Awesome Job Brother, I’m about to do this exact same project this coming weekend. So nice to now know all the socket sizes ahead of time. You have just saved me so much time! Thanks
Help! removed the link bolt and the arm it is attached to at the bottom snapped down i am now 2" to high can i force the bar down? Or do i have bigger problems?
I just had my 2010 Dodge Journey SE front shocks & struts replaced $1200 effing hundred dollars with Good Year.. $879 in labor costs effing outrageous .. They claimed i couldn't replace on my own not having compressor to compress what ever with shock.. I call bullshit..
Hey, Thanks for your comment/question. The installation is in reverse order as removal. The customer was waiting for the vehicle... I couldn't take too much time on filming. Sorry.

No problems. Thank you for your support.
That is made really clear. Thanks Jay!
Good job buddy definitely very informative
Great video, real helpful thank you. I've seen others but they complicate the process too much removing parts that you dont have to.
Thanks for watching!
Excellent video!! Thanks for this
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice video thank you for sharing !
don't you have to support the wheel hub while replacing the strutt otherwise it'll come out of the axel ?
Great job appreciate your help

Thank you for your support
Thank you 😊
What was the total time it took?
if the sway bar link nut does not give you problems....can get it in and out in less than an hour (30mins if you rush).
@@jaythemechanic4950 ok, because the dodge dealer said 4 hours. Mines a 14 front wheel 3.6L.
@@ccckelly . Thats extreme. I just one hour each side flat rate.
*charge*. Subscribe to my channel, I will be posting more videos of this vehicle soon. I think next job will be rear shocks.

thats crazy. Try to find an independent mechanic shop, stay away from the chain shops.
I think you skipped something my strut is still attached to my wheel
watch it again
Why not show how you put everything back together ... smh typically “mechanic”
