I haven’t even driven my mt10. But was gonna change motor. When I tighten the motor in the mount the pinion is at a slight slight angle to the spur gear. It’s the same when I put the stock motor on. I’ve bought more stock mounts and the aluminum one that M2’c had before. I don’t dare to drive it since I’m afraid it will strip. Is your also at a slight angle?
@@t3floz maybe the center diff is out of alignment? Hard to say without seeing what’s up, something else could be bent too. I would probably just strip it down and rebuild.
@ the thing is that it’s the motor who are at an angle. Wish I could show you in some way
Hit looked like three big kids having fun. The ground level slow motion shots were very good.
We made a specific body for the mt10 now🤘 just so you know😊
Normally, how much his shipping to the U.S?
Do you remember how many teeth the included servo horn has?
25 tooth
@shralpRC awesome, thank you!
Looking at putting one of the new g2r combos in a fresh build, that MT410 rips. Laid out the video nicely, you should have more views! 👍🏼
Asher did a great job as director. That is a great location. The onboard shots and slow motion shots were excellent. It appears the Traxxas drive shafts are doing well.
@@michaeldorich4485 thanks! And yeah shafts are still running smooth with no problems
The on board camera shots were great. I was worried about the jumps near the cement blocks.
Can't wait to see them in snow again
me too!
I enjoy the different camera angles. I thought shots when one truck was following the other was neat, and of course the slow mo shots were great.
You had some beautiful front and back flips. The slow motion shots are neat. I don't remember, do you have a fan on the motor.
Yeah I run a double fan mount with 2 hi speed fans. Sounds like a jet but would probably get much hotter without it haha...
@@shralpRC There's no doubt it would be a lot hotter without them. What batteries are you running?
@@michaeldorich4485 For sure. For the tekno I use a 4s gens ace redline 7500mah, and a 4s Tattu 4500mah, xt90 plugs.
Awesome video As always.🎉 Are you sending Basher Bidies (the mashine) To Switzerland 🇨🇭 would love to have the white one for my Rival MT10
@Shralp RC
Thanks! I don't sell them, but you can get at www.basherbodies.com, or contact the owner via the basherbodies facebook group at facebook.com/groups/675933929770577

Asher was great. You had some beautiful jumps and the Traxxas parts are still holding up.
Great video Sadly I cant order the (Basher Bodies the Maschine) To Switzerland 🇨🇭 Country not available

Nice.
That was a great test and the blue tooth functions were excellent.
Epic ! 🔥🔥✔️✔️
Hey, is there anything wrong with Team Associated's own steel CVA axle kits for the MT10? Part numbers AS25847 and AS25848
I heard they TA steel axles were pretty weak and tend to break, lots of complaints about them bending easily, etc. sounded like they arent very good so I wanted to find something better. I dont have personal experience with them though.
Hi, they are expensive garbage... I've lightly side hit a curbside and the endlink broke... For more is a stupid thing but you can not mount the original wheel cap... my two cent
@@starry1911 thanks for the damage report!
Nice rig. Did u made suspension modifications?
A few things yeah, proline shocks and messed with the mounts a bit to get more travel.
Fusion SE's in my crawlers, zero complaints. Looking forward to their smaller lineup for 1/18 & 1/24 scale.
Nice! Yeah they are good units for sure.
Nice ripper! I just subscribed to your channel. 👍👍👍👍
@@allscalerc hey thanks, appreciate it! Subbed you back, good stuff! 👊
@@shralpRC thanks much appreciated 👍👍👍👍
Whoa… are you the first to record a backflip pov? I mean… maybe not but I’ve never seen it before, looks great!!!
@@JakesRC-gm5fk thanks! I’m going to have to set up a better system and see if I can get a better shot
That was a good test. It was fortunate you could bend it back. I think someone once said" the good thing about metal is it bends and the bad thing about metal is that it bends." Does someone make metal steering knuckles for then MT10?
@@michaeldorich4485 haha that’s a good saying. Haven’t seen metal knuckles but the plastic have been ok, only broke one or two in the whole time I’ve had them.
