Dude please do a dirt, off-road cc focused session like this, just get one good cc truck and one good rally car and explain as you go, this is by far the very best turning video, and i thought i seen them all, your voice the speed at wich you explain concepts is spot on, most other videos do not give the concepts so intelligently. I will watch all your vids sir!❤

Good guide. You need to go into more depth on trans, gears, rpm range and how to adjust to min. rpm for peek performance. Where HP and torque cross min. rpm for each gear. Also need to do four wheel drive examples, base tune, good starting point and how to adjust from there.
Great tuning video. I've found the uploaded ones from other drivers tend to be very min-maxed and good if you just want to jump into a race. I tend to have to try a few out to find one that fits my driving style, and doesn't have any glaring problems (such as heavy over-reving and poor shifting). The biggest issue I've found is that almost all, unless attempting to reach a low rank for an event, tend to be converted into all wheel drive. There are many times when I want to keep the rear/front wheel drive and tune around that, so this has helped me do more of that. Maybe not ideal for online racing, but a lot of fun for vs AI and season events.

Nice job on this topic; definitely one of the best at explaining what each area does. One thing I've read/heard is in Forza Horizon the brake balance is messed up so that moving toward the front actually moves balance rearward and vice versa. Not sure if this is true, urban myth, etc. Would love if you took a car (A class, so not too slow or fast) and went through the tuning process.

Great video! Could you answer this for me? I have an Audi R8 with a 53% front weight distribution. Should I have my base tune ARB, springs, and dampers roughly 3% stiffer in the front since my front end is heavier?
What tuning is necessary if a car pulls straight when applying gas ? I have followed everything here and the car does not seem to understeed much though it still feels like it pulls straight in a corner as soon as I apply gas
Hello, it's at the end of "Gear Tuning", you have to move your first gear to the left (privileging speed over accelaration), so the tires will slip less, do it until you feel the car grips more. Same for the second gear. They are generally very badly configured by default. And if you lower a little your tire pressure it could also help to have more grip. Anyway don't push your throttle at max when starting :)

Great suggestion, and yes, the FH5 brake balance/bias is reversed for some reason. Has been the case in the last few Horizon games.
His base tune is better than my actual tunes 😂😂😂

Switch your control scheme to default and under Advanced Controls you can do certain things like switch Handbrake with Clutch.
