Nice flight report! The A380 is a great aircraft and a usually more comfortable than the B747 in my experience. The added humidity (in comparison with the 747) usually looks after my nasal passages far better. :)
whenever I watch the BA safety video, I start singing "weeee've lost your bags. weeee've lost your bags. lalalalalala" in time ith the music. Dammit Hugh Dennis
Loved your flight report! I'm taking the BA380 flight to MIA in two weeks. Also invested in the overpriced seat reservation to get a seat on the upper deck. Could already experience the upper deck on AF and loved it.
I sat on the upper deck from LHR-SFO and it helped with jetlag. I will be flying on the AF A380 from SFO-CDG and CDG-SFO and hope to get an upper deck window.
Thanks, mate! Stunning window and wing view! I'm gonna book my flights to LA for the summer next month on BA283. I'm gonna choose 78A. I've subscribed to your channel, by the way! 😊
God bless you ! As a former Flight Attendant, I just can’t fly 3rd class. After working in the Sky all those years and having our own space, not to mention we always flew First Class on our time off. I can’t and won’t do it. Even here in the US. I fly first on a commuter jets. I think it’s a phobia of not being in control being packed in like animals. You see, they show us what the public don’t see after accidents and it’s really bad. So we tend to want to be right at an exit with space and the first to open it.....
Sehr gutes Video (mal wieder) :)!!!!!!!! Ich finde das ist dein bestes Video weil es z.B keine "Geräuschpatzer" hat wie z.B auf den TK Flügen! Hoffe das das so bleibt :`)
Another excellent TR...BA was the very first airline I flew with to LA...and check this out...on a brand new B747.400 with bulkhead screens and no PTVs...2 movies, Batman and When Harry met Sally. back in the day I was making 2 flights per year...I changed airliners to Virgin Atlantic the following year (Still bulkhead screens) then year 3 we had PTVs suddenly 10 and a half hours seemed a easy flight in economy. BTW your Qantas TR is one of my all time favourites...I defended you choice of music in a comment👍.
+19bootsy68 I remember your comment on the Qantas video! The routing back then was once in a lifetime.. // Seems like you and many others from the core group of flyers switched from EK to QR lately btw ;) This looks like a real trend. I've seen hardly any new trip reports featuring Emirates recently.
+GermanSpottingHD Yes...currently QR seem to offer cheaper fares. Homer3152 is obviously the biggest to switch...though he still does fly EK occasionally. My next set of flights are Finnair to Bangkok and Lufthansa to Dallas, I am no longer loyal to any airline now.
Thank you, excellent video, very explanatory and especially in those terms. Sunset, LAX and over 10 hours. Again, Thank you very much, I enjoyed it. jb
I'm off to America in 11 days, do you have any tips for going through customs and managing the jet lag on my flight? Plus I have a connecting flight to California from Seattle! Much appreciated thanks :D
Good video.I enjoy watching them.GermanSpottingHD Just to ask.How big is the A380 When you sit inside? as in length when you walk through, the cabin to the lavatory, etc
Thanks for your comment. One difference is that the side walls are bent outwards on the lower deck, the length of the cabin does not feel different though. The A380 is even shorter than the B748.
I just wondered. Forgive me for sounding naive. How do you get access to the lounges if you are flying Economy. I thought lounge access was provided only for business and first class passengers. Or do you possess a BA membership like Gold, Platinum etc ?
prashanth barath many airports provide lounges that's not connected to any airline meaning that you can pay extra and be aloud to go in there, this might be the same for some airlines.
its okay that your drink spilt. i was in 5th grade and on my way back from DC to sacramento ca and i got a tomato juice and i opened t ansi was either in the middle seat or the aisle and the whole thing like exploded and got everywhere. on the walls where the windows are and all my stuff and my grandparents stuff so yeah.
