Shouldn't the engine/trans angle down 3 degrees or so, so the pinion angle can match? I don't think you want everything straight. I could be wrong of course. Build looks great
I wonder what your overall weight is once the chassis is finished. I know it will be rigid for sure. But the engine being set back further will help with weight balance.
You’re killing it! Love the CAD work! Would you be interested in selling me some dimensions of the front control arm mounting points? I can’t seem to find any on the internet. I don’t need the lower crossmember cradle- I’ll make my own and will just be using the control arms and brakes. If you’re interested I’ll message you on I.G.
Hell yes on showing how you do the design work! That'd be super cool!
That ain't going nowhere unless the truck goes. You definitely did your homework on that!
Awesome work, thanks for the videos, CAD stuff is awesome too 🤣
Looks great. Well done, I can't wait to see the finished product
id love to see more of the design work on solidworks

Thanks your videos are great

With leaf spring you do what something like that so under power things like up. But with a link rear end you want them parrallel.
Look into swag off-road, they make fixtures for multiple kinds of band saws to make cutting plate easily
Fancy
Fun to watch the progress, I am looking forward to each new episode! How far apart are the main frame rails to line up with the front sub frame?
Inside width is 32.375

That looks stout AF! I wonder how the weight compares to the original frame
Im hoping it will be around 3500 race weight
Good lord that engine setback, gonna be a mid engine by the time this thing is done lol
