The first time I heard gojira I was locked in my room for a week smoking meth . I was at the bottom of the barrel with a 15 year meth addiction . That night their songs did something to me. Now I've been sober for 6 years. Completely changed my life.

I never experienced what I felt when I first heard Metallica …. Until I heard Gojira. And I’m proud to say I only found them this year. There is so much to hear and enjoy. It makes me want vinyl and shirts and concerts and all those things like I’m a damn teenager again. It’s just a beautiful feeling. If you don’t understand that’s alright. But someone does. Somebody out there gets this feeling.
Found them recently aswell. Only a couple bands have made me deep dive into their whole discography, I wanted to listen to gojira so badly that I changed streaming services to access all gojiras music. Green day, metallica, slipknot, a7x and gojira are the only bands that make me want anything I can get of them

Same feeling! Finding gems in each album especially playing their songs on guitar is really a new way, takes time to get used to it
I got that feeling too. Gojira's music affected me emotionally in a way I've never experienced before. I can't really describe it.
These guys are the paragon of humility. Lots of dedication, lots of work, lots of passion. Wonderful human beings.

Such a great show. I saw that tour here in Albuquerque.
I was able to see them in Toronto on that tour and the other opening bands didnt play so we got a bit over an hour of Gojira before the Deftones even came out. Truly blessed

I saw em on this tour in 2008 when they supported In Flames. Safe to say that they were the true headliners that night. Even got to hang with them for a while after the show when they just walked at the club area.

Gojira played right after them and totally blew our collective minds . Since then they are still my favorite metal band . What a night ! Where did you see them?.. I was in Vancouver bc .
Caught the headlining tour in 2009 right after this album dropped. Iv never been to a better metal show.
I remember watching this way back in the day. I believe this is the greatest album they've created.
They are extremely inspiring , to the point they make me wanna become someone to be proud of. Thats enough for me to say they are the best band I've ever seen.

OMG this band.. never höörd before Olympics.. INSANE good players. This drummer just blows my mind. Band is like a unite. Very very solid. And best of all... NO guitar solos!!

There is something truly unique about this band
The first time I heard Gojira was at the end of 2008 when The Full Metal Racket on Triple J in Australia had a countdown of the best metal albums of that year, The Way of All Flesh was no.7 and they played Vacuity which stood out from all the other songs they were playing. Ended up buying the album and have been a Gojira fan ever since 🤘😀

I saw gojira live for the first time after the pandy. They played love and the hairs on the back of my neck stood attention. I can't listen to that song without feeling an overwhelming sense of holy fuck.
Gojira saved my life,they put their souls into their lyrics and song....and unlike any other metal or other genre of music, they actually care about this messed up world we live in and try to bring attention to things happening to our beautiful planet that we take hand in destroying every day!!!

First time I saw Gojira was opening for In Flames in 2008 in Toronto. Like a month after Flesh came out. I wasn't fully into them but Vacuity was immediately on repeat constantly. When they started playing my gf at the time had to move to the back cause "she was scared". I was just like "right? it's awesome!" I think one of my favorite things is that the lineup has been the same through every album as Gojira.... no egos, minimal drugs/partying (it seems like), Just looks like 4 best friends having a blast.

wow !! la scène (en première partie de Metalica si j'ai bien compris) avec le public qui voit jouer gojira de dos , et encore avec entre eux et le groupe tout le matosse du groupe d'apres (batterie recouverte d'un drap et amplis) , c'est chaud quand même !
Là dur réalité des première partit et juste des "petit groupe" (à l'époque)
ils tournent sur la scene , heureusement , il ya plusieurs micros , comme ça joe peut switcher de position

Mais après y'a aussi sûrement les micros qui sont vers le public pour enregistrer en live...

If you pay attention to one or two moments in the video, you can hear the song "The Gift of Guilt" which was only released in 2012 and this documentary in 2008 or 2009.