If I can ask you :) I will be flying with A380 with BA to SanFrancisco and I saw that you visited some lounge... This is free or what? Thank you very much! Your big fan Frantisek!
+František Budinský Hi, strictly spoken you have basically five options to get into this lounge: -have a oneworld status -travel with someone who has a oneworld status and invites you as a guest -fly in business or first class -know some BA staff who invites you -trick yourself into the lounge (not what I did but possible)
Passengers on most Asian carriers these days will NOT let their airlines get away with serving a lunch/snack box. A full hot meal is still the way to go with most Asuan carriers. I know it's a cost-effective way to save for airlines, but passengers will revolt if they encounter such service, they consider it an insult ! Cathay Pacific started copying some European trends by serving a snack box and their passenger ridership fell by as much as 30% on several routes.
+Suryam Sharma He surely is a frequent flyer. After flying an x amount of miles, a passenger gets some benefits. The more you fly, the better the benefits are. In this case, access to a lounge. It can also include priority to board the plane or a better chance to get an upgrade to business.
Wo auch immer sonne ist ist Hurghada Ägypten..probier doch mal Sunexpress Deutschland aus bin selber damit geflogen sehr nett :) Fliege im Februar mit Condor nach Hurghada
May be the roar of the engine is good enough - no need for the porno type music as well. Might make the queue to join the mile high club longer with that music :)
Why are PAX allowed to move in the cabin after push back? WHY WHY WHY. is it ok for people to think what they cant do what they want????? Why are people allowed to break rules?
Annette Moore customer satisfaction is easy to accomondat on foreign flag carriers. The people know about common sense and courteous y.. Over 30 years my foreign pax were a delight from Americans. one flight ,the other F/A refused to open her locked lab door, for a military man in uniform. As a called cockpit and unlocked the lab door I was monitoring, the poor soldier didn't miss much of the F/A who wouldn't help him at all. don't mess w/ karma, or nasty crew like her!😳
he decorated her from head to toe. she could have pointed the crew call button, cold water outlet, passenger manual hand hold, w/ trained cabin crew monitoring and reporting to the captain, and if you are lucky, sky marshals.
GUYS if you ever go on a plane, goo to the toilet,if the tissues provided are in a role , take out some tissue ,DONT rip it and put iit in the toilet while it's still intact with the role and flush....and now just watch the beauty
SuperRookie117 You're most welcome, if you have other questions that you cant find the answer too, look at thr airlines website they should have info on there, if not tweet them :D
for goodness sake! the planes fly as directly as possible but have to stick to airways. due to the projection of the almost spherical planet onto a two dimensional map it looks like a funny route. But if you trace that route on a globe it looks much more sensible. By the way, sometimes it is better for planes to fly within the fast-moving jetstream winds which on that route would be on the return from LAX to LHR. This saves fuel and makes the flight faster and shorter. Even if the route may look a little longer than necessary to get into the best jetstream. It is all planned out before the planes leave the ground.
Why is it that all hot food on commercial airlines resembles dog food? Just seems like they make that little extra effort to make it as unappetizing as possible. How can you eat that stuff?
Beautilful Video.
I am absolutly loving your Flight Report because it almost feels your flying yourself! :)
Totally agree. I love this flight reviews:) keep doing these!
Loved this one of yours. That sunset over Iceland looked AMAZING.
Your flight reports are the best! :)

