I think one of my absolute favorite books (because who can choose just one?) is The Ark by Margot Benary-Isbert. It was written in the early 50s and tells the story of a family in Germany post-WW2. The book gives such a completely different viewpoint - many Germans did not support the actions of Hitler, but were forced to fight, give up their homes, leave their lives behind, and after the war suffered the very real consequences of living in a country that was the loser in a world-wise conflict. It is a beautiful book, the first in a small series, and despite being about the aftermath of a war it is a very peaceful book for me.

If you're looking for an idea for your bottom ikea shelves- we use the bottoms for our littles (2&3) by putting wooden Montessori lessons on them (that way it doesn't look cluttered), but stuff they can access and so independently

I have really enjoyed the books written by Jennifer Weiner. My favorite from her so far is probably Little Earthquakes. It follows four different soon to be mother's/mothers and how they all eventually become a part of each other's lives. That's what I love most about her writing style is that she highlights a different character each chapter so that it also shows things from their perspective while also showing their own personal battles.
Growing up I always loved to read and would read multiple series books like the boxcar children, babysitters club and goosebumps. I don't feel like I have much time to really get into physical books now. I do still read shorter books online though. I also enjoy how I've been able to instill the joy of reading in my oldest child. She also enjoys reading a series and could read all day if it were up to her!
Thank you for this contest, I hope to win but whoever does is very blessed. ☺️ My daughters and I love your channel ❤️

My favorite book is the penderwick series! I have read a ton of books to my kids, which is big for me, I hated reading as a kid and honestly wasn't taught how to read very well, through my public school education, thus the need for homeschooling. I discovered the best thing ever...PHONICS! Now I really enjoy reading and even better I get to share that love with my boys! Its one of the many highlights of our day. Thanks for sharing!

This is a true Sophie's choice. Books are my jam. But I'm going to go with my childhood favorite because childhood me was fully committed to her favorite book unlike adult me who changes her mind on this topic all the time. Love my laminator too! It might be an unhealthy obsession, but who's judging? 😆 I love so, so many books, but the one I go back to time and time again is the Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes book that my Grandma read to me all.the.time. growing up. She watched us when my brother and I were little, and I have such fond memories of sitting on her lap and her reciting poems to us over, and over, and over again. 🥰 That's one reason why I chose to homeschool. I wanted to have that same experience reading with my kids, and the time and chance to do it. ♥️ Thanks for the giveaway!

Can’t pick a favorite book... but I did take a few years away from reading for myself when my kids were younger. Then I read The Nightingale and my love and need to read was back. I read about 25/30 books a year now and can’t believe I let it slip as a priority. Never again. I’m also very picky with what I read and am mindful of what I’m putting in my head. So it takes me so much time picking a new book😂 My favorite books are living history type books.

I love books. I love all books. I don't have a favorite. Even the bible I read a different version every year. I also love that our kids love all books as much as we do. I realize this doesn't exactly meet the requirements for the draw so Emma says Little Women. If we win, she'll get to pick the books.
    Love the series!

My favorite books growing up were the Mandie Series. My favorite to read to my kids now are the Junie B. Jones books. So much fun!

I don’t read for myself very often but my favorite book(s) I’ve read with my kids is the Little House series. We just started Harry Potter and we’re all loving it too!!

I absolutely love to read! My favorite book is To Kill A Mockingbird! I also, love classics like Jane Austen’s books, The Chronicles Of Narnia, Jayne Eyre, Swiss Family Robinson, etc. I also really really love The author Ruta Sepetys with her books “Between Shades Of Gray” and “Salt To The Sea”. These are teen novels, but are great as adult novels as well. They are fictional novels about true life events during WWII, with youth/young adult characters...... really really good!!.....

Ahh... A favorite book this is definitely a hard question! This year I have been reading books about Autism (trying to understand my daughter more) and The Reason I Jump has definitely been my favorite so far! I am a HUGE Nicholas Sparks fan and his book The Rescue is AMAZING!!

I love a lot of books! But... my favorite book right now is ‘See Inside Your Body’ by Usborne. My 5 year old has learned so much and I have learn alongside with her! It’s not part of our ‘school’ or ‘curriculum’ but just a book we read whenever... So many flaps and very interesting facts!! I highly recommend this book!!!

One of my favorite books ever is The Book of Negroes. Such a challenging read but so worth it. Also, I LOVE Usborne books and have been building our homeschool library this year with them.
