    I love this boy! His humility, his modesty, his sincerity, his empathy, his "being normal"! These are unconventional characteristics for a metal singer, and I think that also contributed to making Gojira who they are

    Joe sounds like a really good, polite person! Interviewer speaks good english, better than on other videos 💪🏻! Good, straight to the point but most importantly Joe gets to answer freely without interrupting. I just wonder why there is no video, just audio?
    Gojira kicked ass once again inTUSKA, great live band!!

      Unfortunately it was out of our hands as they wanted it only as audio. 😊 Joe said after interview that you should have filmed this because it was so good but it was a bit too late at that point. 😅

    I was fortunate enough to see Gojira for my 1st ever time for the 1st show of their 2nd leg of the Mega Monsters 2023 tour at Newport, KY. I was so Blown away by their performance, the Emotion, and how well the mix/drums sounded live AND it rained during their set!!! It was Incredible 🖤 I'm addicted now, that show awakened a part of me I thought had died inside. Drove way out to Pittsburgh for a 2nd show and debating trying to catch a 3rd show (I was lowkey more impressed with Gojira even though I had originally gone to see Mastodon live!) This band is 1 of the rare ones that sound just as good if not better than studio, gained another Metal Head fan

    I love these four boys. I have two boys of my own who are huge Gojira fans and I also love their music. Christian and Jean-Michel as well as Mario and Joe are so talented. There is definitely something in metal for every person. It is a very complicated genre of music. It isn't what the critics call it...noise. There is much more than that but you have to really listen. Joe's vocals are easy to understand. The louder the better is our motto. In our house it was not "Turn that noise down!" It was "Turn that way up! Who is that?"

    God DAMN does Gojira ever suck. I will never get tired of ripping on this band. I wouldn't mind their existence if newbies who just discovered metal yeaterday didn't always try claiming they were the most heavy, extreme, brutal band ever - this kid literally said he had never even HEARD OF Immolation, one of the biggest, well-known, surface-level death metal bands out there, until I brought them up as an example of a heavier-sounding band when asked "what's heavier than Gojira?"

    • @chaoszine
      @chaoszine  10 месяцев назад +8

      Immolation is quite underground as a band. Just did similar episode with David Vincent yesterday so check it out when it comes out! 😎🤟

    • @icankillbugs
      @icankillbugs 10 месяцев назад

      @@chaoszine On what planet are Immolation underground? You ask someone what the most well-known, popular death metal bands are, they're going to be RIGHT up there with Suffocation, Incantation, Mortician, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Possessed, Death, Morbid Angel, and Deicide lol.

    • @chaoszine
      @chaoszine  10 месяцев назад +8

      @@icankillbugs agree but if you ask most wellknown dm bands from some basic guy he mentions first Cannibal Corpse and then maybe Death, Carcass, Deicide and Morbid Angel. 😊 But yes if you know a little more then on the next batch of bands is also Immolation. 😊
