I know this is the final boss but f*ck this fight The first phase is kinda good but the cackletta ghost really pisses me off. Not only do you start off with 1 hp for each bro, but if you die, you gotta go back to the bowletta fight, not to mention, she loves to heal herself. Most of her attacks are a pain in the ass to dodge, like the time freeze attack where you don't know when she'll freeze time, and that attack of her moving her hands, and she's so damn fast.
the biggest flex for me is i beat her 10 times in the original one and 7 times in the Remake and i beat the game 4 times, 3 times in the original and one time in the Remake btw the fight is easy if you know the moves
Now i think about it, mario and luigi were the 1st ones to enter bowser's body way before bowser's inside story was a thing even tho it was for the final battle
Easiest Final Boss in the series imo, Mush Badges are way too OP, and I outsped so I healed first thing, also, both versions of Chopper Bros. and Adv. Knockback Bros. Are too OP
7:49 i dont see why people have so much trouble with the time freeze attack when the laser hitbox is that generously small. It looks like as long as youre airborne at ALL, you'll dodge the ground-hitting laser
Imagine Cackletta’s Soul in MUGEN. To whoever does this, please add her new move found in the 3DS version (just in GBA form edited for MUGEN) where she does “ZA WARUDO!” and fires a laser at you. Hitting her other body parts won’t damage her but doing combos on the heart will. Just beware of regenerating HP and body parts. I want Mario & Luigi bosses in MUGEN.

I love how the Mario & Luigi series actually has some terrifying bosses that are extremely difficult to beat. Especially in the early games.
Props for defeating Cackletta without spamming the Mush Badge + Chopper Bros strat
I dare ANYBODY to fight Cackletta without Bros attacks, without items, and with 1HP. Just Jumps👞 and Hammers🔨 and hands🔥⚡️

i did the fight without damage before but not without bros attacks. I think that part is much more tedious than challenging

The eye lasers are easy to dodge if you pay attention to if the left and right eyes either looks up or down.
Well, they fix the "going back to fighting Bowletta" in the remake, so there's a silver lining there.
I've been stuck on this battle for six years, only gotten as far as the time-freezing.

That Za Warudo thing was in the original (you can see it at 7:41). The sound broke for that attack on my copy, and I thought it was a fake crash!
