This is a much better kit than the one I got a year ago. Putting the lights through the front of the grille instead of having to replace the entire grille is so much easier..
One note, better to connect negative to a ground point not the battery. Some of the battery control systems such as the VVCS or the EPM (if GM) can get a bit, shall I say, upset. Also curious how these externals will work in a full brush auto car wash.
This is a great video and really helped with the instal but now I am having issues where my backup camera will not go on when I put the car in reverse. Any solutions?
@barkboys947 @zechthomas1305 @justinmansfield6091 in case y'all are still having trouble with this, the video is a great installation guide but doesn't make clear that the fuse you take out, you have to put into the add-a-fuse along with the fuse that's already in there (there's space for 2 fuses on it). That stumped me for a little while too.
Great Video! When using the mini adaptor are you just replacing the (1) 10 amp fuse that was removed with the one in the mini? What happens to the 10 amp fuse that was removed? Note: On the images from Amazon they show placement A starting to the left when facing the vehicle. Did you place A on the right side of the grille (driver's side)?
Hello. Correct. We tried placing A to the left but it wouldn't snap in. When we tried on the drivers side, it easily snapped in. Yes...just replaced the one 10 amp. Simply saved the original fuse as it was replaced with the connection that came with the lights. It overall was a very easy install. If it had been something we had done before, probably would have taken only 20 minutes. We spent the better part of an hour. Most of the time is just removing the covers, and reinstalling everything.
@@savillecreations8046 in order to make my backup camera work, I had to put the fuse I took out into the add-a-fuse along with the one that came with it. Without that, I had grille lights but no camera
Yes, you have to put a little side pressure on that blue clip when trying to slide that plug into the reverse lamp spot....plus my reverse lights don't work now when these raptor lights are plugged into the Rev lamp fuse spot.
Just completed install but now my rear backup camera and reverse light don’t work. There are two slots for a 10a fuse. Do I have to put the old fuse into the remaining open slot on the light harness that was just plugged into the reverse fuse slot?
You da man! Just got mine in and was confused on how to install these. Was it that simple? Did you set yours to turn on after turning on truck? Would like mine to turn on when lights turn on(i always have my setting on auto).
My son helped me but as you see in the video, it is pretty straightforward. Yes the lights are always on when the truck is on. I wanted it that way as well. The fuse we connected into is Active when vehicle is running. I believe...but double check...it is the same fuse that powers the brake lights. Hopefully you get it installed without challenges.
I dont know if you can help but this vid came up when I scanned the QR code and I cant find any mfg info to ask. when these are plugged into the 10a brake light fuse the led lights and brakes lights work but, my back up camera does not? I reinstall the original 10a fuse and back up camera works fine along with brake lights but of course no led's. The fuse box is real tight and it wont plug into the Clearance RH/LH position. Its a 2024 Frontier Thanks Chris
I am having the same issue. I think there's a video out there in youtube which shows that you will have to use both mini fuse connectors in order to make the back up camera work. The interesting thing is that if you click on the camera button, it works! I am confused myself, but I am sure there's a way
@@naterosas1466 I found some info on another site. Yes there should be two 10a fuses in the tap. One for the lights you are installing and one for the original one you are plugging into. I added the other 10a fuse and everything works fine. I did have to sand down one side of the fuse tap to get it to fit in the "reverse lamp" location otherwise it works fine. good luck

I was surprised how fast it was. Now that I've done it, would only take about 20 minutes a second time.
THANK YOU! I watched other videos that didn't help me with the fuse box confusing, but you guys got me on the right track. Appreciate it.
@@boosted_red8294 excellent. Glad to hear it.
This is a much simpler, easy and quicker install than the one I saw in another video where he had to remove the front grill.
I think I saw that video also. It really was simple. I should have done more details but just filmed as we went and unscripted. Cheers.
What lights do you have on the lower grille area?
Do you have an install video for the lights under the grill? thanks

I actually will be doing a wash soon...but good point, probably will stay clear of a brush wash. I do think they likely would stay in place.
Looks great! Will the lights fit on a 2024 Nissan Titan Pro4x grille?

Thanks for commenting. I didn’t have any issues with the backup camera. Thinking and hoping it should be a simple fix for you. Any luck so far?
I ran into the same issue. I'm going to try and find a solution to the camera problem. Any chance you figured it out yet?
yes. you cant use that fuse. your backup camera wont work

My backup camera would not work. So if I place both fuses will every thing work without causing any issues?
I am having trouble connecting to the fuse box it doesn’t seem to be able to reach?
