Hey Adam. Great Video. I just heard about the fujifilm. I'm a new youtube creator. Been doing all my videos with my hero 10 which I love. But it's not great in low light and also would like to have a camera with a telephoto lens for closeup shots when hiking. It's also not ideal for my talking head videos. I'm trying to find a camera for the following activities.. and would prefer not to send more than $1,700 including lenses. I plan to use the camera for: 1). When hiking and at a really cool site.. pull out the camera and take some closeups with a good zoom lens.. My hero10 will take all of the other hiking footage.. 2) Would use it for doing my talking head videos at home. 3) I'm starting to do some car maintenance videos, so would likely use it for filming some car maintenance stuff - i.e, under the car, not great light.. thinking a camera that does decent low light, and also something that has pretty decent auto focus.. Haven't figured out how exactly i'm going to shoot under the car though.. not sure if handheld or some sort of low profile stand - maybe having an attached light would help with low light 4) I've also always wanted to do night time lapse milkyway type videos. Any suggestions.. I guess for all of these scenarios I could probably use a tripod/stand? Maybe I anwered my own question? Appreciate your input though!!
Sounds like an apsc would be great for your needs..if your doing mostly video I’d suggest Sony Zv1 or zve10, or maybe even r7/r10 from canon. Be careful wilth canon though as they have very few lenses that don’t cost major $. Also get at light like the aputure MC lights like that are great for smal places. I use my all the time as a substitute glashlight
I get the fact that it's not for you, but Catalyst gives you the option to have PERFECT stabe with very little crop. You don't get that with the Fuji...
Thanks for watching! I'm not sure if it was this video or XS-10 vs A7C video, I concluded that stabilization is equal, my thoughts were straight out of camera the XS-10 wins by a long shot, BUT you will never get the XS-10 to look like the Sony using CB..unless you use a gimbal.
@@hasenmyer and then there's the focus issues, don't know what's up with the XS10 but it sometimes misses focus on faces completely for no apparent reason. Will say that the colors are a bit better than Sony's, then again that's almost always the case with sony cameras. Thanks for the video, have a good one!
I wouldn't shoot a wedding with a camera that didn't have two card slots, but if I had to choose between the two it would be the sony for the autofocus.
That's a very weird comparison - The ZV1 is a $750 vlogger camera with a 1-inch sensor & fixed lens VS. a $1400 APS-C interchangeable lens, stills/video hybrid camera?! These are 2 completely different cameras for 2 completely different users and markets. BTW the ZV1 is an awesome vlogging/creators camera!
