    Mean Girls is easily #1, I’m a guy but damned if that movie isn’t ridiculously cleverly written and quotable, it’s also impressive how it’s had more staying power in today’s pop culture landscape than many $1 billion+ grossing blockbusters from that era

      @Coreyn Marie The Lizzie McGuire Movie was easily my least favorite part of the show imo, I hated how simple slice of life shows like that and Even Stevens had movies such over the top and unrealistic plots and what I hated about the Lizzie movie in particular is that it felt more like a promotion of Hilary Duff’s image than a continuation of the show

    • @trinaq
      @trinaq 4 года назад +5

      I agree, it's very relatable and compelling, and even though Nadine can be a little irritating at times, she's still just a fragile teenager who is dealing with past traumas, and a wonderful heroine. 💙

    • @kamronramelmeier9264
      @kamronramelmeier9264 4 года назад +9

      Trina Q ikr but if anything it's her brother and the fake friend that are irritating. I understand the message that you should consider other people's problems and I think Nadine could've handled the situation in a more mature way, but like the brother basically stole her one friend and the fake friend was willing to end the friendship if it meant she could be with Nadine's brother

    • @trinaq
      @trinaq 4 года назад +6

      @@kamronramelmeier9264 You have a valid point there, Krista seems to choose her new relationship with Darian over her long friendship with Nadine, and Darian doesn't seem sorry about taking Nadine's best and only friend away from her, until the end.
      Still, I can see the situation from their perspectives as well, since Krista was the only person who Darian felt he could be himself with, and Krista wanted to branch out and explore other relationships. ❤️

      I LITERALLY BAWLED watching Edge of Seventeen. When the Dad died in the car accident. I loved the movie. My own Dad died 2 weeks after the blue ray release. After his funeral I stopped at a Redbox, I needed a comic relief break. Bad choice for a giggle feast. But therapeutic as hell. I still watch it every year around the time he died. I have watched a fair amount of Nicholas Sparks movie adaptations and other than that one scene in the Last Song where she plays a song for her deceased father where I teared up a little bit. I have never bawled that hard in a movie than A Walk to Remember I cried so hard my eyes were puffy for the next two days.

    90s era was undoubtebly the best beacuse it has got everything well rounded and still going on the cards ...an it will be ever . era but no doubt 80's era was soo good and memorable .
    90's music and tv and disney was the neverland for any 90s kids and honorable music 80s was overall very good but overall 90s was top notch for games techs artist movies sports etc just ......
    The rom-com was at its pinnacle (Pretty Woman, You've Got Mail), comedies were truly funny (Home Alone, Groundhog Day), critical faves were also crowd-pleasers (Titanic, Forrest Gump), horror films were bone-chilling and realistic (The Silence of the Lambs, Se7en) and teen comedies were having a heyday .....
    The 1990s was a decade where pop culture took flight, we all made some Friends, dance moves were born and fast-food got even bigger. Although they ended more than 20 years ago, some of these American icons remain just as relevant today.
    The 90s were a decade that introduced exciting new technology, some great music, movies, and television, as well as some truly unique fashion trends. ... The 90s were a pivotal period of time in pop culture that we can all look back fondly on (well, for the most part)
    The '90s were an explosive era for cinema. Big-budget action films dominated the box office and advancements in CGI gave us the first completely computer-animated feature film, "Toy Story," which spawned three successful sequels.
