Great choices for the most part. I would ad 'Blast From The Past' and 'Stranger Than Fiction' as two movies that are sweet and fun! They always make me smile!
mamma mia and singin in the rain
excuse me WHERE is Trolls (2016)???
I can’t believe that you didn’t include It’s wonderful life. It doesn’t make you smile, it makes your life happier
The Sound of Music and its iconic songs 🎶
_Legally Blonde_ is not only super fun, it's pretty inspirational too. One of Reese Witherspoon's finest roles.
Elle Woods got a near perfect score on her LSAT
The Emperors New Groove will always make me happier. The narration breaking the 4th wall throughout, the ridiculous jokes and Kronk just being Kronk make it one of my all time favorite feel good movies.
I completely understand that
Both Mamma Mia movies are my feel good movie. There's not a bad day that those movies can't change. I love it❤

2- 17:37 Legally Blonde 2001
1- 18:53 Clueless 1995
Thank you!
I loved Legally Blonde, it was hilarious yet touching at times! Her admissions video, her court scene when she nailed Chutney in the court room and the ‘bend and snap’ were the best scenes!
I wish that Princess Bride was higher. I’m definitely biased because it’s both of my parents favorite movie so I’ve watched it a million times and know all the lines. But it really is such a beautiful, unique, hilarious, clever movie!
1985’s ‘Back to the Future’ is still one of my most favorite science fiction film classics of all time.
That movie is pure fun!
I will always go back to it in the future.
same, born in 86 so yep
I would make the case to replace some of the movies below with these, in no particular order: 1) Easy A, 2) Under the Tuscan Sun, 3) Ferris Buller's Day Off, 4) Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 5) Bringing Up Baby, 6) It Happened One Night, 7) Auntie Mame - Rosalind Russell version, 8) You Can't Take It with You and 9) What a Girl Wants
Last Holiday is definitely a feel good movie.
❤❤❤❤❤
One of my go-to feel good movies is Sisterhood Of Traveling Pants. It wasn’t on this list and I haven’t seen it in a while but I absolutely LOVE it! It makes me so happy and emotional at times but for all the right reasons!
While You Were Sleeping should be on this list!
Why GREASE is not in this list.......is BEYOND me.
Grease still continue to make people happy, generation after generation.
This year.........its 45th Anniversary.
GreasE is still the word!
The parent trap is, was and will always be one of my childhood favorites. Happy sunday morning Ms Mojo, take care and God bless you, hope i see you soon for more, greetings from Colombia.
I love 1960's movie The Parent Trap.
I made my mom watch The princess bride after my dad passed away. She said it made her feel better.
Prayers to you, and The Princess Bride is a top classic movie.
I am 42 yrs old and 1 of my all time happy movies is Pillow Talk!!! ❤
I’m 37 and it’s one of my favorite feel good movies too!!❤
@@allisonreilly1952 I'm honestly really surprised to find someone else that even knows this movie. That's awesome!!!
I’m noticing a complete lack in animated films. Movies like Monsters Inc, Ice Age, and Madagascar always put a smile on my face.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's due to them doing a separate list for the same subject but for animated movies
I totally agree! I dont care how old i am animated movie will always b my happy movies!!
@@benmunn7593 I suppose. But they never specified that.
Animated films always make me smile and laugh Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and Tangled make me smile.
lillo and Stitch
The Holiday is an improbable masterpiece. Can we please talk about how great the score for this movie is?
I'm delighted that so many musicals have made this list. I love having something to sing along with, especially after having had an exhausting day!
💯💯💯
God pls let this be a sarcasm
I almost cried when Ella Enchanted came 😭❤️ I haven’t seen that movie in YEARS but it was one of my favorites growing up and the Somebody To Love scene has lived rent free in my head since I was about nine years old 😂
Anyone else get annoyed when they didn't even mention when a movie was a remake (Hairspray, ParentTrap)... especially when the originals are SO GOOD????
"You've Got Mail" has always been the one for me but I love all your picks as well
What? La La Land? This movie broke me!
It is actually sad. I am not sure why it is on this list.
Same ! Thank you ! That stupid ending
Right?!?!?! I put this movie on the same list as hereditary, great but too upsetting to ever watch again.
My favorite isn't on the list. During the pandemic, I watched Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga multiple times. It always made me feel good. Rachel McAdams and Dan Stevens amazing in it.
