Great video! I have two myself so can relate to the one you baby and one you tinker on. Great tips on adding cushioning to things… going to be adding some tubing to the front bumper soon…
This is a great video. I learned a lot. You have some excellent ideas. You mentioned the bumper. On thingiverse you download a file for a 3D printed bumper. I bought my MT10 used and I haven't had many problems. Two things I did was to replace the servo horn and servo. I asked Associated about a servo horn and I believe they told me the aluminum one from a DR10 and that fits perfectly. It's bent exactly right. My only issues has been stripping out wheel hexes. I think I mentioned it to you in the past and you told me to use lock washers. I am going to try that as soon as I can get the right size. Currently, I bought some extra hexes and glue them into the stripped out tires. I have seen racers who had a lot of aluminum parts as hop ups or for bling and they break more things.
Thanks! Good idea with hexes, quick way to get more life out the wheels. Lockwashers and nice fresh locknuts will probably help though yeah. And I went full bling on one of my first RCs, fun and pretty but other than a few key spots plastic is usually the way to. I like driving not fixing haha
I also had this car for about a year. I broke the a arms. Replaced them with rpm hasn't happened since. Yesterday I broke the chassis. I didn't think it was possible. Still the toughest truck I have.
