you are so sweet and you know your Judy! look for ‘cottage for sale’ ‘come rain or come shine’ version where is in poppy dress, ‘san Francisco’ from 1962 special and ‘what know my love’ from perry como show.
Jufy was also an amazingly talented dancer, comedienne and mother to her 3 kids!!! I heard she was a great cook as well. Judy is the best!!! Love her!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Once in a lifetime talent, really once in a century. The best singer in the movies, one of the best dancers and one of the best actors. The original triple threat. A combination of talent and ambition and opportunity that we won’t see again.
PS: It isn’t much of a stretch for her to create a character around the song. She was done dirt by a lot of guys in Hollywood.

One of the greatest concerts and concert albums of all time is Judy’s Carnegie Hall concert in April 1961. She brought the house down. I highly recommend a listen.
If you love Judy's version of this song, you will go BERSERK over her version of 'You' ll Never Walk Alone'. Pure, unadulterated, MAGIC. The woman was truly spellbinding.

Two suggestions: her singing Battle Hymn of the Republic on her show just after JFK's assassination and (the Carnegie Hall version of) "Come Rain or Come Shine."

I love watching you love Judy! Unmatched as a singer. Legend! And also a brilliant actor. Totally alive and vibrating with her unspoken thoughts, even in the simpler movies like the Andy Hardy films. One of my all time favorites is For Me And My Gal. Beautiful performances from Judy and Gene Kelly in his first movie. And she dances up a storm with him. And of course Meet Me In St. Louis! Absolutely radiant and sings songs she made into classics.

You should react to her daughter Liza Minnelli singing "But the world goes 'round" in the movie "New York, New York". Absolute stunning vocals !

I might suggest that you put the performance on the big screen and you on the smaller. It's a better effect. And when you are giving your commentary you can switch back so you are on the big screen.
The gift was too big for Judy. The same with Whitney. I think only Barbra could handle the gift.

This is Great BUT..Judy is Not in her vocal Prime here. Her voice had sustained some vocal stress/damage in the early 1960s and it wasn't quite as bright in this performance. Still, beautiful.
Her voice got damaged in Hong Kong. When unfortunately her stomach was pumped. It happened after the series was canceled

Streisands version is excellent. Yet to see Gaga's. Assuming it a decent film.
