His music was good to me at that time BUT i'm now a grown man and have learned about ozzy and sharron and what they've done to their past band mates. Nah. The riff is banging. That's one of the best "stripper pole" grooves I've ever heard. Ozzy is good but he could be replaced with a dozen other decent metal singers and the song would still top ten bang, because that riff is so damn Godly.

Ozzy doesn't really write songs. He a vocalist not a writer. The most he generally does is express an interesting melody idea, usually by humming as the only thing else he can do is barely play a bit of harmonica (by his own admission). Virtually every song you hear by Ozzy was written by someone else in the band or someone around him, they just put him in the writing credits because (a) it's Ozzy and it's usually "his" band (b) he hummed out a bit of the melody. Ozzy's attitude and uniqueness of his voice is what made him famous, not any amazing singing or writing talent. Ozzy and Lemmy Kilmister are close musical kin in some ways, able to take not much of nothing and still make that not much of nothing utterly fantastic.

43 here, I found a black sabbath cassette in my Dad's room when I was five. I was blasting it through a little single speaker cassette player when he got home. He took it away and said I was too young, but it was too late. It couldn't be stopped. 😂

No he doesn't. He's had backup vocalists since the 80's. Last 2 times I saw Sabbath, I think he lip synched the whole show. I love Ozzy, but he's not very good.

43 here, I found a black sabbath cassette in my Dad's room when I was five. I was blasting it through a little single speaker cassette player when he got home. He took it away and said I was too young, but it was too late. It couldn't be stopped. 😂

Yea it really is a good song, and looking from a cinematographer's point of view it was really cool what all the guys did to accommodate Ozzy's needs and integrate that into the video in a natural way! I have some heavy metal demos out on my channel

First time I saw OZ was in 1976 with Black Sabbath. Seen him 14 times in concert. He still kicks ass and I am still headbanging to him.
