If it was real, "lower mana value" is not what the wording would be; it would say "lesser mana value."
That one dude on reddit obsessed with WOTC printing a Yawgmoth god card is going to lose it.

Yeah that leak looks fake. If that is a Phyrexian language showcase beside it, then it would have the Phyrexian frame. Not to mention the art looks like it was just copied from somewhere else. The background art legit looks like someone slapped a generic purple colored filter over it. Even the set symbol looks like it is too big for the frame.
Mark My Words. It is in the horror set, and then the reason is that one of the Planeswalker characters still around from the Weatherlight saga is going to hallucinate it, or some evil force is going to pull the memory of it from their mind and use it to scare them.
Kaito is gonna be in the horror set but we don't know if he's still a Planeswalker. If he is and they stick to their 1 per set rule this theory may at least be partially off the table. For the record though I do really like it
The theory makes sense considering the lovecraftian/90's horror style of the set, but yawgmoth is a very important character in the lore and more especific for the Phyrexians, if wotc decided to print a new yawgmoth it had to be when march of the machine sets released or in modern Horizons 3 but time will tell if is true or false
So, ascended Yawgmoth is something I desperately wished they had done. For a long time, I just accepted it wasn't because Urza, Planeswalker wasn't, but then he popped up, in TBW, and I held out hope that they might di a meld for him, like Urza, Mishra, and Titania, but nope, and I guess it was to not overshadow Mishra, and because all five colors already had their meld cards. Still, id love to see some LgEnchtCr Phyrexian God thing, and I feel like Modern Horizons was probably the best bet, unless they do another "dipping into the past" set, like Brother's War.
As for this thing, I doubt it is real, at all. Its too bad, but I just don't see where it would fit, and im personally fine with Yawgmoth staying dead, especially now that his Phyrexians have also been toppled. A flashback card would be great; some "THIS is what Urza battled against!", but he doesnt need to come back as the next big bad, and I say that as a big fan of Mirrodin, Yawgmoth, Urza, and such.
that card looks way too good, like the fake Sheoldred with 3 or 4 diferwnt abilities and a ward of sacrificing 2 permanents (or was discarding 2 cards, dont remember)
This would be awesome in my Shilgengar deck. Sack a creature with Shil's ability, get the blood token, reanimate something else for a body, its effects or just to sack it for card draw. Plus, in a Shil deck, its likely Yawgmoth will have indestructible.
Teferi did travel back in time to brothers war...maybe something hitched a ride back?

I'd really like a new yawgmoth as I already have a yawgmoth deck and I love it but I feel like it's just another aristocrats deck with lots of card draw and -1's. I want a yawgmoth that really ties phyrexians together and makes them work well together.
I wouldnt be surprised if this is a special promotional card for the lesser hyped sets coming up like a guaranteed box topper maybe since the one side has a promo stamp or maybe the prerelease promo... it feels weird seeing fear again which isnt out of the realm of possibility but it does seem odd.
Now if it were real i think it would awesome if somehow he had faked his death and has been hiding somewhere no one would ever check like possibly in the plane of bloomburrow just licking his wounds and plotting under guise of fluffy animal warriors with acorn shields 😂

Even if it is legit, I can't see it being printed as a face card for a precon. That 9 generic mana component of the cost is huge without a way to reduce it stapled on, and that only increases with commander tax. Big feel bads if playing this only to have it countered.
Deathtouch seems like such a weird thing to put on a 9/9.

Cool concept but the art doesn't really fit the character
This is fake is modern horizon 3 is out and non cannon right, but some of the cards are cannon to the lore which is confusing to me?
Having Yawgmoth return to a non cannon set would be awesome as heck since is the original father of the phyrexians and it's something all the fan had been wishing for a long time Hasbro this a a gold mine take this opportunity, however I would advise to nerf this a little.

Fear, Deathtouch fear is flavorful.
Whenever a creature dies, you may put from graveyard on top the battlefield under your control, expect it's a phyrexian creature to addition to it's other types with a finality counter and has "{b}{b}, sacrifice this creature draw, each player lose 1 life."
Keep the threshold but replace with creatures.
The card costs 9 mana. Largely unplayable unless you're doing reanimator shenanigans. I don't see the hype here even if it is true.

I think if ti was real it would need some tweaks. For instance 4 and 2 phyrexian for a 5/5. And Change the ability to if the creature would leave the battlefield, Exile it instead. So it cant be as abused. That I think would balance it.
Fear and death touch.. right there, those two abilities are counter-synergistic and terrible together. not real

Whats the source of the card leak? Some random dude? Reddit isnt an original ource, thats a 2nd source. Anybody could have made this up. No excuse for a "blurry" pic nowadays with auto-focus unless it was from some 70+ yr old person. Lol. And what 70+ person is playing mtg? And leaking cards. Lol. Very sus!!!
