  • In this episode, Noel shares more about the CI "G-Skate." You won't want to miss the extra clips from Noel and former professional surfer Magnum Martinez. Find out what he likes about the G-Skate and what waves they put this surfboard in. Barrell surfing and rail surfing were not even a challenge when it came to pushing this board in overhead waves in Puerto Rico. Magnum calls this surfboard a "fun board that paddles well." Noel shares what makes a better groveler or daily driver -- the "G-Skate" or the "Bobby Quad?" Find out by watching the full episode.

    Fantastic episode, Noel! I love riding my G Skate in waves ranging from 4-6+ feet. Even in punchy 2-3 foot waves, it's still a blast!

    Epic to see you surf different waves… trestles holds a special place in my heart on this channel but the new camera shots and barrels and more make it even more exciting

    Thank you for this. I had a very similar experience. I have the g skate in spine tek. It is not a very good groveler, but when the waves pack a little more punch/shape it is super fun. I have ridden mostly mayhem fishes over the years and they seem to grovel a lot better with effortless speed in those flat sections, unless it is a super lightweight person it might be different.

    Hey Noel! Great vid! I was wondering how the helium technology felt under foot in Machado’s boards compared to the XTR

    • @surfnshowreviews7777
      @surfnshowreviews7777  2 месяца назад +1

      I like the Helium tech… it’s light and pretty durable but the XTR10 offers more pop, projection and drive. It also pressure dents less

    Hello Noel, Whats the difference between the PU and XTR in regards of how you feel the board? And do you have a personal opinión on XTR in general. Thank you for the great reviews, keep up this amazing work.

    • @surfnshowreviews7777
      @surfnshowreviews7777  2 месяца назад +1

      XTR is way more durable in terms of less pressure dents. It also flows a bit better… roughly 1L more compared to PU. I personally like the XTR10 with carbon lite layup.

    Hey Noel if you were to puck the most user friendly shortboard for 0 to 3 foot what would that be ? I m working on my technic to surf top to bottom consistently and for that I need to maximise wave count and forgiveness for my next purchase. Any progress i do, tend to go back to rushing down the line too much few days laters.
    From your reviews I bought a seaside pyzalien 2. It s rarely very clean so my seaside isn't often used and I feel the pyzalien 2 doesn't work well in average condition below 3 foot.
    Thanks mate!

      At the moment my first thoughts to your board request looks like the options below in PU/Poly.
      Hybrid Board outline: RNF 96, Gremlin, Chilli BV2.
      Small wave boards with performance outline: Rocket Wide Squash, Mini Ghost Squash, NB3, CI Sampler.

    Hey Noel, Some boards this shape have pretty full rails the whole way through and dont really like being turned super hard on rail. Looks like the outline is pretty tight and nice that last third of the board. Is it easy to turn or is it resling a bull if you know what i mean? lol

  • @JSLAM15

    Which one do you prefer RNF96 or G-Skate? Thank you!

    • @surfnshowreviews7777
      @surfnshowreviews7777  2 месяца назад +3

      I prefer the 96… it’s faster, surfs better in smaller waves and you can charge the big surf too

    Super responsive fast and forgiving board. I have a customized 60 19.25 2.5 32.6L (I am 150 lbs) and I am very surprised for how it turns rail to rail and slides. Its different to a regular shortboard and it is just fun to ride . The narrow tail make it fun to turn. 2+1 set up is the way to go

      @foxgd9117 YES! Cymatic needs juice .......
      Bushman is like cheating! Can't explain but it has a mind of it's own, can't pinpoint it's genius perhaps the flip in it's nose? Glassed in signature keel fins a must .......I literally sold ALL my Futures because of this.
      Cymatic thruster K2.1's for optimum capacity
