I knew someone who had one of these with the optional 318. It absolutely enhanced that car's elegant good looks. It goes without saying that to find one today is quite a feat, 8 or slant 6.
Love seeing a Plymouth Valiant so well cared for in the Netherlands. They sold a few in Europe back then. I think this one is an American import since the speedometer is in miles.

Lindo carro! Aqui no Brasil eles foram produzidos até 1981!
I had a 75 Swinger 225 that would not stay running when it was raining. Replaced the whole ignition system still did it..

Are you sure? I thought I saw the speedometer in km/h, kilometres/hr.
@@jasoncarpp7742 you're right, it is in kilometres. So probably locally bought new.
@@hlk5887 Probably. Since I'm not from the Netherlands, or anywhere in Europe, I don't know exactly what cars are like there.
Great car at the end of the day.
one of the best non luxury US cars of the time - maybe the best.
I did get to drive a 1975 Dodge Dart. There was no Valient.
Hard to beat a dart valiant with a slant six.
