Yeah, the same situation in Poland with regular universities. A lot of people attend them just to get a degree but they don't teach you anything unless you want to learn it by yourself. I know it improves search skills and you can meet a lot of new amazing people but it's the worst possible way to acquire new information.

Jesus, your tutorials are extraordinary. An amazing display of thought process that is a must-have for PS proficiency. Newcomers usually need basic stuff and fast results, otherwise, it gets discouraging if it is too complicated. Your channel has the basic, intermediate, and advanced material. Sure, I can reproduce what you just did mechanically, but in these advanced videos (at least for me), you demonstrate the true power of Photoshop and give me the incentive to carry on learning. Anyone can change the color of an object on a white background, but when I come back to some of your videos that seemed advanced to me until some time ago, I say to myself: "I fully understand that now" - it's priceless. Thank you for being a great teacher and helping me to understand the meaning of the process and not solely mechanically learn the tools.

The thing I like about your tutorials is not just the subject at hand, but all the individual tips and techniques that are used to create the end result. I may never have the need to create a see through bottle, but will certainly have use for all the tools used to accomplish it. Thank you.

I think that the dislikes must be from competitors that do not like to see someone passing them by in skills ……………....…….

I am a complete beginner at photoshop, but I needed to get rid of a background on a glass jar for work (I do social media posts), and I had no clue how to do it. I watched this video once, beforehand, and then again pausing it while I did the steps, and I did it! After just 2 watches, with no formal training on photoshop! I still had to play around with it to make it look realistic: it's a clear mason jar that is supposed to be a light fixture. I ended up duplicating the group to add some depth to it and make the inscription on the jar more visible. I then added a brightness layer in the bottom group, and I added a Bevel/Emboss effect to the top group. I also added a drop shadow effect to the bottom group to make it pop from the background. I also did the lid of the jar as a separate layer so that I could keep the original color, (it wasn't looking right with the adjustments I made to the glass). THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS INCREDIBLY HELPFUL VIDEO!!!!!!!!!

@@xNothing2Lose the video and demonstration is well made, i use this techniques i know about them, i appreciate someone talking them and doing a step by step video, but these are not 100euros worth. BUT, in different countries this money means different things. Some people even have less than 100 euros as a salary. That comment slams those people. Let's just learn what we can learn and not brag about money, or how 100 euros for one is like 1 euro for someone else. :) That's all I'm saying, let's respect everyone.

It’s always interesting to see that “you’ve copied” is always from someone fiercely supporting PixImperfect. Nobody else, none of the other channels that have existed since well before PixImperfect came on the scene. Is every single one of his tutorials completely original? Does he own copyright on these techniques? Frequency Separation for example? How come so many of the techniques on his channel have existed on other channels that started way before he ever started? RUclips is a global platform for training, people like to watch different instructors and different styles. Is PixImperfect contacted by Adobe asking what new features should be in the next version of Photoshop so that he can have exclusivity on the tutorials? In fact, has he ever produced direct training material directly for Adobe? I find it disturbing that there are indeed ‘people’ who exist on social platforms who only ever support PixImperfect or attack others with a similar sized following who provide free content for people to learn from. There are trainers on RUclips that have been providing content since before PixImperfect was old enough to tie his shoelaces and before Jesus created his own channel. I watch many instructors and I also create content based on new techniques I find through training channels online. This blind defending of one certain person makes it feel like some people are been asked to attack certain instructors or that even fake accounts are created to do so. And what’s Jesus supposed to do, close his channel because someone else is providing similar content? PixImperfect, as many others, have room in this tutorial world, but it's not exclusive. You’d be amazed who else at a higher level is seeing this pattern and these comments. Each one on social media channels is being saved now and some interesting info is coming to light. So let’s all get in and learn from one another and play nice, eh 😀.......
