Mouaz Moustafa says it's frustrating that SDF has not reached to Damascus to make a deal. Surely he can't be this uninformed. SDF has been calling for negotiations and peace for weeks. But they get rejected, because Turkey is pushing against having the kurds be part of ANY negotiation for a future Syria. They have been sending delegation to Damascus for a long time. But Turkey is pressuring HTS to not engage.
This has been the case for years. Turkey has done everything to deny them any access to negotiations.

Being a Canadian, I don’t see why Syria can’t have a Kurdish province within the State and allow it its own language, guaranteed number of seats in Syrian government, etc. Look it up, we have done it with dominant French Speaking Quebec, with their own language rights, legal system, etc., all under the umbrella of Canada. In fact, the rest of us Canadians gave, in 2023, to Quebec $13,316 million in equalization payments and $3,719 million in Canada Social Transfer payments.
So, if a country like Canada can do it … absolutely no reason why Syria can’t show some maturity and follow that model.

If however this is just another opportunity for Erdogan to scapegoat all of them as he labels them with no opportunities for change given to the rest of Syria and continue violence against them for political purposes, then the region will remain unstable and it may spread. I am not saying all the Kurds are innocent at all but look at the rest of the groups fighting for Syria. I mean come on, if you will give them a chance then you should give the same to the Kurds. and those people you're speaking for without knowing anything about the matter, they themselves want to be a part of the new syrian government, bc they're also Syrians themselves. the singular problem thats happening right now is the factions that has control over that are which is also being supported by the US, is trying to resist the reality, and shooting their own kurdish civilians in the streets who was requesting the union with the Syrian government. you need to understand the difference between a civilization and an ethnic group. Syria contains many ethnicities and religions and they're all united under the name Syrians (including syrian kurds) and all of them love it.

Turkey needs to give the Kurd territories inside Turkey and Syria and northern Iraq and help Kurds combine territories into a consolidated Kurd territory. Help them
create a Kurd territory in totality and even help them build their own country. It is better to build relationships, allegiances with them as allies. Turn the tide from conflict
to strong alliances with new neighbors. To be honest and let's be clear. Historically neither the Arabs nor the Turks have any legitimate claim to Kurd territories. Because
the Kurds are an Iranian nation. Even the Iranians should combine their Kurd territories with the other Kurd Territories, and Iran, Turkey and the new Kurd nation should build together
a strong allegiance together. The rest of Syria needs to be combined, and Syria should demand the Golan back from Israel for the illegal annexation based on UN resolution. Of course,
for that Syria should sign an Ironclad treaty with Israel, to never attack Israel and Israel to never attack or invade Syria. There is so much more that could be achieved by building for peace
with actual Justice. But I guess a lot of people are just blind with misplaced vengeance rather than really looking for Justice and then establishing peace.

Honestly, as long as the U.S. remains involved in Syria, the prospect of peace seems distant. The primary objective of the U.S. and Israel appears to be weakening any efforts toward peace and stability in Syria, as they perceive the country as a threat to Israel. However, if the Syrian people can come together in unity, it would be a positive step forward and great news for the nation.

    • @michaeldeierhoi4096

I think that is a presumptuous statement because from what we seen at least in the case of the US their main goal is to eliminate isis from regaining a foot hold in the country. I have seen nothing to alter that perspective. This spokesperson Mustafa also did not say otherwise.
As for Israel, I haven't seen any source that has enough evidence to say what their intentions are. The IDF has been busy destroying weapons in Syria that used to be under control of Assad's regime because they don't want it falling into the hands of a party that might threaten Israel.
It's too early to draw conclusions of how any of this will play out.

ASia(N) is the ancient Indo-European Hellenic term for autochthonous Indo-European West Asian IraniC word & people.
As well as Asian Minor (-> Anatolia) /Northern Mesopotamia and CavcAsia (-> Zagros/Pontus ). CavcAsia literally means in Indo-European mountainous Asia(n)Kurd (KurManc Khord/ Sorani Khord) are Northwest IraniC Indo-European people and always live in West Asia. It’s written in “Greek”(Roman name), in Roman and any other ancient mythology. It’s very easy to prove.
PIE originates in the Indo-European West Asian Near Eastern part of Indo-European West Asia, not the Indo-European West Asian European part.
Indio-European Europe is not a continent of its own- but it’s instead geographically, genetically, linguistically and culturally the most western part of Indo-European West Asia. The other part of Indo-European West Asia is the Indo-European Near East (Anatolia/Northern Mesopotamia and Caucasia (Zagros/Pontus up to Afghanistan/Iran borders).
The Middle East = North Africa + Horn of Africa + Southern part of Southwest Asian peninsula = Afro (Southwest) Asiatic people/areas started from the oldest one in North African, spreading to the Horn of Africa but also to the southern part of the Southwest Asian peninsula up to Southern Mesopotamia where the Afro Semitic live.
