Atchilles... I was going to call you on it, dork :-)
Good ranking, I never thought I'd see a Led Zeppelin ranking on this channel :-) Here is mine (I find they never made a bad album):
    1) Led Zeppelin 3 - This one grew on me over time to become my favorite one. Like you, I don't get why everyone tags this as their acoustic album, I mean, Immigrant Song, Out On The Tiles... great great rocking tunes. Out On The Tiles is one of my top-10 Led Zep tunes. I enjoy all the acoustic songs, and it's the first Led Zep album that is not so full of blues... it's the first one to sound more modern. I also love how John has a squeaky pedal throughout the album :-)
    2) In Through The Out Door - Holy shit, Carouselambra is my favorite Led Zeppelin song too :-) I adore that song... I love everything on this album, even the goofy Hot Dog... the rather incompetent solo I always thought was done that way on purpose.
    3) Physical Graffiti - Great double album, but yeah it's a bit long and tends to drift off in places... but great variety and showcases everything that was great about Zeppelin.
    4) Houses of the Holy - Another one that has grown a lot on me, like LZ3. Maybe not having heard these songs millions of times has helped keeping those album fresh, so that's one I go to a lot.
    5) Led Zeppelin IV - Many overplayed songs on this one, but still a very good album. To me it's like Deep Purple's Machine Head, Blue Oyster Cult's Agents of Fortune, Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast, Ozzy Osbourne's Blizzard of Ozz, Jethro Tull's Aqualung... the album that everyone knows, that while very good, I find somewhat over-rated. Nowadays my faves on that one would probably When the Levee Breaks and Battle of Evermore.
    6) Presence - Achilles Last Stand is the definite highlight here, one of Led Zeppelin's best. Some other good ones, but definitely a dip in inspiration on this one.
    7) Led Zeppelin II - I like everything Led Zep did, but I tend to prefer when they became more experimental, epic and folky... I appreciate their bluesy stuff more than I once did, but it's sometimes too drawn out and jammy for me on these first albums.
    8) Led Zeppelin - See Led Zeppelin II.
    9) CO-DA - Good out-take compilation, but it's easy to see why those were left out of the main albums. A good bunch of songs, Poor Tom has become my favorite of the bunch over time.

Hey Dan, I was surprise to see a ranking on Led Zeppelin. I did not know you liked them. Here is my ranking. 1. IV 2. Physical Graffiti 3. Houses of the Holy. 4. II 5. Led Zeppelin 6. III 7.Presence 8.InThrough the Out Door. 9. Coda
I would say that Physical Graffiti is the album I listen to the most but IV was my introduction to Zeppelin so it's got that nostalgia factor.

Awesome video, really! Led Zeppelin is one of my all time favorites but I absolutely got a huge kick out of your indifference to a lot of their work. Putting Houses at the bottom should rile em up, Hilarious! Not offended whatsoever, I know a lot of people that aren't into them. I'm one of those that don't care for The Beatles at all; The Rolling Stones, I only like the 80s era (Some Girls - Steel Wheels) so I'm super weird. As for the LZ catalog, most of the tired worn out songs, I don't listen to either but thankfully there's not much of that for me since I just never listened to the radio much. RE: Stairway, never got too overplayed for me really but I understand it is very much worn out, glad that I can still enjoy it even if it's overrated for sure. My love for LZ comes from having 2 older brothers showing the way in the 70s, when I was a kid (born '73).
My ranking, could change daily on mood really. I'd maybe give them all 4/5 stars or more:
4 - Just a monumental album, don't listen to it much but a milestone for me.
3 - the songs, just so good, the laid back style really lets it breathe. underplayed so my fave to go back to often
Physical Gr. - LZ defined, covers all bases, couple of less songs would be perfect
Houses - so many great songs, hard to pick
2 - Could be the best for some, truly fantastic album
In Through - always loved it, never got the disdain for it. Great songs yet again
Presence - good album with 2 of the finest tracks, other songs are dark horses but good
1 - my brother's fav but just not the big bombastic LZ I came to love yet.
Coda - so glad it exists and enjoy listening to it still, but clearly unfinished and songs aren't as refined

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback and for watching! Ya, i was born in 72 so i find it weird i never heard of them until 1984 (but i've explained why) LOL I am somewhat the same as you for the BEatles and Rolling Stones, but inversed... i love the BEatles but can't give a rat's ass about the Stones LOL

@@offthecharts2272 I'm the same way, I like to champion The underdogs as well, assuming it's good of course. You'd love this other RUclips channel I watch called The Contrarians. They respectfully debate classic albums and often their contrary opinion to the norm. It's led by a rock writer Martin Popoff.