Nice video British airways all ways very good service thanks
Loved your flight report!
I'm taking the BA380 flight to MIA in two weeks. Also invested in the overpriced seat reservation to get a seat on the upper deck. Could already experience the upper deck on AF and loved it.
If u stayed up until 24 hrs before the flight you can book a seat reservation for free
+James Sinon Didn't want to risk getting some crappy seats
+sushi777300 when flying on an airplane there's no such thing as a crappy seat
+Curtis Stevenson well said. But if it's Ryanair....
Am travelling to Vancouver in May on the 380 after watching your video really looking forward to very helpful thank you
+Tina Flynn Be seated on the right to enjoy the views on icy Greenland! ;)
Heading to SFO on the 380 in 3 weeks, nice trip report!

Aww men it was an emotional video I felt the same way on my first trip to London from L.A, hope you had fun!
At 3:50 with the music 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 brilliant
I sat on the upper deck from LHR-SFO and it helped with jetlag. I will be flying on the AF A380 from SFO-CDG and CDG-SFO and hope to get an upper deck window.
Im wa t to become a flight steward, so I love to watch your videos! I get inspired and I learn a lot of watching them!
+Axel Ek Thanks, so you want to become a flight attendant for EK?
+GermanSpottingHD Yes Emirates would be my dreamjob!
Thanks, mate! Stunning window and wing view! I'm gonna book my flights to LA for the summer next month on BA283. I'm gonna choose 78A. I've subscribed to your channel, by the way! 😊

The 747 reference guide..., if you infold it it has other pages covering all planes in BAs fleet, it's one reference guide for all planes.
So we have to choose the Manu too? Does 10 hours flight makes you bored ?
Very informative. Not like most video of view of the wing out of the window
Thank you, excellent video, very explanatory and especially in those terms. Sunset, LAX and over 10 hours.
Again, Thank you very much, I enjoyed it.

Nicely done thanks for posting...
I rather enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing.

+ImaginationRBLX [] ROBLOX Popular aviator Unfortunately I was not lucky but would be exciting to see!
Okay
Does the initial drink cart typically have bar service? My up coming flight is the first I can actually drink on lol
I subbed as well btw great content!
your taste in music is fucking amazing
I often wonder what happens food, drinks if people don't consume them on a flight i.e disability / swallowing problems etc
What is that song called the final song
Very nice video. Well done
Beautiful video !

Nice your like one of the best av reporters ever 👌👌💺
It really is a beautiful video.
A decade since the A380 entered service?? has it been that long
actually he's only short of a year and few months. started commercial service 2007.
Sorry haven't watched the whole video yet so i don,t know if my question gets answered later but what class was this, was it Economy?
+nils01 yes
Bramb90 ok thanks!
9.58 Nice heart shape :-)
nice video! Was it in premium economy?
It was in Economy, Premium Eco ist not really worth the extra money on BA. :)
+GermanSpottingHD thanks mate :)
its okay that your drink spilt. i was in 5th grade and on my way back from DC to sacramento ca and i got a tomato juice and i opened t ansi was either in the middle seat or the aisle and the whole thing like exploded and got everywhere. on the walls where the windows are and all my stuff and my grandparents stuff so yeah.
Love the video :D
But I always wondered , why do you travel so much ? Job purposes or ?
Was there WiFi
If I can ask you :) I will be flying with A380 with BA to SanFrancisco and I saw that you visited some lounge... This is free or what? Thank you very much! Your big fan Frantisek!
+František Budinský
Hi, strictly spoken you have basically five options to get into this lounge:
-have a oneworld status
-travel with someone who has a oneworld status and invites you as a guest
-fly in business or first class
-know some BA staff who invites you
-trick yourself into the lounge (not what I did but possible)
+GermanSpottingHD Oh thanks for your quick answer! What does it actually mean ,,have a oneworld status" thank you :)
Sehr schönes Video. Ich hoffe, dass ich auch mal A380 fliegen kann.
what seat would you recommend on the A380?
What in your opinion would have made the flight better?
+Curtis Stevenson Good question. Better food and more options on the IFE would have made it better. Not to say it was bad.
+GermanSpottingHD we had ice cream and a chocolate chip cookie, when we went from Heathrow to Vancouver...first class
Whats the song at the end? And great review
Hey, was your 78K back row seat able to recline?
+Tashan Charles Yes, it was able to recline.
Hey, what was your seat number for this flight? :D
+Tashan Charles Hey, my seat number was 78K.
when flying to Hong Kong, I experienced day and night 2 times! it was magnificent. i was just wondering, what was your longest flight?
+Elliot Chen Yeah, such things are absolutely magnificent. :) Not exactly sure about the longest one It was probably IST-GRU.
I travel ADI to EWR 17hours
Air India good flight
rushang joshi 17 hours???? dreamliner? or 777-300ER
mine was dxb-jfk. my flight was supposed to be 14 hours long but an extra hour was needed
Mine was LIS-DXB ~8hours 777-300ER then DXB-HKG ~8hours in a A380-800 new with ICE new IFE installed
How does one mingle their way into the lounge? ;)
you cannot. your boarding pass will be checked.
What time did the flight leave and arrive??
how can you make so many flights in such a sort period?!?!?! btw loved the video keep up with the great work:) :)
Does anyone know the name of the music when the third meal tray was about to be handed out???
+Jay DC
Days are long - Silent Partner
+Jay DC use shazam
Loved this
Many airlines are now only giving sandwiches & snacks on flights less than 3 hours cos there is around 60% waste on prepared meals.
A big LIKE from me :-)
great video
The 380 hasn't been in service since 2005, has it? 2010?
+Love The Lord I believe it first flew in 2005, 2007 started service

