@@moseswong1231 The only Pokemon that can really reliably set up Aurora Veil is Alolan Vulpix (due to Snow Warning), and even with the defensive buffs, will probably not survive a super effective (hint: Fighting and Steel are extremely common attacking types) attack after Stealth Rock damage, with the Aurora Veil itself being easily stalled out soon after. That said, defensive typing alone doesn't necessarily render Pokemon useless if the Pokemon's other attributes make up for it. Volcarona is a very prime example, as despite having very many weaknesses as well losing 50% HP to Stealth Rock, it's offensive prowess is quite terifying owing to a combination of great movepool, offensive typing, and stats in the right places. There are few Ice type Pokemon that are sufficiently threatening or bulky that the defensive drawbacks of having an Ice typing are mitigated, and Auroral Veil does not change that. Even the offensive presence of the Ice type has dwindled somewhat due to Fairy types being a thing for dragon slaying duties. Mamoswine is probably the standout one among Ice Types due to it's strong offense alongside priority Ice Shard and enough bulk (and Thick Fat ability) to mitigate the type disadvantages. Shell Smash Cloyster can be quite the terrifying offensive threat as well. Neither of these Pokemon require Aurora Veil to be effective.
@chaos0205 Provably the only thing I woyld change is make Ice resist Fairy, and make it auper-effective against Fairy. I'd like to see Cloyster. I dunno if it's competitively good but it's a fun pick.
I'd love to see Kangaskhan some day, she's been my number one fave since the start, even if she wasn't OP like she is nowadays with her mega.
