    Yo btw this is unronically a very well made video, like i was really suprised by how small you are as I watched the video first, camera is good, you show the cards clearly and explain your stratagy. This was cool to watch. Love the deck, deffo taking out the 5 cards that take up 90% of the value haha but its a fun looking deck

    I already have made an Undertaker alt art proxy, and am finishing my own custom art tomorrow. This guy looks fun to play.

    This and Henzie are some amazing recent jund commanders. So much fun to play. The jund mh3 deck was by far my favorite to pilot. Caring about goyfs or just big stompy graveyard things. It’s probably one of my favorite commander deck sets. All of them are very fun from devoid matter eldrazi, simic land, and the jeskai energy are also fun.

    I really like these suggestions. I built my own version of Coram this week and played it today, had Daemgoth Titan (sp?) the 11/10 in my graveyard and Garruk's Uprising for trample. I'm definitely going to add these suggestions, I really like them.

    Don't forget Geth. You can steal creatures from an opponents graveyard, then mill them further.

    I run a very similar styled Coram deck! I usually try to get rolling around t5-6 once ive gotten some support on the field. I also run mindcrank so when I swing in I also get my opponent to mill a bunch more cards.

    nice guide! I regard coram as a huge draw and dmg engine with cards like Greater Good, Momentous Fall, Lifes Legacy, Fling etc. With tortured existence in play, I can always guarantee that Coram can be returned to my hand with an exchange of a fatty for more sac outlet to get more resources and deal more dmg. It is quite fun when you fling him to the opponent with Lord of Extinction in your graveyard :D!

    I don’t see how Multani, Maro sorcerer is an alternative. Power is equal to all cards in hands. He’s the ideal first entomb

    So my stupid question is... If I play a land from my hand does Coram's ability allow for a second land to be played in the same turn as long as its from one if the milled cards? Or is this still a play one land per turn regardless?

    • @AbsoluteCardboard
      @AbsoluteCardboard  4 месяца назад +2

      Unfortunately, Coram doesn’t allow you to play an “extra” so just your normal.

    Embercleave is the equipment you need. If you attack with four creatures, it only costs RR. It also has flash, so go ahead and entomb it after blocks and then cast it with Coram's ability before damage. And artifact ramp? Come on. Skull Prophet, Tato Farmer. The list of better options goes on and on. Skull Profit mills you for two when you don't need to tap it for mana and Tato Farmer gives you extra land drops with the option of giving yourself rad counters for more mill. And IDK why Ignoble Hierarch is an Alternative. It might as well be a second copy of Birds of Paradise. I think you should slam both of those. And if you like cards like Winding Way and Grisly Salvage (which I do), you should check out Malevolent Rumble.

    Doesn't the Oriq Loremaster also work with the commander by playing the card fetched for with the commanders ability?
    {T}: Search your library for a card, put it into your graveyard, then shuffle. If it’s an instant or sorcery card, put a +1/+1 counter on Oriq Loremage
    During each of your turns, you may play a land and cast a spell from among cards in graveyards that were put there from libraries this turn.

      Surviving a turn cycle still applies. But the card is perfect synergy with him

    • @simplyprism5854
      @simplyprism5854 5 месяцев назад +1

      It does, need a board wipe at that moment? Oriq Loremage to Coram. You need a fight spell? Oriq loremage to coram. You need anything? Oriq loremage to coram. I discovered how busted oriq loremage was when I was building my Carmen cruel skymarcher deck and was putting sheoldred whispering one in my graveyard to play for free during my combat step and other big scary creatures for free. But coram just says "spell" so it's absolutely busted and oriq will probably be removed quickly once the opponents figure that out lol best part is there is a card I forget the name but it's a black card that swaps your graveyard and library so if you mill too hard and yoy have it in hand you can use it to get your entire library back essentially while your opponents libraries are very low in cards

      Other commenters have nailed it, but yes, this is almost a case where a card works too well. I know my particular playgroup would have this dude dead ON SIGHT. But it is powerful enough where I wanted to include it in the alternatives because in a more laxed environment it could just take over the game.

      I've heard very little talk of this commander this set. There's at least 10 other commanders people are frothing about overshadowing Coram, so if popularity is your main barrier I don't think it plays a factor here at all.
