- The release of the 20th anniversary Armor in Rift Apart inspired me to create this Fan Made concept trailer of what a potential follow up to ratchet deadlocked would look like on the PS5.
Insomniac should make an online DreadZone game with rift apart mechanics. Just saying

Deadlock was just so different from the other games. It’s one of the main reasons I loved it so much it actually felt more mature and that the stakes were high compared to other games
The different mods you could put on any weapon and the fact you could choose which mod you want is the big thing for me. I thought that was going to be the system they use moving forward, but I was a bit sad when the next game came out and that wasn't the case.
It didn't have that adventurous story of the other games but the fighting seemed way more intense and made for more hardcore gamers
It honestly felt more competitive and pulse racing than any of the other games. Not saying it was better but it was different and I loved it
If you go back and play the original ratchet and clank 1&2 it’s surprisingly mature man!!! It’s what made it work so well... it’s unfortunate that the remakes have dropped this maturity completely in favor of bland family friend stuff.
Also, eternal PlayStation exclusive has insured that I will never get to play them again.... I hope who’s ever decision it was to do exclusive shit is struck by a meteor just large enough to give them a massive welt and permanent scarring for that level of greedy.
The weapon leveling system was the best out of all the Ratchet games. I miss it very very much. It was the hardest Ratchet game too.
This world needs a Ratched Gladiator remake and second game tbh. Absolute gems of the franchise.

Only if it's the old school style of Ratchet. The new stuff nowadays just don't have the same kick to it.

Deadlocked was my actual introduction to R&C and to edgier and more "violent" games as a whole. Man, what a hell of a birthday present it was!

i know, its almost sad the game wasn't as dark and edgy as it intended to be... i mean there were dark moments, and it had a Edgy feel, but... i guess now being older, i kinda now wish Ratchet was alittle more... well brutal, like, most of the beginning of the game is still the same, Ratchet trying to be Light Hearted about his situation and Clank trying to get him to take this seriously, well, i like to think after Big Al gets shot and Ratchet gets Shocked from the Coller, maybe say for Ace's Fun he zaps Clank when he puts it back on, and Al gets sent to get his Prostetic's, Ratchet, kinda takes it really hard, even Clank can't come up with a way to lighten the situation, and so, after Ratchet says that light with Clank Agreeing, Ratchet then decides, if Dreadzone and any of its Fan's wanna believe those stories Dallas and Juanita made up, then he will make them believe it, and so the game would take a much darker turn as Ratchet, well mainly in cutscenes, plays along with the stories... say Ratchet has Clank hack the Feed of the News and tells the 'Real' Story's the two made up... maybe we get certain lines from the Secret Agent Clank game that would be changed to fit into Dreadlocked, we would even get the Cutscenes of Vox and Ace in Vox's Office being surprised at one of the news videos Ratchet talks in, one of them being how he bascially destroyed an Entire Planet that was for the Blaarg and then says he's thankful Dreadzone sent him to there home planet to 'finish the job', Ace himself is kinda freaked out about this, even muttering if he has some screw's loose from the shock he got... but since we would know Ratchet is 'playing along' at the end of this, he would make a Galactic wide message saying sorry to everyone, and during the Final battle with Vox, Vox wants him to become the new owner of DreadZone, because of his new Ruthlessness and such, but Ratchet doesn't, saying he played along

Deadlocked is still my favourite Ratchet game. It was dark, the characters, the story, the atmosphere and along with the soundtrack, the whole idea of the game was so dark driven it put me on edge a LOT. It was also the first Ratchet game that had co-op in the story mode. If you were a kid back then, this was the game you'd have spent DAYS playing with your sibling. Absolute masterpiece of a game, if a PS5 remake came i'd buy it no matter the price. I'd wanna witness how The Harbinger would look with todays graphics and animations.

