I cant find these on Amazon, but search ebay for "Lee Filters Swatch Book"
Can't wait till my Skmei and Casio arrive. The more of your videos I watch, more excited I get 😁
I really like the way that Skmei illuminates it's dial over the Casio's - the numerals light up in neon blue/green . They also have a Casio Mudmaster clone that you'd have to be a Casio expert to tell the difference externally for about 15 dollars USD .
Thanks for showing me what green would have looked like with the amber LED. Definitely going with all orange
Very educational, and enjoyable to watch. Just got my 1st AE1200WH1AKC thanks for the video.
Really beautifully done work, but also wonderfully done video!
Came from reddit
Thanks for this Michael. I used double sided sticky tape for my first so useful to see how to use superglue 👍. I have a natural affinity for anything sticky so both equally fiddly but I guess the superglue will give a potentially smoother finish.
👍
Actually, youre correct in using double sided tape. I just discovered it a few months ago, and think the tape is so much easier to work with (i also made a video about glue taoe on my channel).
Mod on my friend 👍🛠⌚️
Great video! Could you use hypo cement instead of super glue as I feel it would be a little more forgiving and potentially easier to remove if you made a mistake or wanted to re-mod and change colours.
It would've been great if you had used blue instead of green
So that it looks like ocean colour, also it will be having great visibility while using light
It's my birthday. Allow me to purchase this? Lol
Great tutorial.
lol
Stupendo lavoro, bravissimo!!! Un caro saluto dall'Italia da Patrizio!!!🇮🇹👋🏼👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
🙏🙏👊😁
Love this and I love my Casio ae1200s. I really want to make one a dress watch. Maybe the green case with a leather strap
Like your suggestion. If i find a good 18mm strap, ill post another video. Thanks for watching👌👊
@@watchncarry9593 The Timex Expedition leather strap is a perfect fit on these Casio's. At Walmart.
What is the glue called they use to stick SIM cards to the card packaging? it’s super sticky but can easily be removed by hand and probably reused if you misplaced it coz it retains its tack. You need a miniature guillotine to cut the filter plastic lol
can you recommend something to cut circular shapes out of the filter material for analogue watches? so it doesn’t look messy when looking through the glass
looks like it came out of a xmas cracker, but each to their own... I de-labelled mine & put Lee #104 just on the analogue aperture.
Hi! Great Mod! Which Casio Reference are you wearing?
Nice! Love to see a LED color swap?
you mean backlight?
Viktor indeed! Something like this. imgur.com/gallery/w8IvCEQ.
yeah, thats next on my list to learn. im looking around online for some tutorials
Tq so much for vedio, really ? battery last 10 years long ??
thanks a lot man
Could you put a filter over the digital time at the bottom? I was thinking maybe a red filter or the dark green over the entire inside to give a black/red or black green military theme. Then I would take the extra lettering off the case and the insert.
Never tried it over the main time, but can definitely be done. Once i get another base Casio Ill give it a try 👍

Thank you😁🙏👊
Just wondering, there are 2 swatch books. 1/4 and 1/2. Saw these on line and they don't explain the difference so do you know which on you have? Thanks love your videos, you are very knowledgeable and talented.
Appreciate the kind words.
I just looked through my Swatchbook and couldn't find anything about "1/4" or "1/2". Maybe contact Lee Filters to ask. 👍
@@watchncarry9593 Thank you really appreciate it.
Could You do a mod For the B650W ? The box is mate. I mean, getting this shiny, because it doesn't Match at allí with the bracelet. May be appyimg lacquer
Hey man, why not use those really thin double sided tapes? They work great for phone repairs, but I'm not really familiar with other applications.
Yeah, it's a really good suggestion.
So I used a couple brands of double-sided tape for a couple customers one time. And after a 3 months in very hot weather, the adhesive on the tape loosened and their filters fell off. So I had to remake it, and experimented with super glue. It's definitely a little messier to deal with, but so far I've had no customers report filters falling off that have super glue on them.
In the future I'm going to try some other brands of double sided adhesive tape and see if those fair out any better.
Which brand of double-sided tape do you use?
I use whatever has good reviews lol but prep work is always best like a little bit of sanding & some hot air after adhesive installation to get the adhesive to stick really good. Here are some good recommendations:

May I ask a question about the watch you're wearing? I put adapters on my ae1200 but how can you use a parachute/paratrooper strap with the adapters? The French paratrooper strap doesn't feed through the lugs/springbars. The springbars have to be removed to place a French paratrooper strap in place. Can you remove the springbars on those adapters?
Good question.
These are the adapters you want to use. The spring bars can be removed from the adapters

I'm using this out in the sun on the water (kiteboarding) and snowboarding. What color would you recommend for best visibility?
Hey man! Can one remove the yellow writing on the 1300 resin case? "Illuminator" and "10 year battery"? I saw it can be done on 1200 metal version with simply rubbing alcohol, but I don't know how this would work on 1300 resin.
Can the plastic screen be replaced with a mineral crystal? Have you tried it?
Good question. I haven't tried, but I'm sure it's possible. There's a guy on Instagram that actually makes these cases out of pure metal and sometimes replaces the factory glass with sapphire. I think his name is @kraniodesign
Hey are you using strap adapters on your Casio watch that you're wearing?
Yes, 18mm to 22mm strap adapters made by a friend on Instagram. Hes based out of indinesia and 3d prints and ships them out. Nice guy. Message him on Instagram at @@arlodji_arlodji
can you suggest me best code colour for red. thanks in advanced
It looks like Lee filters no longer produces these swatch books. They are out of stock everywhere I can find that carried them. Can anyone recommend a suitable alternative? I tried buying a set of 20 gel filter covers off of Amazon for $5.99 but they are textured to provide a diffused effect making them unsuitable for this project as they blur the details on the watch. I have a buddy who's a photographer so I guess he's getting a gift.
are the filters scratched?
Which strap you have on the watch you are wearing? Do you need some kind if adaptors?
Theyre 18mm to 22mm lug adapters. Ordered from Instagram user @arlodji_arlodji
What strap is on the watch you take off?
Unknown brand. Found on Aliexpress. Type of strap is a 22mm nylom Parachute strap in olive green with yellow pinstripe 👌
So those filters will only last a few months up to a year? I thought they were lifetime of the watch🤔
The filters are affected by UV rays. The will fade with time.
Does this affect the water resistance?
And how would I search for the filters on Google/eBay? (Without buying a huge deck like you have.)
Not sure how it affects water resistance.
As for the filters, ive written it in the description. The swatchbook in this video only costs $5. If u want to buy individual colors, youll have to buy a larger sheet which is more than $5
Is there any way to remove the "hour markers" on the analog watch display?
Yes, there are a few youtube videos that show how to remove lettering off the internal plastic masking using q-tips and Goof Off chemical
when i use acetone to remove the lettering and the plastic burns. Any idea where can i buy extra mask parts?
Im not sure where to buy spare parts, so u may just have to pickup a new watch.
When removing lettering, try using Goo Gone instead. I have a video on my channel on how to remove the case lettering.
👍
Where do you get these filters?
In the description 👍
Good idea but very unprofessional job, you scratched the films, you did not used gloves. Very poor quality.
Good points. Ill work on that as I always have room to inprove. But yeah, im pretty terrible in all my videos. You should check out my recent customer build videos...nothing but angry and dissatisfied customers and people in the comments.
@@watchncarry9593this is the first mod video I've found and I'm glad you made it