While You Were Sleeping is one of my go to feel good movies 😁
Elle enchanted is such an underrated gem!!!❤
The worst thing about feel good movies is that once they're over, you go back to your boring life
And that makes you realize how much your life suck
Exactly
Movies don't cure depression, Mr. McElroy.
💯💯💯💯
@@RapFanatic4ever💯💯
@@nevaehhamilton3493 I never said they did
Where's "Amelie"? The film about small kindnesses is instantly smile making
Yes, this is my #1 feel good movie too.
I would add Mean Girls and High School Musical 2. Because those are some of the movies that I turn to when I need a smile or Pitch Perfect.
LOVE the Pitch Perfect movies!
Only complaint I have about this movie is that The Princess Bride should have been ranked WAY higher. Oops, another one is what about 16 Candles, Pretty in Pink, or my favorite John Hughes film of all time, She's Having a Baby but I'm not sure if the last fits the category but I think it does.
I would’ve put ET at #1. How do you not fall in love with that alien?
Movies in general make me happy 😊
Same here
Me too
Elle Woods does not let others projections of her, define her! Love it!
There are several other movies that were probably better than some of these in this list that I would love watching to bring a smile to my face such as Three Men and A Baby, Sister Act or even Grease!
Definitely Three men and a baby!!! Wonderful movie!!!
I love Three Men movies, they are classic, as is Grease 1 and 2 and Siser Act 1 and 2 😊
Pretty good list. Haven’t seen many of these. My favorite pick-me up movies not mentioned are Monty Python and The Holy Grail and Grease.
Give me ALL the Python movies any day!!
I feel that 'Uptown Girls' from 2003 with Brittany Murphy & Dakota Fanning deserved a spot on this list
If you ever feel like you're stuck in life: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty!
"Some like it hot!" - a savior of my bad mood!
I have seen probably 15 out of the 20 movies on this list and I must agree! They ALL make me so much happier! They are all fun and happy and just cheer me up when I’m having a bad day!
I love Ella Enchanted
Mamma Mia and Singing in the Rain is a great musical
The Lizzie MacGuire movie is still the best movie ever made
How is Ferris Bueller's Day Off not on this list?
I'm glad to see Last Holiday finally getting the recognition it deserves from WatchMojo. It's truly a great hilarious film. 😁
I think everyone has a movie ( or several movies) that is their "happy place" when life is getting them down.
I would've had Amanda Bynes what a girl wants especially with clueless and the princess diaries on the list.
Good movies make me feel better, no matter the genre
The holiday is such a feel good film for me 😊🥰
I would add a couple of Sandra Bullock classics, like While You Were Sleeping and my fave, Practical Magic. Also some Meg Ryan classics, like You've Got Mail, or When Harry Met Sally. But yes, Clueless rules them all.
What about the pitch perfect films? Or matilda? Or footloose?
A fun list but I would put Mamma Mia at the top for featuring a range of women and ages. Dancing Queen forever!
The Princess Bride though ❤
La La Land made me feel sad
i loved Alicia Silverstone in Blast from the Past.
Austenland is one of my absolute favorites.
When I clicked on this I was thinking "If they don't have Legally Blonde on this list then I will have to tell them they are wrong." But I was very happy to see it at #2. When ever I was feeling sad I'd watch this movie and it would lift my spirits. Good Job MsMojo
So happy to see the parent trap on this lidr
mamma mia is special because that was the last movier in theaters i saw with my late mom I love The Holiday!!!! i binge it year round
What about Pretty Woman?
totally agree with the top 3! One of my favourite cheer-up movies is Dumplin' -- SO good and teaches a wonderful lesson that you are loved and valued no matter what you look like and that you should always believe in yourself 💖💕
Ella enchanted is a great movie.
Top Gun: Maverick is one movie that makes me happy.
I Love Top Gun Maverick!
@@jaclynsanture6643 It’s already a classic in my eyes.
Oh man, I was just waiting for Clueless as I watched this video. If Clueless was not Number 1, I was going to have a full on panic attack!!!! Clueless is the best, feel good movie of all time. Thank goodness you agree.
I think the movie Flipped should be on here as a mention, its super cute and under appreciated
Love all of these except LaLa Land. The ending was too upsetting!
Fantastic Mr. Fox makes me happy.
White Chicks and Sister Act always makes me happy.
