Of all the inflight reviewers here on RUclips, I think yours are the best. You are friendly, plain and easy talking. Most of all you do not come across as being obnoxious or entitled. Safe travels. Neil
Honestly: These are the best trip report videos out there. Absolutely amazing & fresh that you're guiding us through your trip with the off-commentaries....really fun to watch!
I also travelled on the A380 BA 283 flight Economy Class from LHR to Lax on 28th January 2016 and had a similar stunning experience, Daniel......awesome bird and great service from the cabin and flight deck crew.....and took a photo in the left seat of the cockpit on my way back from Lax!
Nice video! I flew an A380 last February 28-March 1 2015 BA216 IAD-LHR and March 7 BA217 LHR-IAD. A quick note about your connecting flight/delay comment: Missed connections are good when you get a good replacement seat, but BA216 was delayed and my group missed our LHR-DUB connection. I ended up getting the last row of the BA A319 and I had a "window" seat with no window (It was my own fault but I won't bore you with why) About the A380: Both BA216 and 217 were very enjoyable. I didn't get a window seat on 216 but I did get 39K on 217, very nice. I actually have a video on my page from the takeoff. Food was great, entertainment was great.
I love British airways. I've taken their 747's on your same route in Business class. great attendants, comfortable seats. Looking forward to flying on the aibrubs A380 the next time. Great review! Thanks!
God willing I'll be flying from Windhoek,Namibia through Johannesburg,South Africa to London with my final destination Los Angeles(LAX). It will be only my third flight ever and the longest as well. A bit nervous I must say. And yes I'm flying Economy with British Airways. This video really looks cool.
For the card thing. as I'm a British Airways flyer and I fly with them. The card is about food poisoning, as we all know 'airline food is bad and what the deal with it'. The crew has to look at the food, mainly Economy. The food from LHR is put into a NON COLD TRUCK. The British Air is mixed with all the other air, so that's why.
this was really helpful. I'm travelling on this flight this december from london to LAX. :D My first international travel and I had my doubts about the journey ... but it looks good :)
With BA, I've been on their 777 and 747 (BA199 was the 777 and BA136 was the 747, on a trip from London Heathrow (LHR) to Mumbai Chattrapatti Shivaji International Airport (BOM) and back).
Me and my sister are flying London Heathrow to San Francisco on September 3rd aboard an A380 so I hope our flight is as nice as yours. Thanks for the video.
I flew from London to Phoenix on a BA 747-400 and it was comfortable and service was great. The plane is huge and has a lot of landing gear and long travel suspension, so it landed pillow soft. I wonder how smoothly an A380 lands. Probably even smoother. Nice review by the way!
That label was self explanetory its for if the food hasnt been stored or kept at the right temperature it will change colors and like it said tell the crew not to serve the food
Hi, I was watching your video and well was awesome ! And I heard that the flight attended thought that you were a member of my favorite band McBusted and yes! Currently you look like Tom Fletcher 😃😃 That was fun haha
Great and informative video, I am flying from LAX to London Heathrow on BA A380 in October in economy as well and I was wondering how comfortable it would be for such a long flight.
Great video thanks for sharing! Flying with BA in less than a month :) Last time I flew long haul with BA was in 2009 and we got a little amenity kit! It's a pity they got rid of it but atleast you still get the toothbrush!!!!
This video uploaded in You Tube is very helpful....million thanks.......We love British Airways. Recently heard in BBC news that there will be expansion on Heathrow Airport for more planes runway.....I wish all success. Long Live Great Britain Airways
I flew on this very flight 12 months ago in February 2015 the day after valentine's day which was Sunday 15th February 2015 and it was my very first time on the A380 i stayed in LA with my mother who traveled with me for a 7 day vacation and for the A380 flight home on February 22nd 2015 i flew on the BA282 flight and that too was also a lot of fun to travel on. Great Video im glad you got to see Ellie Goulding at the baggage reclaim hall after the flight. Which flight did you fly home on? the BA268? or the BA282?
Thanks for this, great video. We're planning a trip to the States next year and this is good evidence for me to present to the Mrs that going to Heathrow and getting a BA a380 is worth the extra expense!
GREAT video and review as always. Do you have a review or know of a reliable review of this same flight only in Business Class? Thanks again for your great videos.
Nice to hear a good report about BA economy. BA was always one of my first choices for long haul but I'd heard it had gone downhill. How busy was the A380 ?
I took a similar journey yesterday from SFO to LHX on the A380 upper deck rear economy. Relatively comfortable but the side lockers get stuck and have to be bashed to open. Also experienced turbelance with weird lateral shaking. I fly quite a lot and never experienced anything similar. I wonder if it is specific to location on plane? It was extremely disconcerting.
Nice vid, I flew a BA A380 London - San Francisco a month ago, it was very comfortable compared to any other plane I've flown. Btw Dantorp are you swedish ?
+GeminiJets15 I know what type of plane I was on, I can certainly tell the difference between an A380 and any other plane. Also my seat was on the upper deck in the rear of the plane, wich of course would be impossible on any other large jet.
Hello, well it must be good for you to travel to so many places. we are planning to go to Seychelles , hopefully by November, as my ex-wife comes from Seychelles. B.A. do not go to Seychelles; so I hope to go via Etihad airways on A380 to Abu Dhabi then change to an A320 for the final part of the trip. Anyway if you have never been to Seychelles I can give you details of two very important passengers; which were Prince William and his wife for their honeymoon and they went to a private island of Seychelles. islands in the Indian Ocean , where the average temperature is 25 degrees Celsius throughout the year
Awesome video and it was really helpful too. But sad that BA does not fly it's A380 to India atleast from Delhi, Mumbai. Even New York is not served by BA's A380
I went in World Traveller Plus from La to Lhr, and it was a very bad flight because the flight stewardess and stewards were horrible! You have to be in Business nowadays for you to get nice flight stewardess!
If I visit my cousin in LA this video will influence my decision about how to choose a flight class and airline. Will they give me a visa because I need one?
I have a question : when you are sitting beside the window in economy class, if you want to go to the toilet, is there enough space to pass without disturbing other passengers who sit beside you? what about the time that front passenger seat is lying?
het was weer een super mooie video,je hebt een mooie hobby,ik moet eerst even de staatsloterij winnen,en dan ga ik dit ook doen, vliegend de wereld verkennen,je leeft maar een keer.geniet daarvan.
Hi Dan, I've just found your channel today and Instagram so subscribed to both! I'm Mixed Fleet crew for BA. The smart label which is on your tray the crew should have removed before they served you, but it's nothing to worry about! The labels are in all the catering trolleys, and shows the crew if the food is OK to serve to passengers, the little tab of the end has a colour of it, it should be pink, if it starts to change colour and match the colour at the sides of the tab then the food has started to get warm and something is wrong with the refrigeration on board. If that happens then the food wouldn't be able to be served and would have to be replaced. Keep up the good work your channel seems to be really taking off with all your videos and interviews with airline directors. Hopefully you will do one with the new BA directors. Philip.

