Tears fell down my eyes the moment I saw Amy wipe the tears in her eyes while singing. :'(( I JUST MISS HER SO MUCH. It breaks my heart that the world and the next generation will never have the chance to her perform again. T_T Amy, you are a pure soul. The difference is in the way they feel what they're singing. Of course Dionne is still maybe too young, but Amy, perhaps for all the tragedy that surrounded her, had a totally captivating way to sing that came from the way she Felt every word, with all her body. Dionna is brilliant, she's the perfect protege for Amy, it's like Amy's passed the torch to her.
But alas, untill she's been in and out of love she'll never be able to write songs like this.
Amy has had more life experience so more feeling definitely from her BUT there's something about Dionne's tone for me that just clicks...it's warmer I think. So once she matures more...wow she will be a beast!
To everyone dissing Dionne for 'copying' Amy. Amy taught Dionne how to sing this because Dionne is Amy's god-daughter. Dionne wasn't trying to be something she wasn't or immitating Amy, she was doing as Amy told her. i think, for a 13 year old (as she was when she sang this she did very well, she has an amazing voice, and to see the transformation to the 15/16 year old that sand at Amy's memorial on TV she has improved a lot and will continue to improve.
