Yes, Included in the box should be a ribbon to sata adapter to mount a slimline 2.5" disk. Alternatively you might have a bigger battery that will take up that space. Cable: FX506/706 HDD FFC

I ask because I'm thinking of switching from my ph 315 54 to this one because the charging port/mosfet broke 5 times within the same first year of use and I really don't want something that breaks all the time like that.
If replacing the SSD in the 1st slot, do you need a metal strip attached to the SSD itself (the original SSD has some type of metal strip attached to it) and do you need to put it in the aluminum sleeve that the original SSD is in?
Probably not. I'd say the strip and the sleeve are there to protect against an accidental short. As long as you avoid poking the SSD with your screwdriver you should be fine.
You basically just need to know the Gen of the PCIe slot and more importantly the form factor which on this laptop would be: - PCIe Gen 4 x4 - M.2 2280
Do you know how much max RAM and SSD capacity this model supports? Official site says 32 GB max RAM and 1TB max SSD. However upon contacting Asus support they confirmed this model can support 2TB. The only way to confirm this is to install more than 2TB SSD and more than 32 GB RAM
I've heard that some ASUS F15 laptops from 2021 have 4 RAM slots. Is this possible? When I checked my laptop's Task Manager, I found that it indeed has a total of 4 RAM slots, with each slot having a maximum capacity of 32 GB of RAM. Using the command prompt, I identified the maximum capacity of my laptop's RAM, which turned out to be 134,217,728 kilobytes. I then divided this by 1,048,576 to convert it into gigabytes, and it turned out to be a total of 128 GB-the maximum RAM capacity of the system, consistent with having four RAM slots.
the task manager shows that there are 4 ram slots but actually there are only 2 ram slots, if you want to upgrade ram then you have to replace the existing ram sticks
quick question, I know it has 2 physical RAM slots, but mine only says 1 of 4 slots used. does that mean I have 1 free slot or both of them are occupied?

What specs are the RAM? Are they DDR4? Or let me know the model of the Acer I can look it up for ya.

I would be more concerned with the voltage rating. The 90wh ones I could find are closer to 15v, whereas the 48wh ones are rated at 11.8v.

1 ssd slot supports 1tb and the other one also support 1tb ssd. so 2tb in total

I think there should be only 2 physical slots that are actually wired. The other two are maybe just templates on the PCB and not physically usable.
