I love this Siser HTV wayyyyy more than the pearl holographic one you used the other day! I need 😫 to invest in this HTV I just started Sublimating 6 months ago!
OMG I have been trying to find out how to do this for a year. I have never found a video that has helped me as much as you Michael. I thank you. Your always the best. I am so glad your doing other things and doing these videos. I am so very blessed I found you because honestly I have been so frustrated with sublimation that I almost have given up. This is like amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You just don't know how much I appreciate you..
This isn't real sublimation, that is, the dye is not bonded to the fabric. It's just an image transferred to HTV as a work around for applying to cotton/dark colors.
@@jacobus57 yes ma'am I am aware. I just have been looking for this particular process for a while because of the cotton and dark colors without having to bleach them.
@@christinahaney5585 look at Siser EasySub. It is still HTV but it's designed for direct sub printing and applies at 311f. It isn't a two step kludge and you aren't overcooking the HTV. I don't yet sub, but this is the process I would use for cotton.
This is freaking dope as hell! I've been looking for a way to do my RUclips logo that you see to the left with palm trees and that South Beach color way. Thanks bro! Will be getting my printing gear soon to start creating these!
This is exactly what I want to do psychic Michael! I was thinking about this before I went to sleep and when I woke up this video was the first thing that I saw! Looking forward to trying this. Thank you 🙏🏻
I personally like the glitter look but not everyone does, so I'm thinking about trying the Siser Easy Subli. I'm sure you've done this somewhere before, but it would be cool if you did a demo on how to use the easy subli without a sawgrass printer. I have an Epson as I'm sure most folks do.
Thanks for the video. I recently had a TBI and am getting into crafty (sublimation and cricut for shirts) as a way to help me with my recovery. A lady in a facebook group recommended I check out some of your videos after I had some questions about HTV and sublimation. Since I am very new to this, you used parchment paper, then butcher paper, as well as teflon paper. Can you share the reasoning behind each? Looking forward to more videos and following you.
This was so cool:) I also watched the other one done on the holograpic. I have a question, how do these hold up when washing because the sublimation is on htv? Thanks Michael! Love love love watching your videos:)
Just love watching all of what you do. Just amazes me all the materials and the ways they can be used. I just love trying new things and you are the one to watch!
I want to do a black shirt that has both sublimation UNDER HTV but also has HTV lettering by itself that is close to the sublimated design. Not sure what order to do it since the temps are different for sublimation vs HTV. The HTV is pretty close to the design I need to sublimated OVER the HTV
I love it. I caught the replay. I love your live videos they are so awesome. Have you ever DIY board game life or monopoly on wood. I think that will make a great video to do 🥹👍🏽
O.K. so could you upload it as an svg and a png. Cut the png out from the htv glitter vinyl and then put the png sublimation file into something like silhouette studio and print that out so that you don't have to stick to the smaller size?
I mean cut the svg out of the glitter htv vinyl and then trasport the png into silhouette studio so as not to have to keep to the print then cut size restrains?
That was awesome! Thank you for all of your great videos! I just splurged and bought everything for sublimation and a tumbler press! Keep the great videos coming! They are all so helpful and your energy gives me the courage to try new things!
anytime I've used HTV the paper sticks to it and leaves the paper that has to be scrubbed off. also the glue from the HTV melts and the HTV pulls up what am I doing wrong> 400 @ 60 sec which has been the paper recommendations I've tried several different ones
Siser Easy Sub seems like a much better option, given you print directly to the medium and it applies within the regular HTV temperature range. It's still HTV, but it isn't a two step kludge and it doesn't involve overheating the vinyl to affect the transfer. I've never used it, but it looks like a promising option for cotton.
360c for 25s isnt really overheating HTV Cricut easy press is garbage and about 30-40 degrees off at minimum, 60s seems a bit long as my heat press does sub transfer in 25s
Hello Michael! Newbie here and so glad I joined. Have learned so much. Question - should we let sublimation print dry before pressing? Or ok to press away right away? :)
I am new to sublimation. Still waiting for my printer even🤣. Are the sublimation files on crafty already transparent? That seems to be a necessary feature for sublimation.
You are not confused; you are correct. I posted on this thread with a bunch of questions about the process. The title is very misleading for those who don't know how sub works.
I have a question for you..I'm using a-sub 125g on a white vinyl but the image isn't vibrant. I tried 350 for 30sec all the way up to 390 for 50sec but the image is still dull. Is it the sub paper or the ink? Normal sub on poly shirts are great looking but on a vinyl, it becomes really dull. Help pls.
love to learn this sublimation process! have already re watch several times. I'm new to this process and wanting to learn more. planning to buy Epson ECO tank ET 2850. please tell me more supplies needed. DO I NEED Siser Glitter and SUBLIMATION PAPER? THANKS
I’m part of the re-run crew lol. That video was flipping amazing. Keep up the awesome content. 👍🏻
Thanks for the tutorial I’ve had my cricut for 6 months but your video is the only one I could find that made it easy
I love this Siser HTV wayyyyy more than the pearl holographic one you used the other day! I need 😫 to invest in this HTV I just started Sublimating 6 months ago!
I never knew you could mix sublimation with glitter! AMAAAAAAZING!!!
I use the same technique. but the way you explain it gives me a nice boost of motivation to improve my work. A big thank you !
Omg!! I LOVE it!! Thank you for doing the tutorial! So tired of hunting down all white poly garments. You’re the best!!
I agree with you. I was so over it. Thanks again Mr. Crafty - Michael.
Watching the replay. I just received my order from 143 vinyl. Now, I have to place another order. I must, right? Lol!
Thank you! I now learned another way to use my cricut and sublimation together :)
That's so pretty the way the glitter infused if u will with the sublimation....totally guna try this yet with a different sublimation picture.
Great video. I have tried this method, it works amazing!
This is so amazing! I am so excited that I found you and I’m ready to try this method. I’ve only been subbing for a week.
I love how you explain stuff step-by-step not assuming that we already know thanks so much
Love this,
Thank you for doing the tutorial. I love colored shirts.
Thank you so much for this lesson! My kid is allergic to polyester but has been wanting a sublimation shirt. Now I can make them one
I am in TOTAL AWE!!!!