@@shralpRC I contacted Associated and asked about metal knuckles. The person who responded said he would pass it on and thanked me for then tip. I guess that means no. I thought one from one of their other cars would fit.
That was a great test for the Traxxas driveshafts. They held up well. Maybe Associated will come up with some heavier duty driveshafts after they find out that people are using Traxxas parts. You probably know this. As I was watching your trucks in the air and as the wheels were spinning truck moved around. I either read an article or saw a RUclips video where it was explained how cars can be made to change direction in the air. It's similar to what professional motorcycle riders do. Good job and the bodies are amazing.
@@michaeldorich4485 thanks! Those driveshafts are pretty great so far. And yeah for sure, you can control the car in the air quite a bit, forward throttle to bring the front up(backflip), reverse to bring it down(front flip).
@@shralpRC There is away, I don't recall how, but you can turn an r/c car in th air. I'll have to see if Ii can find the article or vide.
Cool.
Not sure, but it seems that maybe you’re not aware of it, but the slash 4x4 FRONT axles fits the mt10 front and rear. People on the Facebook groups have been running them for a long time. Lots of options for slash front axles, including MIP. ✌️
@@noahblum2583 Yeah, I heard from a few people that the fronts were too short. Have you tried them yourself?
Great video. Where did you get the battery tray in the first truck?
@@michaelmackay9964 thanks! The tray is from Redcat Racing, part # 61006, stock part for the Volcano Pro EPX The HSP chassis needs one hole drilled for it to fit. www.redcatracing.com/products/61006?variant=30993673224282&?srsltid=AfmBOoqoYYyzKzYE51jSNX_a2u2dbVbNk0yHIs5aeJ9bJd2xPrcSVni2
Thank you for sharing your tests, conclusions and videos and music editing : great mood and feelings and that makes all the difference ! (it seems we can't read the testing video because it is a private link one ...)
@@mmhigh4449 thank you! I hope it is helpful. And the full test video will be out on Thursday, sorry I was just lazy and put the link in now so I wouldnt have to update next week… 😅
Any chance the tekno hubs could be used instead of the stock AE rival hubs?
I looked through the build manual of the sct 410 2.0 and the hub assemblies for front and rear look somewhat similar but if I had to guess the lower hub width might be different(where it mounts to a-arm)? Just trying to think around the problem of modifying that bearing seat inside the hub….
@@JakesRC-gm5fk If the tekno sct hubs fit, that would be awesome yeah. I might have to pick up a set to do some testing…
I have the max 10 3200kv combo in mine and it hasn't ever broken. You do bash harder than me. Been through a few spur gears.
@@chrisvda7277 nice! I’d like to try a 3700.
@shralpRC I ment the 3200kv so i edited my comment. The 3700kv has just been on my mind lol. Should be good. Iv heard other people run it. Could probably put a 12t pinion in it and just up it for 2S for track. Would at least be quicker and have more torque than the stock 3652 3300kv on 2s for racing. Could be a great option for my SC10 Pro4. I have noticed the new quicrun g2 motors seem to be a couple of grams heavier than the old ezrun g2 on the specs.
People have a a lot to say about Traxxas, but they do have some pretty stout parts that fit a number of other manufacturer's vehicles. I'm running their M4 endlinks on the rear of my Ascent Fusion, way stronger then the OEM Redcat M3 odball ones.
Right? They do certain things well.
I fucking Love your channel. You are the kings of 1/10 insanity
Best comment ever! Thank you 👊
Great tips. Thanks. I think it will help a lot of bashers.
I was wondering if the 3700kv motor would be a good option. Would be better on 2s aswell especially if your racing a Sc10 pro4. The new 3665 sensored motors to long for this chassis. Wish hobbywing made a 3660 sensored combo option
3700 could be fun, I'd be a bit worried about temps with my Rivals, with the basherbodies bodies and extra bits they are getting a bit heavy, 7.5-8 llbs all in, but if if can handle it it should be fast. And yeah it would be nice to have a small sensored motor option for sure.