Wow...that looks cramped...so sorry you had to fly economy. I would recommend business or first class for your next flight. It's much more enjoyable.
how do u get to travel so much 😨😨😨😨
wow i remember i took QF32 incident before 2010
Nice review
wiil u upload the return flight???
+Lewisthevillan1 Sure, it was on American Airlines 777 though.

+GermanSpottingHD
We'll take it !
We’re did you fly from?
why a dream to fly over Boise?
I have question please can anyone answer.. he was in the economy how he got access to lounge
+Suryam Sharma He surely is a frequent flyer. After flying an x amount of miles, a passenger gets some benefits. The more you fly, the better the benefits are. In this case, access to a lounge. It can also include priority to board the plane or a better chance to get an upgrade to business.
+eddugers90 thank you so much, I was eager to know this :)
I’m gonna fly on British air on january
are u in the upper deck of a380??,
Yes, I was seated on the upper deck. Totally recommendable.
Wo auch immer sonne ist ist Hurghada Ägypten..probier doch mal Sunexpress Deutschland aus bin selber damit geflogen sehr nett :) Fliege im Februar mit Condor nach Hurghada
Airlines (all of the major ones), don't give a hooh-hah about Economy Class passengers and service!!
May be the roar of the engine is good enough - no need for the porno type music as well. Might make the queue to join the mile high club longer with that music :)
I've expierenced a ten hour sunset
Did you have to pay extra to be able to listen to the music/watch movies?
SiMoNe nObLe not normally no. The in flight entertainment system comes with the ticket.
Wow Nice video
nice video :)
a cold snack above a lasagna are you kidding me whoehaha

Why u can go into lounge but u just seat in economy class?
I'd love to know the answer to this question
Your loyalty status with BA can allow you in.
Curtis Stevenson or you can buy access to go to the lounge even if you’re flying economy!
I about lost it on an 8 hour flight... let alone the 10 hour
how long was the flight
about 10 hours
Vanessa Batalla wow... thats very short.
GUYS if you ever go on a plane, goo to the toilet,if the tissues provided are in a role , take out some tissue ,DONT rip it and put iit in the toilet while it's still intact with the role and flush....and now just watch the beauty
Subscribed!! lol
Coke and Heineken!?!? Great report but that was a lot of Italian food to eat :-)
+jaymuller oh yes, it was. ;) Thanks very much.
"Inertial and heavy" heh...Translation: How incredible it is that this thing even gets off the ground.
Do you have Wi fi in economy class?
+SuperRookie117 Wi-fi is standard through the aircraft in long haul flights no matter what class you are :D
Conor Mc Kernan Oh cool :D Thank you for the answer^^ You're my hero. I couldn't find the answer anywhere ;)
SuperRookie117 You're most welcome, if you have other questions that you cant find the answer too, look at thr airlines website they should have info on there, if not tweet them :D
+Conor Mc Kernan BA don't have wifi on any of their planes.
Bradley Maybury What really?
07:48 what route to LA is is this lol? The flat earth route? haha
+biskitz86913 09:26 nevermind lol Bizzare that you would fly North from the UK to get South in the US but hey ho
+biskitz86913 That's normal at the north and the south the World is much smaller. :)

BA is not like this now! It is dire compared to Emirates and Qatar
Ten hour sunset
well that nearly perfect flight ... but what cause it wasn't perfect is the prisoners's incident when before take off
