People do this for free. Imagine what they'd could do if offered a small $250k or $500k by nintendo. A games thats gonna shift a million units in a few days seems like a good pay off to me.

Remember that they really didnt remake the whole game. They probably just updated the models and added a better lighting, the code is probably the exact same as before, wich is what takes the longest time to make and polish.

Hey, that’s the “Riddle of Steel” and “Riders of Doom” themes from Basil Poledouris’ “Conan The Barbarian” Soundtrack of 1982! Classy.
There used to be an actual OOT commercial back in the N64 era, using this music. I even saw it in a movie theatre.
That music was in the Zelda Twilight Princess reveal at E3. “Shields will shatter,” was one of the big statements and of course that game delivered. Some of the best/unique combat implementations.

that game in the video is actually real. some dude has been working on it for a few years now and i have to saaaayyy,.... that dude has talent because HE HIM SELF MADE IT ALL ON HIS OWN!!!!!! but i would like the OOT and MM to be recreated as it was BOTW. meaning large size map. OOT and MM is to small in every area of the game. if they would expand it as they would with BOTW in every area like fire, water earth etc it would make the game really cool.

I think they'll give the same reason that Todd Howard won't remake Morrowind. Sure there's the remaster in the 3DS, and I hope they port it on the Switch with MM, but it at least captured the identity and feel of that particular Zelda game. You have to play it as the creators intended it to be; a remake won't get that same feeling as the original since it will be compared to BotW and would have met the same standard. Many people would compare a remake of a Zelda game to the likes of FF7R, which is loke comparing apples to oranges. Remaking it would have changed the canon since it will have to expand its lore that might contradict established ones within the Zelda timeline and in the story itself, the latter would make the theorists speculate on contradictions from the original that might indicate a whole new timeline.

Also the game was technically remade for the 3DS, but the resolution wasn't good, despite that everything else looked great.
That’s what we all said about Mario Galaxy and here we are, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility. Hopefully they do it, ocarina of time is such a good game, except the water temple

I wouldn't be surprised if they remade the game on a future console, considering the hardware of the 3DS means the games already need a remake again

Let's face it, even if the ocarina of time was remade for the switch, a Nintendo official loz unfortunately wouldn't look that good.

Tf? The character models and animations are pretty mid(which is okay, considering, that this was probably made by one single person). They would look times and times better made by Nintendo, which makes these games immersive to begin with. The rest would look as good, but probably with another artstyle. Everything besides the lighting of course, because the Switch can't handle that.

@@ma.jbrony1754 It is fake. They are reusing pre existing models from the 3ds version and Hyrule Warriors game. Also in some areas, I can spot the animation for characters is choppy and wouldn't have been approved for an official remake. The font is also off.

Of course, you also can't forget about The Wind Waker HD. It's really just a matter of WHEN, and I definitely think the anniversary is the right time.
A Skyward Sword remake is all I ask for. It could very well be Grezzo's next Zelda project, so we shall see.

@@vrepitsa1083 No, the 3DS Remake of OoT is a complete and very good remake of the game, wish it was ported to the Switch honestly. This remake isn't done since only one guy is making it and Nintendo trues to protect their intellectual properties as much as possible, including stopping non-profit labors of love made by fans.

An official Nintendo remake like this for OoT never being made would literally have to be one of the dumbest things possible. There’s really no excuse to not make this happen soon, it would make a lot of profit, and it’s arguably one of the best games of all time. Why would Nintendo not remake Ocarina of Time with these graphics, and if it’s due to the switch not being able to handle it then they need to upgrade their software. My point is if any game deserves a remake with better graphics like this it would be this game. The ds remakes of this, and Majora’s mask is cool, but it’s not the same as this quality on an actual console.
"Updating software" won't give you that much of a performance boost.

I just died a little inside from the realization that it was too good to be true.
Nintendo has taught me, mainly with that Mario 3D Allstars, that they will only bump up graphics a smidge. This remake from the fake trailer would be an amazing boost in graphics but way beyond the effort Nintendo would invest in something they will still see profit on with minimal work.
I actually believed this at first, but I was in extreme denial, then I saw the comments, then I saw that this wasn't even Nintendo's official channel, and I saw that this wasn't even on trending, so in other words. _you almost got me there, why you gotta play with my heart like that man?_ lol

That would be too cool! If it's something a majority of us fans want, Nintendo won't do it. They only give you what THEY THINK you want instead, like a remake of a Gameboy game or something much lesser than you hope for. That has been and always will be the Nintendo way.

This must be even thousands of years before the “ancient” time in which the Sheikah built the Divine Beasts which as we know is 10,000 years before the Great Calamity which itself is 100 years before Breath of the Wild.
we all know a hypothetical switch OoT will just be the 3ds OoT. I'm just going to assume that like they did with their super mario collection, it'd have an lua script based system in place to make certain textures look slightly less worse.
Nice Unreal engine re-make, using the music from the E3 twilight Princess presentation and a very professional fan-made trailer, I'm pretty sure a lot of people fell for it, not me though, I know my stuff 😎😎✨
I feel like this deserves a like except that he lies and says that it is actually coming out on February 5 and gets some people to actually think it is real.
