In terms of the drumming on the album, I wasn't too impressed. It fits the music, but it lacks the raw emotion I once heard in Joey's playing. It has nothing to do with who's better, but rather who fits the style better. Weinberg's playing is almost too perfect. Iowa was my favorite.
Joey Jordison just loved what he did and he was insane. I wish he didn't leave because even though he was sloppy. He was a great writer and drummer. Like how you can write and play "Eyeless" blows my mind. I love Joey

As far as i see it, he dont use a heel toe technique. He basically use his foot-joints to reach this kind of tempo. doesnt mean that this is a bad way, i do it the same :D but its a very good cover anyway ! :D
