    But the biggest problem is that majority of food packets, bottles etc have the mfg date, exp date, lot and batch numbers vanished from them due to constant rubbing on shelves!! ☹️

    Saturated fats are not necessarily bad. It depends on the source and whether they are short chain or long chain or in the middle. Saturated fats have long been labeled as “bad”. For example: coconut oil which is a medium chain triglycerides, MCT, is known to be very healthy. The entire South Indian uses that. Also, Dairy fat also is considered to be healthy as it contains a complex mix of fatty acids with 70% of short, medium, and long chain and about 30% unsaturated fats. Fats from Animals should be avoided for sure. Prefer lean chicken, for example, rather than fatty chicken with skin.

      I eat everything but always track the calories..replaced sugar with jaggery, exercise every day at least for 30minutes..any exercise you can do..I drink a lot of water..and the most important part is to have an early dinner..and adequate sleep..I dine at 6 and go to bed by 10..this helped me a lot in maintaining a healthy weight
