Im not much a crosspoint guy myself but understand the basic concept. How do you handle this with lets say 10 panels, 10 zones and 10 sources. Any TP can control any zone then any source.
I'd use 10 control crosspoints, one equipment crosspoint for each source (make each ecross ID represent which zone the source is in), and one connector for each controller. You'll break your control presets down by deciding if you want the controllers to control separate sources from separate zones simultaneously, or if you just want your controller to control a single zone at a time.
They are special Symbols, you will need to go to Options > Preferences > Program Editing, and choose the Special Symbol Set, then restart SIMPL. The crosspoint routing symbols will show up under Logic Symbols > Signal Routing category.
Is this the best way to handle multiroom audio in a residential application? Im also pretty new, just finished my 101 last week. Also do you have any plans to do videos on Crestron Studio?
Congrats on finishing P101! I don't know if there's really a 'best way' to do things, but it certainly makes aspects of multizone audio and video much easier. The big benefit is that it's easy to build on (add more zones) if you set up your signal names and logic well. We don't have any plans on making Studio videos right now, but there are some pretty good tutorials out there. Check out Ale4ko's channel: ruclips.net/channel/UCf5HN6JJuHPZTbUh5Vg3J-A He has a couple of videos on how to work with Smart Graphics and Themes inside of Studio.
Why did you use Disconnect From Controller (DiscFromC) input while you were actually disconnecting Equipment from it?

I cant find the "signal routing" symbols in my SIMPL installation, is there a way to download them?
