I'm getting into photo editing and this man is absolutely God-sent. The fact he can tell you the hotkeys for both PC and MAC is wonderful and he literally goes through every single keystroke that he's doing to get the results. Absolutely wonderful!
Wow, Jesse. You are blowing it away! I am gonna spend some time practicing this. That medical thing you had must have sparked that creativity to new highs, man. Thanks.
Have been missing you for a long time. Checked your insta and yt channel couple of times but couldn't see where you were.. was worried if you where sick or something. Nvm great tut.. Edit: Not a great tut. Mind blowing one. I commented without watching it. The path blur is totally new. The shift and drag in group is completely new. One of the best tuts i ever saw on your channel.❤️ Great bang after the break.
Great to have this information, but I'd really like to see this done with a busy background. Generally, you only get a photo like this created in a studio. For practical purposes, you would have to set up this type of image. You wouldn't always have the option to put a white background behind a bottle, or a wine glass before shooting. Can I assume a bottle or wine glass with a busy background would not be a good candidate for this procedure?
AWESOME TUTORIAL!!!! transparent items such as glass or water are super hard to work with… reflections, transparency and refractive light. How do you get rid of more of the highlights around the top of the bottle where the label is?
Thank you, HowieD1975! You could either clone or use the Spot Healing Brush Tool. Or you could darken it with an adjustment layer and mask it so that it only affects the bright areas.
Thank you for the video! You are great! Maybe as a suggestion, next time you can put the resources for download so that we can make it in the same time as you?
Hello Jésus, first of all I'd like to thank you for all the free tutorial available on your channel. These are very good and well explained techniques that helped me a lot! I have a problem I'm struggling with and can't seem to find a solution.. When I finish a photo manipulation, I export it on my computer and when I transfer it on my phone (Huawei), the picture is not the same. The colors are awful. How can I make it that the picture on my computer is exactly the same on my phone? Thanks a lot!
Man u r brilliant 👏👌 i love the way u simplify the things ❤ much appreciate .. i think you just forgot to color the bottle neck with the wood color as it's still white like the original background ❤
Hello dude. I'm grateful for u teaching us 😊 but I found ur 1 mistake. At 14:20 you should have removed highlighted part from bottle cap from right side.
Huge Fan! Thanks for sharing those wonderful insights. Just a last query. What is the name of application you use for recording screen? That make my life easy to ask for doubts 😁 Thanks in advance 😁
I will really appreciate if you can make a video on changing or doing a paint preview of House Exterior brick or vinyl. I think A lot of people would appreciate your help. Thanks
Hi, dafinitely this is a amazing video. How to remove the background from the top (just below the cap and brown sticker). There is portion which is white and also from the bottom of the bottle.
Jesus, This is great, thx! Are the initial transparency masking steps (prior to adjusting the light - which would be scene specific) ones that could be made into an Action? Or, would the action only replicate the select shape of the initial transparent vessel used to create the action?
If the background is white I suppose that you could make an action. You will need to refine your layers and adjustments but you could set it up as a way to get you started faster.
Hello Jesus! I didn't find an answer to my question in the comments, so I would be glad if you could help me. If I save the file with the transparent object as png, the transparency doesn't remain after I open it and try to put another BG. Do you know the solution for that? Thank you in advance!
Jesus, I DIG your expertise. Thank you. However, I am trying to get all of this WITH glass WITHOUT a background - to save as a Transparent PNG. How? Once I hide the background layer the adjustment layer is ineffective? Help?
Can someone explain please how did he fix the solid area on 6:30, like he didn't fiz anything in the layer mask of the group he just made a normal layer and used white as if he is inside the mask, is it because of the blending mods applied to the layers above it that kept it the same as the original ?
I too struggle to understand this. And I also guess that it has to do with the blend modes. Maybe we should study his video about blend modes to understand the interaction.
Omar, painting with white makes the original pixels come back because of the way the Multiply Blending Mode works. The oversimplified explanation is that Multiply gets rid of white and bright pixels. So by painting with white you bring back what it takes away.
@@PhotoshopTrainingChannel just another question, if we paint with white cuz the multiply blend hides the whites so it gor revealed back, but we have a screen blending mod also shouldn't it hide whites so when we paint should stay without any changes ?
So one problem I found with this approach is it's not really transparent outside of the document. I want to export the element as PNG and use it in another program where the exported graphic retains all of it's alpha channel properties. You can tell if your image is truly transparent by checking if you can see the checkered background, not just another image behind your glass. I've achieved a similar effect in black and white by going into blending options and under the blend if section, Alt click and hide mid tone shadows and highlights on separate layers. But now I'm struggling to add colour back in, to colour the glass and retain the graphics true transparency. Does anyone have any ideas?
Jesus, you not only know your stuff, but you also know how to teach. Brilliant!
Thank you, David!
Man... the way you decompose the elements of the image is one of a kind here on youtube! Thank you a lot for sharing this

Hello dude. I'm grateful for u teaching us 😊 but I found ur 1 mistake. At 14:20 you should have removed highlighted part from bottle cap from right side.
👍
This awesome. But, how about if the background on the bottle image we want to cut out is not a solid color?
Thank you, Nicholas! That depends on the object and what the background is. It might be too difficult/impossible in some cases.
Huge Fan! Thanks for sharing those wonderful insights.
Just a last query. What is the name of application you use for recording screen?

Great tutorial! Why don't you upload psd with this bottle and background, it's much easier to memorize everything while doing the same on my pc
He can't its a adobe stock paid image. If you want you can get the water mark image from the description
15:54 A lot of A.i. and the pen tool continues being the best way to make a mask... jejeje...
