels of villagers. Each level had 10 villagers, 10 workstations and 10 beds. Villagers must have access to work and sleep to consistently spawn golems. Everything else the same, very nice design.
Bro, can you make an effective gunpowder farming machine?
The og mob farm produces a fair amount of gunpowder, good enough for one player, a dedicated creeper farm is very complex to make.
Nice work it work i love your work keep it up thanks fore helping the minecraft comuntity
If Iron golems Not SPAWN then break beds but not middle 2 blocks and then place beds to side of villagers afterthis its WORKS!
This is so compact and works thanks!!!
Thanks, that was my first farm i made
Does it exactly have to be 150 blocks away?
No, it just has to be further
Ty
Why do you need to build this 150 blocks away from a village?
because then that iron golem would spawn in that village and not the farm
@@JakubSimovic thats also not a bad idea, we can make the iron golems die at the village, while also having villagers at the farm. but that just destroys the whole point anyway
@OinkOink can u build it in the sky with the same dimensions to reduce spawning or not. Love teh video btw!❤
Same I wanna know too
Yes infact, building it in the sky would remove the need to spawnproof the surrounding too
Golems can spawn in a 17x17 area around one of the beds. That is 289 spawning spots. This iron farm has a 5x5 spawning platform which is only 25 spots. And since golems.cant spawn on the north and the west sides, that leaves only a 4x4 area for.them to spawn which is 16 spots. 16 out of 289 is only 5.5%. the iron farm is failing to spawn golems most of the time. Almost 95% of the spawn attempts are getting wasted/failing,.which makes this one of the worst iron farms possible. Why would you go with a 5% efficient iron farm when you can go with something closer to 100% efficient iron farm
@@raymondstheawesome iron golems dont spawn in the floor unless theres a hole. if the top of the farm is the only place for them to spawn then they will spawn there
I’ve been using this farm for a while now, and so far it’s the best one I have ever built. It’s also very efficient.
Thank you very much, this farm is the only one that works for me, thumb up
gotta extend the grass paths to 7 rather than 5
what if I just path everything new them will it work?

Guys is it ok of I add zombies?
Idk but u can I think
Is it supposed to be super slow?
temporary with village place and chunk render

I finished this today, and I discovered that you don’t need 20 villagers. I had about 19, then killed 2 nitwits, and without even breeding more villagers, I heard an iron golem dying, and they spawn at a fair rate, too! Thanks for the tutorial!
