3:39 just a correction its Tre Jones not Tre Mann. Loved the vid brother very excited for the coming season. I think we go for a future point guard in the next draft which is stacked with fantastic guards, Castle I don't think will be a traditional point or the ballhandler we have for the future, he'd be a current jrue holiday at the best (which would be great). He could even be slid into the SG role instead and Vassell to the 3. Wemby can theoretically cover the problems there defensively. If Castle were in next seasons draft he would've been picked further behind a lot of the guys coming up.
Damn I missed that smh
They're a play-in team AT MOST. Thunder, Nuggets, Wolves, Mavs, Suns, Pelicans, Kings, and grizzlies are all better than them. Spurs warriors lakers and Rockets are all a toss up.
the video isnt about the spurs being insane next year, its ab how this year they are growing a proper foundation and system around wemby for the long haul, they have all the assets in the world plus acquired 2 firsts as well on draft night. what the video is getting at is that the spurs are building something special for the future (as we all see)
Agreed, but definitely won't count Wemby out, I think he's due for a monster season and gonna do some real damage.
If the Spurs pass the ball like the 2014 championship team did or learn how by the end of the season. they could become the team to beat. Why? Because superior passing is THE MOST important part of the game and the biggest determinant as to who will win.
@@kelleyeidem667 Defense is pretty important too come playoff time.
At least, not at most. Be in for surprise.
Wemby is going to explode in his second year, both offensively and defensively, that's GUA-RAN-TEED.
But the overall team is top 6-8 tops.
they're definitely not top 6. probably 9 or 10
Damn I missed watching this freak of nature.
Just so we’re clear, I hate Zach Collins
ME TOO
Give the guy a break, our team weren’t doing anything last season anyway
I doubt he cares. 😂
If Wemby was playing with LeBron, then maybe. But Spurs is not even a threat right now. Wemby won’t even win DPOY or MVP because Spurs would be a 10th seed, at best. Because GSW and Memphis would be right there fighting for a play-in spot.
after telling me we got Paul to feed Wemby and Wemby has GOAT potential, and after Wemby stopped Giannis at the rim and showed he can match up with Jokic, AD, Chet et al, after telling me all that and more you are quite certain Spurs wont actually compete at all this year and maybe for several years. WHY NOT??? They have the D in Wemby plus Sochan, Castle and Paul all lockdown defenders. De-fence wins championships, plus who can stop the Paul to Wemby lob at the rim?? Plus and a big one is that Wemby showed over and over how he will step it up in the clutch, down 17 to Denver roars back with 17 points in 3 minutes, in 4th quarters all year and oh, the Gold medal game he was ready to win until Curry went crazy!
Tell me you are a casual without telling me you are so casual
Devins out for the start of the season now, due to surgery
Do you know what surgery he had and when he will be back?
Foot surgery@@amandswright2040
@@amandswright2040foot surgery but he should be cleared for contact by the start of preseason and will probably only miss a few games.
@@coachtimmeh6826 He's gonna miss the first five games of the season Spurs said
Spurs 81-1 this season
Bro is drunk💀 time to put the henny down man
Tell me you don't know ball without telling me you don't know ball. 🤡👋
I believe it Wemby is THAT good, I suspect they lose 1 gamr to wizards or hornets randomly
@@dvdv8197he knows ball
@@dvdv8197 ever heard of second degree?
CP3 + Barnes + Vassel + Osman...they're gonna be a threat from beyond the arc and open up the paint for Wemby. Their record is going to look very different from last season
Cedi doesn’t play for us anymore he went to Europe
Nope. Another disappointing season for the spurs AGAIN!
The spurs guards needs to take a semester of Manu's passing and awareness class haha
Chris Paul biggest plus to this team is exactly stuff like that
I'm calling it. We'll have atleast a 17-game winning streak around december-january.
You are extremely kind to CP3, a 6.8 to 1.3 assists to turnover ratio is MUCH closer to 5 than to 7 (5.23 exactly ;-) Nice vid, thanks!
