  • First time at this great circuit with some friends. Had a bit
    of fun with some mates in 991 Cup Cars. Overall more time
    to be gained and defo need to revisit this circuit again.

    I just love Vipers, especially the ACR.

    This was great Strad. A cup car is crazy fast on a circuit even against high hp cars. The fact that a stick shift, full weight ACR with 820hp can keep a cup car at bay is really incredible. A cup is a full on racecar with super light weight, DCT ETC.
    Only other vid of yours I’d put on top of his one was the vid of you actually staying ahead of two Huracan GT3 EVO’s for some time.
    Keep ‘em coming. Stay safe.

    Gotta love seeing them shrink in the rear view when you go full throttle.
    Best ACR track content on youtube 🤙
    Have you had the chance to practice the Nordshleife some more?

    not that i'd really want them to have fun, but these cars with a DCT would be absolutely nuts

    Fascinating to see how differently they go about it. Only seem to gain in brake to apex (a lot).

      Yup. That's where you would expect a lighter, automated gearboxed race car to gain.

    Will you give the viper a PPG sequential manual in the future? I think it is good for for clutch-less upshifts, but maybe still needs heel-toe downshifts.

    Nice to see you're getting a little more active now, love coming to your channel every now and then just to listen to that noise and watch you!

    950Nm from 9L. Super result. What is your redline compared to stock Viper ACR?

    Very cool that you can stay with them. Was everything else stock besides the 9.0L stroking?

      Think they're staying with me.. 😉 Yes largely, other bits stock

    Does the extra grunt in your Viper help at Magny Cours? Or would your Viper do about the same before? The straights do not seem too long.

    • @realstradman
      @realstradman  Год назад

      I think the extra grunt does help come out of the corners once you hook up. And yes straights are long enough to pull an advantage

    When doing a 9L swap, do you need to address clutch by getting a triple plate? If so did you go with the Nth Moto triple plate?

    • @realstradman
      @realstradman  Год назад +1

      Yes I did although not sure it's essential

      The stock clutch is fine, the Nth Moto clutch is 17 lbs lighter

    Definitely not stock power if it has 800+ hp 😅
