Thank you so much for the video! This is exactly what I've been looking to upgrade on mine! Just ordered them, should be here by the weekend, and i'll have them installed. Great detailed video, which will help me install them. Also, glad to see another local frontier owner, i am in BC also!
Hello, I'm new to this so on the fuse that you used you had no problems with any of the other lights? because I used the fuse like in the other video everybody talks about and it deactivated my back-up camera and back-up lights. Thanks in advanced
They look great! I installed a set this past weekend and was already waved down at a red light by another Frontier owner asking where I had found them as well as how much they cost. I paid $65 CAD (located in British Columbia) last month, but now I see they sell for $80. The only changes they could make would be to lose the outside lettering and thicker wiring for the power and ground.
I have a 24 SL 4x4 and I used the 10amp from the rear brake lamp but now my backup camera doesn’t turn on. Any suggestions on how to fix it or wire it up differently??
hello so i watched a video from the manufacture of these lights and they put the mini under the blue fuse right next to the white fuse block all the way to the right so when i turn my truck on they come on your way they won't come on with the auto lights setting but good video i have the 2024 pro4x and my battery is just a little different and I had to strip the main wire loom back cause the wire would not reach fuse panel
So what fuse should I use if I want them on when the car is on and off when the car is off. Also do they come on during the day if you have the lights on auto where you put the fuse
@Packerfan-qc6cs I haven't seen any in person but I heard people have been able to run the wires out the side by the battery similar to what I did. Then just tuck the wires tightly so nothing interferes with the shutters. A couple Facebook groups show photos.
The fuse I used will keep it on with the headlights and with the switch in the accessories mode. If you want it on all the time you'd have to go to the fuses in the cab of the truck and tap into one of the accessory fuses but im not sure which one it is in there. I believe all the ones under the hood will keep it on permanently if it doesn't get controlled by the light switch.
There is a smaller fuse box in front of the larger fuse box under the hood. There are several fuses in there that are always hot when the engine is running. That’s how I wired mine. So my lights come on every time my truck is running and go off when the truck is shut off.
I was thinking about it but I figured most probably don't have the Auxbeam. And now it leaves me 1 extra space to add more to the actual Auxbeam when the time comes.
@CanadianCruisin Ahh, so your almost maxed out on the Auxbeam? I think it'd be a good idea to know where exactly your connecting your aftermarket lights in the Auxbeam. Like what amp spot your using. Especially for those of us who want to get a light controller but know nothing about amps.. lol
@thekingkong209 I've used 3 of the 6 so far but I've got plans for the other 3 spots so just saves me time in the future. I could definitely do a video on the amps and where to wore things too. Nice thing with the Auxbeam is they have built in fuses and a breaker so if you mess anything up it will either shut down the power to the box or worse case blow a fuse in the box instead of letting anything happen to the truck.
@CanadianCruisin Sick! I personally got a Rough Country light controller for my Frontier and had to do a lot of digging before I plugged anything into the light controller. 😅 Love your channel! Just throwing it out there as a future video idea for us newbies.. lol.
@canadian Cruisin I absolutely love your build and am looking to build a frontier in the near future to go Overlanding, if you don’t find could you give me a rough estimate of your build doesn’t need to be exact just a rough estimate like 50-60k
GREAT video! So I always keep my lights in the Auto mode and I only want the grille lights to come on with the headlights, so would the fuse box spot you chose allow this option? What gauge is the ground wire so I can properly ground to the bolt mentioned? Thank you!
If its in auto mode they will come on with the headlights where I have my tapped in. I'm not sure on the gauge of the wire but it's very small so I'd find the smallest connector you can find.
@@CanadianCruisin, Understood. Just for clarity if in "Auto" mode during the day and the headlights are obviously not on the grille lights won't come on with the headlights until dusk or when the sensors turn the headlights on?
@kb4990 I put 2 10amps in the add a fuse which powers the Auxbeam backlight and now the raptor lights. Then the rest of the lights are plugged into the auxbeam itself which has separate fuses for those lights
The small red wire is the positive for the raptor lights. I wired it into the same fuse as my switch panel which is the thicker red wire. If you have just the lights it will just be the small red wire.
@melquiadesramirez8935 yes. The only wire needed for the raptor lights is the small one. The rest is just other extras I already had installed on my truck.
I’m no electrician asking because I read it on another site is it safe to ground to that box I heard it’s part of the computer have u had any issues? Thanks I worry!
I havent had any issues. Its bolted to the truck itself so if something blew enough to cause issues with the computer the truck would be dead regardless
has anyone had issues with one of the lights not working and randomly going out bought them and it just randomly goes out even though its tight screwed on and shrink wrapped
@CanadianCruisin just the "c" one and yeah im jiggling it now and it randolmy dims and goes out or brighter i think the wire on the light side is damaged

Very helpful video. Well done. The best one I have viewed for this light install
Thanks for making this video. It made the install very easy. It took longer to hide the wires then anything else.
Worth the time to make it look good though. Glad it helped
Thanks for the video. Install took no time at all and looks great!
No problem. I'm glad it helped.
Thanks, hate doing any electric DIY, this was extremely helpful! Appreciate it!
Great detail on the light installation. Going to pickup a set for my 20203 Pro-4X. Thank you.
Very easy install after watching your video. 👍🏽

why does it come with 2 fuses?
They're different sizes so you have options to plug them in.

Curious if these work for a 2021 titan pro4x
They're molded to fit the grill on the Frontier so probably not.
Will these work on the titan
As long as you can get them to stick somewhere they can work on any vehicle.
NO
has anyone had issues with one of the lights not working and randomly going out bought them and it just randomly goes out even though its tight screwed on and shrink wrapped
Just one or the entire thing going on and off. If it's just one then most likely a bad connection or possibly a faulty light

@taylergarcia-anaya8041 yeah something is loose in there.
I’ve had my set for a couple weeks and they sent me a broken fuse tap
Please contact the company on Amazon.
What brand please
There is the Amazon link in the description.

My pro4x is not like yours...right behind the grill is this mechinism, something that yours is missing..so its not really helpful for every frontier