This absolutely spectacular, Deadlocked was my very first Ratchet and Clank game since I was six. This masterpiece makes me love Deadlocked and Rift Apart a whole lot more and I've been loving both at the same time before.
Ratchet and Clank Deadlocked was my first game and made me a Fan of the whole Franchise😃

I would love to see what Rivet’s dimension’s version of dreadzone looks like because I can imagine it being either better or even worst then Ratchet’s Dreadzone

XD since Emporer Nefarious in her universe basically rules... about the entire universe (tho even if it was the plot of A Crack In Time, i doubt he has control of the Great Clock... i mean if he did then this game would never have even happened, that or the Great Clock is out of phase with Time, enough to still do its job but enough to not be found or... something) i like to think the Dreadzone in Rivit's universe was a past time her Nefarious liked, but then destroyed it because it got boring... but hey, he would have followed the rules that Vox said would happen if the show got Boring so... also if Rivit actually ended up in Dreadzone, i like to think her Armor was Blue and white, to Ratchets Red and Black one... and hey if her arm was robotic then i wouldn't be surprised if it had lots of Spikes, even had Claws for its hand rather then a normal hand

I honestly thought that this was a trailer for a new game, you definitely fool me! Though the idea of Ratchet Gladiator (or Deadlocked, depending on where the game was released) being remade with all the new material actually sounds amazing. A similar concept to the original game, but with so much more thanks to the whole Rift Apart stuff. If something like that ever does get made, I just want my 2 robo-bros to be included as well. It's been years since I played it so I don't remember their names, but they definitely were a highlight of the whole game.

I started this video and was beyond excited, thinking it was official. It's so professionally made and looks like a trailer for either a new game or a DLC for the R&C PS5 Rifts Apart game. I need this emailed to whoever is in charge of planning projects at Insomniac effective immediately. I don't even own a PS5 and seeing this actually made me consider beginning the impossible journey of obtaining one.

You ever had those days where your parents reward you with a trip to gamestop but it was during the times when you dind't have a new game in mind so you just went off the cover? That's how I discovered this game and I still replay it from time to time.
Ratchet: Deadlocked is unique. It managed to bring a new atmosphere, darker and more interesting. If a PS5 remake were to be made, it should preserve that atmosphere.
I grew up with the Ratchet&Clank series Deadlocked being my first entry to the series so I hold that game with great love flaws and all, thank you for making this amazing fan-made trailer it shows there plenty of fans like me who love and appreciate Deadlocked.

The Vox clips are laser accurate pulls, the exact wording a sequel of this type would have, or should have if they know what they're doing.
I would buy “DreadZone Online” in the same it takes for a quark to collide and form a sub-atomic particle
The two robot companions from the previous dreadlock game weren't there, it's actually one of the main reasons why I liked it

Deadlocked was the first Ratchet & Clank game me and my brothers played growing up it's good to see that it's coming back with a remake
Ratchet deadlocked was so awesome 😫 pretty good story, awesome upgrades and gameplay. Almost a dark twist on the rather colorful exploration aspect the rest of the games had. Many memories with this one
I hope we get a remaster of deadlocked with multiplayer and new levels

Yooooo, this looks absolutely INSANE!!! You actully hsd me fooled for a second there thinking this was either a new game or just really good community fan art, but i'm not disappointed this was more in the middle of those! I really hope this is a sign that Insomniac has finally stopped seeing Deadlocked as a mistake and bring it back one way or another!

I think it would be a good idea if insomniac does a remake of ratchet deadlocked not only pump up the graphics, but maybe even ad in the Contant they originally couldn’t because of time constraints.

Deadlocked was an amazingly simple idea. If it was a standalone PC shooter with online support, it would have a cult following, perhaps not on the level of Fortnite or TF2 but that of Quake 3 and Unreal. If we get a fan remaster, I would stream and donate in a heartbeat!

Deadlocked was one of the greatest games out of the whole series. I played it till I had 99,999,999 bolts (thanks to the money mod for the weapons)
Best story in any Ratchet and clank game ever, only one who comes close is 3. Much more stakes and engaging than current Ratchet kid plot.
Deadlocked is the only genuine T game, the trilogy is close to T in places but E10+ didn't exist until 2005 so they defaulted to T. The 2012 collection proves this.
