Black swan is one of my all time favorite movies. Natalie and Mina killed their roles! Can't think of anyone better.

A very well done film. I was invigorated and interested the entire time. Not only did this remind me of myself, it embodied mental illness in a light many people haven't seen before. I enjoyed it and I will never forget it.

The film was good because it attracted attention towards ballet, but it was very disappointing that no one gave credit to the ballerina who actually performed the dance excerpts and on whose face was superimposed Portman's. Someone should have given her credit: she was the real ballerina in the movie. Neither Portman nor Kunis could have performed at that level.
But Portman tried realy hard do learn a little dancing, she invested lots of time an her own money I think there is no need to argue about her skills - she cannot compete with any professional dancer. I am not realy sure if i like this balerina, she had a subtle arrogance. Portman is an actress, not an ballerina. She doesn't need to pretend to be one. But she is the wife of Benjamin Millepied, so she possibly knows how ballet works.
80% of the dancing was done by Natalie Portman.

i find it funny that both of you are having an argument over who is more pretty when in real life, there is so much more things to worry about. Why should it matter that natalie is naturally more pretty than mila? I know it's your opinion, but it's a pointless opinion. Like who cares. It's not a big deal. just saying my opinion, and Mila Kunis is on sexiest women lists not the most prettiest, I agree that Mila is more Sexy and literally perfect but take all of that makeup away and Natalie looks way better, shes a natural beauty. and also Natalie Portman is on them lists too

I looked up reviews on the black swan before I got it, and people were freaking out about all the sexual things that happened in it. So I was expecting it to be really bad in those ways. It was a great movie, the sexual content was a tiny part of the film, people clearly didn't understand what the movie was actually about.
It is a brilliant film...but THAT scene with Natalie and Mila is probably one of the most sexually graphic scenes I've ever seen in a mainstream film. Not that I'm complaining 🤣🤣😛

But the shots of portman dancing are just close ups of her face while she flaps her arms. None of the pointe work and actual dancing are her
I wouldn’t say face shots with some arm movements is really dancing.
She wasn’t filmed on pointe once. She had a year of training….doing upper body movements. But yet the media bragged how she learned it all in a year. Which is impossible. And that’s why her double came out after she won the Oscar saying that all the actual on pointe shots were not Natalie and didn’t want people to think you can learn that in a year.
I still absolutely love this movie, but I noticed heavily how every time Natalie was dancing it was ONLY close ups. Her acting in this was amazing though. Definitely deserving of the Oscar.
I can't believe she dislocated her rib and that scene was real! It always felt the most painful to me. She did an amazing job!
no matter what the movie is about or how well it's made or whatever... the sex scenes will always be the centre of the conversation!

4:34 - It *totally* happened for me. Black Swan is seriously a master film. It makes me Top 3 Favorite Movies of All Time List easily, and that is saying something, for me, at least.
The quest for perfection is this film, and this film is perfection.
Pretty admirable that he approached the sex scene issue so maturely and took it seriously and wasn't all "LOLZ LEZBIAN SCENE SO HOT OMG WAT AS IT LIKE."

I freakin loved this movie, I am more of a action movie shootouts, persuits kind of person but I do love a GOOD movie. And seriously the sex scene was SWEEEEET

im not an 'obsessive' fan I like them both the same, but I think Natalie is pretter than Mila with no makeup just because it doesn't suit your opinion you don't like it. and im sure your saying that mila's pretty cause of a picture you seen in the media so keep it shut unless you have something worth explaining.