Honestly, I prefer the 1988 Hairspray to the 2007 remake
Decent list, but two criticisms: first, except for Singin' in the Rain, they apparently didn't make any "feel good" movies before the late 1990s -- which is SO wrong. (Watch The Band Wagon with Fred Astaire, esp. the magical "Dancing in the Dark" sequence with Cyd Charisse.) Second, La La Land is a musical with two talented, charismatic actors in the leads, neither of whom could sing or dance very well. ("Able to carry a tune" and "Able to follow choreographed steps" is much too low a bar.) It does not belong on a list with Singin' in the Rain, much less _higher_ on the list. (Just an opinion, but an informed one.)
The Princess Bride is only #17? Seriously??? 🙂
The Sound of Music is not on this list. Are you nuts???
The original Parent Trap is much better than the Lohan version, but they're both fun. Bridget Jones's Diary is an update of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, so, yes, of course it's very British. And, speaking of Jane Austen, Clueless is an adaptation of her Emma.
The Goonies is one of my all time favorites.definitely a feel good movie.
Where the heck is Paddington 2?!!!
Exactly, and Matilda
Would have loved to have seen Mean Girls and When Harry Met Sally on this list.
Hairspray, is special to me cause my brother took me to see his school preformance of it when I was little and I didn’t remember it at the time but ever since then it’s been special to me it isn’t my favorite that goes to Les Mis but it holds a special place in my heart
Totally missed Grease 😮
Last guy I seen for 20 years still on his bike, he is. Doing something right
You forgot Dirty Dancing!❤
I've seen (and enjoy!) Most on this list! I would add 10 Things I Hate About you.
Also, If you like Princess Bride, I'd recommend Stardust! ❤
Why would La La Land make you feel happy?
switch to all the boys i’ve loved before and my big fat greek wedding and this list is 10/10
Clueless is my biggest guilty pleasure movie, when I need a pick me up this is what I turn to.🥰
Loved the video!!! There is a really famous Book called "Das Doppelte Lottchen" by the quite famous German Author Erich Kästner which is around the same theme as the "Parent Trap" :)
REALLY prefer the Original "Hairspray" (without the Terrible John Travolta and WITH the Divine DIVINE) AND the Original "Parent Trap" with Hayley Mills and Maureen O'Hara!
Thank you I needed that list!!❤️
Though I don’t agree on the #1 film but I’ll let it slide!
You're so welcome!
I love "The Holiday", and there's a film called "Tara Road", which was released the year before, with a similar premise of two women from different contentients who swap houses.
What about Top Gun: Maverick? Isn't that one movie that makes everyone happy?
@@SolCresta3405 Love that movie
@@chasehedges6775 Really, that movie *SAVED* the film industry. It dragged a lot of us out of our lives in the gutter.
Can you believe Kate Winslet choosing Jack Black?
@@andrewq159 Kate Winslet choosing Jack Black? What do you mean?
So right about ALL of these 😊😊😊😊
Maybe should have specified ROMANCE movies, cuz Point Break, Die Hard, Terminator . . . ALL make me happy!!
I can’t believe that Grease isn’t on this list! The movie Grease is iconic & one of the best examples of feel good movie formulas that a lot of the movies listed on her followed. What about The Wizard of Oz, why isn’t it here either? On a personal note why did you have to show the remake of Hairspray(2007) instead of the original Hairspray from 1988 with Divine which is the better choice?
Or Dirty Dancing. But why is Clueless #1?
Why are there NO animation movies?!?
Groundhog Day, Pretty Woman, 10 Things I Hate About You... Honorable mention to What Women Want and Mel Gibson dancing to Frank Sinatra, it always cheer me up
GREAT list, but I think you missed "Pitch Perfect." It is a wonderful feel good, female empowered movie.
Home Alone could be here as well.
Some great childhood movies. 😊
Damn! My favourite movies are on this list ❤❤
I hated "Love, Actually" when it first came out and I still hate it. But, I agree with many of your other selections and, yes, "Legally Blonde" is a great feel-good movie. 🙂
Legelly Blonde is a great movie, it really charmmingly funny.
Don't get me wrong, I like Lindsey Lohan in the Parent Trap but I prefer the original with Hayley Mills.
I absolutely love la la land its fantastic ❤❤❤
Mamma Mia! Imádom ❤❤❤
I love the holiday 🥺🥺🥺
I never cared for "Bring it on" or "Love Actually"! 🤮But the other ones are great! 💖