Those tires worked very well. You had great camera shots underwater and in slow motion. I know you said you sprayed then truck with WD40 which I have heard of before wet running and in snow. I have also seen guys who claim that using WD40 on arms and other parts making them for flexible and breaking less. Have you ever tried that?
Thanks! I have experimented a bit yeah, I think you need to soak them for a while to get much benefit but it definitely makes plastic more flexible.
@@shralpRC It's good to hear from someone that has tried it and can verify it.
I've said this before, but your video and editing skill are top notch and you deserve more credit for it, keep up the good work 👍
Thank you, really appreciate it!
Dood, the wheelie on the water is nuts, so sick haha!
Epic content dude! Nailed those shots, and the crossings. Water wheelies!!
Wheelies in the water, looks awesome
That tire is too heavy for the driveshaft
@@smitheshn6637 I actually broke the majority of them on the stock wheel/tire. Only been running the prolines for the last few months, and didn’t break any til these 2 days. Been testing some stronger options and I think I found something that is pretty bombproof. I’ll have a video out soon.
Great video well done 👍🏽just a question what washers sleeves and screws you used for the front metal steering hub ? Having some issues with it. Cheers
@@CARLOSBEATBOX thanks! The sleeves I used are part# 02101, m3 screws that are short enough not to hit the cup but long enough to fully thread into the threads (use loctite but not too much, it can run into the bearing and seize it), and the shims and washers are from an assorted shim kit, around m3 size. Sleeves: www.rchobbiesoutlet.com/02101-steering-bushing-hsp-redcat-tyranno-himoto-etc/ Shim kit was something like this, can’t remember the exact size: www.amainhobbies.com/team-brood-4x6mm-steel-shim-assortment-w-plastic-container-28-bro-tbr-4x6ast/p1424602
Well done.
Nice 👍
Only thing I ain't broke on mine in 18 months is the driveshafts guess I'm lucky do you use the standard body posts with the basherbodie m8?
@@TheGazs1 haha nice! We all break different parts, but we all break parts 👊 And yeah I use the standard posts, but I had to drill new pin holes to fit the super thick body.
Your video is a message to everyone to carry spare parts when running your cars. The drift shots with the sunset in the background were great. I have come to the conclusion that over time and many runs plastic parts develop imperceptible cracks that after many hard hits they give way. Because, if you look at your previous videos the truck takes so much and then parts start to break after a lot of bashing.
@@michaeldorich4485 yep, it all broke at once haha…
@@shralpRC I've seen and heard that people will boil plastic parts in water to soften them.
@@michaeldorich4485 I’ve heard that too, but haven’t tried yet. Soaking or regularly applying wd40 is supposed to make things more flexible, might help too. I’ve got some different driveshaft options coming soon, hopefully one of them will hold up. I’ll do a video once all the parts are here
Bashing looks like fun, but man does it seem like the downtime is just brutal.. lol. Smiles per hour though! Just got an Arrma Mojave Grom, tons of fun! A nice change from the usual of crawlers for sure, but they just don't run for long haha. Nice video!
@@killertek78 haha this was not the typical breakage rate, usually I get a little longer between repairs… fun times though for sure! And the Mojave grom is awesome yeah! I have messed around with one a bit, it’s a great little truck.
Must have been one of the most unfortunate bashings haha. Do you have a special cleaning routine for your car? If so you could do a video about that while you are out of parts ;)
@@t3floz haha yeah good call! Maybe i will do that.
Ay buddy, I be Like'n your video. Keep it Up. Axe 🤐.
@@axelknyght thank you! 👊
That is a very picturesque location. You spent a lot of time in the water. I liked the underwater shots. What kind of maintenance will you have to do after going through all that water? Thanks for sharing.
@@michaeldorich4485 I just dry it out asap after, compressed air or a shop vac on blow works well for that, and sometimes wipe a bit of wd40 around before and after. I have the diffs and gearboxes mostly packed with grease too and that helps keep water from accumulating in there. And I check the bearing once or twice a year and just replace when needed. It’s fresh water so it’s not too bad.
