Nice guide. A guide of my own. If you are a controller user and want to try a wheel, the Moza R3 is the must buy for xbox. Forza Horizon 5 is THE GOAT of driving games with a modern wheel. Do it, just do it. Try this setup for Forza Horizon 5 I use auto so I can concentrate on left foot braking. Cockpit view helps. Good road feel Amazing off road feel. Cornering forces are strong. It's all bloody amazing. Forza Horizon 5 advanced settings. vibration scale .3 If this is set too high driving through water and landing big jumps will cause painful vibration through the wheel. Vibration scale and 100 Hz setting work together. Thanks man, I agree 100% with you regarding that Moza R3. Just the other day I was recommending this to my friend. I don't play Forza anymore though, all my Forza games (FH5/FM8) stopped working in November last year and I haven't been able to get it to work since. Wish I could though because just before it stopped working, I was getting pretty decent with using my wheel (Thrustmaster TX) But anyway🤷🏻♂️ Also, seeing that you contributed in this way... I give a few pieces of knowledge that I learnt after I made these guides... Camber is also used to reduce body roll Toe angles can be used for generating more heat in a tyre ARBs affect how the car reacts on turn-in. The stiffer the bar, the sharper and quicker the turn... Except the rear, the stiffer the rear bar, the more the car is going to feel like a go-kart. And then something I always say to remind myself lol: alignment starts at the rear but where the front goes, the rear must follow
By the way, I just remembered something. I am guessing you have a wheel so I have to say this to you. Don't follow my guide to the T, use it as a guide for making corrections to the setup to make the car behave the way you want... Yes But The difference you must apply when tuning with the wheel must be based on what you feel. My process was made to do things in a logical order but having a wheel, you can do a lot more because then you will be tuning the car based on what you actually feeling. This way; you might even be able to save some time because if you can solve the issues you feeling, you don't have to go through the entire tuning process👍🏼
@@racingreaperofficial Thanks for the feedback. Forza Horizon 5 is what I now call a wheelcadesim. The work that has been done to implement FFF in FH5 is truly impressive. But It hasn't the same handling characteristics as more sim directed titles. The new DD wheels are going to open other games to new ideas. Imagine jumping a car in GTA that you control with a FF wheel. So amazing. As for tuning. Imagine a small phone book full of bump stop and spring rates. That's me.
@patrick247two lol I like how you termed it, it seems very fitting 👍🏼 I tried jumping in that GTA V map in Assetto Corsa and it was quite a thrill... I'd imagine if I was using a DD wheel, I might have my wrists or thumbs (or both😳) broken I give you a tip seeing as you actually jot things down for tuning, try a spreadsheet and throw in some formulas. I used to do this when I played Forza and saved me a lot of time👀
@@racingreaperofficial I used a GTA5 mod for single player with a G25. which showed the promise. Unusable in multiplayer which is where I wanted to play. I hope Rockstar read this and take the hint. Not to worry about spreadsheets, never opened one and are a mystery to me. Got plenty of paper and a calculator, I'll get by. Nice to chat, carry on.
The centrifugal supercharger is great for wet dirt builds. Though I made record times with it on normal dirt, I couldn't repeat with the other options as well. Never use a turbo for off road, would be my advice.
Interesting 🤔 It makes sense too, the more linear performance from the engine would make it easier to control Thanks for that, the next time I try FH5 (if I can get the game to work😞), I'm gna try a dirt build like this👀
Lol yeah I took my whole life, my experience in racing games as well as real life knowledge of how things work and real world racing scenarios and developed my skills to where they are currently. Also, thank you so much for subscribing, it means alot. If you ever need any help in the game with a tune or whatever, feel free to DM me via Facebook. I am always willing to help because all i do in this game after the weeklies is tune a different car one by one and go race them in online😅🤷✌️glad to have you as a sub watching my videos man
Mostly I do. 1. Look at the engine conversions. 2. Look at AWD for street racing and better handling. 3. Add spoilers and sometimes add better breaks to handle the extra speed with a minimum PI. 4. Top it off with engine upgrades.
@leovanlierop4580 you remind me of a friend, his builds were very similar I like that you leave power for last, less power and putting the balance more towards control is more my style... But you should try to go the other way around sometimes just for fun👀 Power builds are intense and challenging to drive😅
@@racingreaperofficial just today I was busy with the weekly festival playlist race. And I had great success with lots of different cars. Then I noticed no one was driving the VW Scirocco. Looks so slow. Ow well, lets give it a go. After tuning I was winning every race, it drives so nicely! Probably my favorite car for that race. Just to prove, keep on tuning and trying!!!