The Thunder and Nuggets and Suns And Mavs and Kings and Grizzlies and maybe the Wolves are better but they just trade KAT for Randle and Divinceno and picks .
They’re not a contender yet, Chris Paul might have a statistical bounce back year, I’m predicting somewhere between 10/4/7 to 13/4/10 but this is still a 7-10 seed team depending on health
Sorry bro, kings fan here…. Love the vid and the Harrison Barnes trade for you guys…. But Barnes regressed last year… not because of any one thing. Just regressed. He had the same 3 ball handlers and coach in front of him the year before…. Just getting older and it happens. Still a good vet for you guys tho
I know I saw tre Jones n devonte Graham both run the guard position at the end of the year against solid teams and look capable. Add another year in Blake's development, put Jones on the second squad and start CP3 who saw a team good enough to compete. OKC, Dallas, Wolves, Suns, Kings, Lakers.... Baring any major injury should all be fighting for those top six.... And everyone else will be just a short distance behind....only two teams like usual will separate themselves to a five or so game lead heading to the playoffs but everyone else in the West will be separated by single or double game leads ....example OKC & Dallas 51 or 52 wins this year Portland and Utah anywhere above 25 and lower then 35 ..... Every one else dancing in the 40's somehow someway it's gonna look CRaZy 🤣.... Alien in the Mask👽.... AND U SAYING SPURS WONT BE COMPLETEING FOR A COUPLE YEARS ....😂 .... Watch this year myfriend.. Go Spurs Go
0:47 ayo what the commentator say😂😂
He consumed it is wild out of context💀💀💀
Cp3 is the opposite of scary. Teams be excited to run a train on him
LOL they said the same about the Clippers last year😂 see how that played out😊
I think Houston vs San Antonio are going to tops in the west soon
6.8 assists/1.3 turnovers is rlly abt 5 not 7
5:27
They usually round it closer to a whole number before doing it, but i do get what you mean
Lmao cause CP3 is in his prime right
Spurs need Kyrie Irving
Great video man
terrified?
okc, dal, min, mem, hou, den, lac, no, sac, phx, gs, lal, are all better than san antonio
how tf is memphis better than the spurs?
@@Ptally JA, JJJ, Bane, plus guys like smart, gg, vincewillians, aldama, edey.
they were only bad this year becaude of injuries and ja's suspension
Can you please explain why a for-profit entertainment business like the NBA should be 'terrified' if one of their teams plays well?
That makes no sense. Stupid clickbait title
Not talking about the NBA as an organisation but about the teams which compose it. That's a synecdoche and your take is stupid too.
Thompson William Gonzalez Richard Wilson Jason
With the experience from the past season, wemby is going to start cooking
They'll have spurs of greatness but also a lot of lows, imo.
Might make the playoffs, but won't necessarily be a huge factor in it.
YES, MAYBE MAKE PLAY OFFS VIA THE PLAY-IN
Exactly Chris Paul turns 40 in May, time to stop acting like he’s in his prime, he’s not the “point gawd” anymore. Best case scenario he has a Jason Kidd 08 season and averages 10 and 10
FIRST!!!!
Cp3 is cooked.
I like me some 7 assists 9 points 4 rbds per game cooked PG that will help coach & mentor the young pups
@@claude_k yea, thats not "terrifying the league". Plus Cp3 cant stay healthy. Cp3 is a backup at best.
@@vindigga6 Backup is fine, it's not like they are contending for the probable single season he's gonna be there... I don't think they hired him first for his playing time.
@@claude_k the title of the vid was, "the leagie is terrified" thats what my comment pertained too. Is cp3 a productive pg still? Sure. But that doesnt make the spurs terrfiying.
@@vindigga6 You're right, they are not terrifying. They'll need a few more pieces before they get there, or maybe just a few years. Looking forward to that either way :-)