I'm flying to Los Angeles on the same aircraft tomorrow. We booked the seats and then realised that I've go the same exact seat on the exact aircraft!
Wow
@Aspire Tenacity Gaming fr
Ellie Golding on your flight... Wow even better flight then...
ARVIN Agreed. She's really pretty too. Love her voice.
She's retired from singing tho :(. Now a model for Pantene shampoo.
ARVIN Where?

I like how you dedicated the last 5 seconds to Ellie Goulding haha
I love British airways. I've taken their 747's on your same route in Business class. great attendants, comfortable seats. Looking forward to flying on the aibrubs A380 the next time. Great review! Thanks!
Airbus*
TOTALLY AGREED. :D
Do you work for BA? ;)
Travelling to LA on the A380 next year, gave me a good insight to what I might expect, despite me sitting in upper deck. Great video!
This was such a great video... And its also kinna cool you met her.... 😉
How was it
Might be going this year with BA from Newcastle. Very good to know what to expect
I like every bit of what you said in your presentation. Your flight is amazing. :-)

Excellent review. The commentary is so positive and informative. Well done.
i really liked the video. lol i was gonna subscribe but then i realized that i was already subscribed.
You were on G-XLEG (or Leggie, as I know her). She flew me comfortably and safely back from LAX to LHR last year. She's a beautiful lady.
Good Information and very well edited! Great!
Great review! Best yet!!!

Hi, I was watching your video and well was awesome ! And I heard that the flight attended thought that you were a member of my favorite band McBusted and yes! Currently you look like Tom Fletcher 😃😃 That was fun haha
I really liked the flight map on the large airplane from London to Los Angeles.
Great and informative video, I am flying from LAX to London Heathrow on BA A380 in October in economy as well and I was wondering how comfortable it would be for such a long flight.

