I've been using Photoshop for around 16 years now and yet watching this video, I have still learned a hell of a lot more than I knew before. Great work!!!
I am a graphic designer, and usually, I work with films to create movie posters and let me tell you, you saved me a lot of time and effort. You have no idea how helpful this tutorial has been. Thank you so much.
You explain things in a slow way so it is easy to understand. It feels like you are talking directly to me instead of talking at a group of experts. It is appreciated!
I have come back to this video multiple times to fix my composites. This is by far the most helpful video I’ve found yet, it make it so much easier to do and it looks much more natural. Thanks so much!!
Dude. One of the best tutorials on making a montage I’ve ever watched. I’ve learnt so much from this one video alone.... I especially liked the blend if for the hair near the end, I’ve never seen that technique used before. Previously, I would have masked the hair out best I could before even starting the colour match etc - this will save me hours in the long run. Thank you! Jesus, you are superb!
here's several things about which functions of Photoshop to learn first The selection feature Removal of unwanted objects Layers (I discovered about these and more from Trevs Photo Blueprint site )
For my photoshop class we have to photoshop an image of ourself into a famous historical photo and I can't begin to tell you how helpful this video was for my project! Thank you!
I’ve never watched your lessons because they always seemed too advanced for me, but I’m glad I watched this one. I learned so much. Good job teaching an old dog some new tricks.

I've been using photoshop for over 10 years and seen over a hundred Photoshop tutorials on RUclips. Yours is by far the best! Keep it up! I love your tutorials!
There are hundreds of Photoshop Tutorials Channels out there but this is easily the best one that I have found. You, sir really how to teach in such a way that it's easy to understand. Thanks a lot for this. I really learned something new from this. 👍
Ha! I look at the comments and everyone else has already said what I was gonna say. I've been in graphics for 25+ years and I have not seen a better instructor. This was amazingly good and it's bookmarked. I really can't express how good you are at this.
First time watching your tutorials and love the teaching style. Appreciate that you explain WHY you're making the choices you're making and what each element of a setting does (like with the luminosity sliders) instead of just giving a number to set a setting to like most videos do. I feel like I actually learned how to do a composite with any image rather than how to do a composite on the sample images in the video. Looking forward to watching your other vids.
Thank you so much, for in-depth explanation of why we do what. This is thankfully different from those who talk like talking to kids, explaining every single obvious thing.

very clear way of explanation! I like that you care sooo much about the tiny details and you are telling us about them. I'm still a beginner, but, I have learned a lot. Thank you sooooo much! one of the best teachers👍👍👍👏👏👏
Like all your others, I love this tutorial. The part about perspective and vanishing point, and horizon line is awesome! Brings me back to Architecture school days! One added tip... Whenever you're looking at a scene, the vanishing point/ horizon is at the eye level of whomever created the image. If that person was standing on the ground, the horizon will be 4.5-5 feet above the ground (you can estimate based on known sizes of objects). I the person was standing on a 10' ladder, looking straight ahead, the horizon would be up there!
Thanks Jesus - I have been a photographer for 40 years and using PS for about 20 - this is probably the best and most information rich tutorial I have used to date - relevant and practical, I have already put it to good use in my work. Thank you.
Exceptional tutorial, Jesus. The hidden gem for me was the explanation of the Levels adjustment. I used to just slide sliders to see what happens, but now I understand it on an intellectual level (no pun intended) 8)
This is the best compositing tutorial I've ever come across. You've considered all the variables that make it more realistic and explained it in an easy to understand way. Thank you!
It is impossible NOT to learn something from your tutorials. This time for me, to use the smart object function to make adjustments. That is really smart...….
Oh my God - Thank you! I've watched about 20 PS tutorials supposedly for beginners, but this is one of the few that actually walks you through every step and explains the functions of the tools. I found this incredibly helpful.
You are a great instructor. As a beginner, I often get lost on some of the more advanced methods (hair corrections for example and advance masking techniques) but I realize that I will need to watch your videos multiple times. I like how you repeatedly tell the audience what you are doing as you are doing it. Also it is helpful how you mention the key shortcuts and they are displayed on the screen. I am learning many new methods from your tutorials. Thank you.
As a designer and a daily adobe suite user, i found your tutorials AMAZING and well explained. Really Good job you made me speed up my workflow A LOT!!!!!
