  • Happy #CelloTipThursday my dolls 💪🏻🎻! Today we are talking about ways to get left hand clarity when you have cords or a series of slurred string crossings. By plucking these notes, it will be obvious to hear when the left hand is not weighed enough into the string. If you need more left hand weight, avoid squeezing the cello neck from both sides. Instead, aim to have a slightly heavier left arm that pulls down on the neck, as that will free up the left thumb and avoid tension.