This video uploaded in You Tube is very helpful....million thanks.......We love British Airways. Recently heard in BBC news that there will be expansion on Heathrow Airport for more planes runway.....I wish all success. Long Live Great Britain Airways

Very nice review!!!
Thanks for this, great video. We're planning a trip to the States next year and this is good evidence for me to present to the Mrs that going to Heathrow and getting a BA a380 is worth the extra expense!
My favorite jetliners are the Concorde, DC10, 787 Dreamliner, and airbus a380.
Haha I think that airport you passed over was KSBD which is like 3 miles from my house, I always get aeroplanes over my house as they head to la
Great video! I flew with the BA A380 to Washington DC and I really enjoyed it! Great aircraft!! ;-)
GREAT video and review as always. Do you have a review or know of a reliable review of this same flight only in Business Class? Thanks again for your great videos.
great video. thanks for sharing..
Great report! Only two meal services on a 10+ hr flight is a bit disappointing though.
We thought you forgot to say who was on your flight at the end! Lol great video 👍🏻
Fantastic Video
Nice to hear a good report about BA economy. BA was always one of my first choices for long haul but I'd heard it had gone downhill. How busy was the A380 ?

Nice Video bud, hopefully doing a long haul next year. BA looks like a very good option to fly with.
Awesome review👌
How do you edit your videos? Keep up the good work, awesome vids! :)
Hey you should fly from Newark to Aruba! You get a great split winglet takeoff and the pilot give you a tour!!
I have just seen this video. You just (well many months ago) met one of my celebrity idols! Amazing lady. Almost as amazing as you, but not quite ;)
Good review
Sams route for me this sunday! :)
Ah, the A380, aka, the Flying Whale. Someday, hopefully I'll get to fly on one of those.
That food spoil information sheet is for the caterers and crew. It should of been taken off before giving to you :)
Great video, thanks a lot, i will be flying to Singapore with BA's A380 :D
Nice vid, I flew a BA A380 London - San Francisco a month ago, it was very comfortable compared to any other plane I've flown. Btw Dantorp are you swedish ?
Except that BA only use a 747-400 to SanFrancisco so you weren't on an A380 so yeah look at their aircraft routes
+GeminiJets15 I know what type of plane I was on, I can certainly tell the difference between an A380 and any other plane. Also my seat was on the upper deck in the rear of the plane, wich of course would be impossible on any other large jet.
+whateverpbk BA must have changed their airplane routes...
Great Review : )
What camera do you use?
Dantorp Aviation Ellie Goulding and the Airbus A380 are a great match. I guess she's still falling for you.
As far as I remember, the highland mineral water is from the lovely Scottish Highlands, isn't it? I still remember that since 1982 ,
Yes.
Do you have any airline statuses especially with all the flying you do?
Love it, love it, love it!

I see this earlier video you had a different microphone?
I flew LHR-LAX a couple of years ago and we got no afternoon Tea let alone a Scone.
Awesome video and it was really helpful too. But sad that BA does not fly it's A380 to India atleast from Delhi, Mumbai. Even New York is not served by BA's A380
Can't wait to fly the A380! :D
Great video you should be a documentary maker.
Remembering when his channel was called dantrop not nonstop dan
I went in World Traveller Plus from La to Lhr, and it was a very bad flight because the flight stewardess and stewards were horrible! You have to be in Business nowadays for you to get nice flight stewardess!

what is the background music at the beginning of the video?
I have a question :
when you are sitting beside the window in economy class, if you want to go to the toilet, is there enough space to pass without disturbing other passengers who sit beside you?
what about the time that front passenger seat is lying?
very nice
Do all A380’s in economy class have IFE boxes underneath the seat with all airlines?
het was weer een super mooie video,je hebt een mooie hobby,ik moet eerst even de staatsloterij winnen,en dan ga ik dit ook doen, vliegend de wereld verkennen,je leeft maar een keer.geniet daarvan.
Great video! 😊 just a question, who was the pop star ⭐️ onboard?
Ellie Golding!!
Rkaua Alrobaie Thank you!

Nice! British Airways seems very interesting choice.
What is the background music called?
Im flying to new york in a few weeks with british airways but they only use there 747s so im sadly not going to be testing this beautiful maschine 🙈
*machine 🤦♂️

I srs was on this flight after connecting from LBA
Wow British Airways
