Came back to this video because while working on a deck I was trying to assign roles to my cards in this way and realized I was having trouble identifying specific cards. After rewatching I realized that what I need to do is ask myself "Of it didn't do x, or if it only did x, would I still be trying to run it?" That helped me narrow things down a lot.
While thinking about the card jobs, It might also be worthwhile to consider yourself as a player. What type of game do you enjoy most? What systems make the most sense to you? Then, you can build a deck that matches your play style.
Super cool video on this discussion and bringing this discussion to the table. Very relevant and helpful info thank you. Its good to know I was already thinking about most of the things you bought up but there was so extra stuff like some terminology I didn't know as much.
Card evaluation is an important skill. Good video, I think any tcg player could identify what a powerful effect looks like, but knowing whether or not it's worth using is what separates the rookies from the veterans.

So the most disruption I think is more represented in attack cards right now like flash keyword or attack cards in Iida that ends enhance step
Do you value cards more for their distinct stats and roles or as parts of synergy or combos?
Personally I like synergy cards BUT there are some cards that are good enough to just stand on their own.