THIS WAS AMAZING. WOW!!! Thank you for sharing your talents and keeping all of us "CRAFTY." I couldn't resist.
What kind of sublimation paper are you using for the printer? I can't find in your supplies list.
Watching the replay. Thank you for the video.
Perfect timing, I'm new to Sublimation and need all the help I can get😉! This idea is 🔥🔥
Love the design and process. My daughter was born 1980
That’s amazing 🤩 My mind is blown!!!!!!!
Thank you for always teaching me something new!!
I love this channel. I am new to Cricut Thanks.
Michael you are great with all the new 💡
I have an Epson inkjet and the print quality is like laser print and the colors are gorgeous - I print and cut a lot of flowers and get superb results
You've outdone yourself with this one! I CANT WAIT to try this!!!!
Thanks for this great video 💯💯

It really is gorgeous
I have been wondering if I needed to mirror the htv layer, so this was super helpful!

Although he use Sawgrass printer its same as you Epson sub printer. My friend has espon converter sub printer an used eas subli
I love the outcome, im just curious about how it looks after many washes. Please would love an update on that.

That looks gorgeous. I’m going to have to do this. Thanks!
I just watched this like 3 times and tried my own shirt and design, and wow! It's beautiful! Thank you for sharing your talent!
Ist holding up on washing multipletimes?
Looks like new still.
OK. This is FREAKING AWESOME!!!
Michael this is AWESOME!
Just in time!!!! I needed this!
I had NO idea what the "bleed" was...LOL...I always turn it off. Thank you for explaining!
Best video ever. I needed this tutorial thank you.
Can you make more videos using the StarCraft solo??
FABULOUS!!!
Gorgeous!!!

OMG I’m in love making it this weekend!!
Wow! That is awesome! Thanks, Michael and team!
O.K. so could you upload it as an svg and a png. Cut the png out from the htv glitter vinyl and then put the png sublimation file into something like silhouette studio and print that out so that you don't have to stick to the smaller size?
This won’t be permanent then like regular sublimation?
Correct. It is HTV, and HTV that was heated past the recommended time/temp, so possibly compromised.
I absolutely love this! I am an 80’s baby so I might just have to make this! Thank you 😊
That is beautiful, those colors are so vibrant. Great tutorial thanks for sharing with us.
Can you do it on black?
I mean cut the svg out of the glitter htv vinyl and then trasport the png into silhouette studio so as not to have to keep to the print then cut size restrains?
Your videos are so fun to watch and appreciate you doing them for us to learn. Can’t wait to try this with the new hat press too.
how many time we can use teflon sheet ?
Great video!!! Can you also make one for easy subli😊
So was the regular htv? I thought it was printable htv
That was awesome! Thank you for all of your great videos! I just splurged and bought everything for sublimation and a tumbler press! Keep the great videos coming! They are all so helpful and your energy gives me the courage to try new things!
Amazing , thank you so much. I'm off to check my supplies and try this. X
your the best Thank you love it.
Is that HTV just a regular normal HTV that you use?! I love the design bro! great job!
I have an iMac, could you recommend a free or inexpensive program that I could use to print my png files.
Awesome🙋🏻♀️ you make it do easy. Thanks
canthat software usefull in Macbook

Why do you choose photo matte instead of standard paper?
Thank you for the wonderful video.
Tjis looks so awesome thank you
Hello Michael! Newbie here and so glad I joined. Have learned so much. Question - should we let sublimation print dry before pressing? Or ok to press away right away? :)
The Siser glitter can be separated from the carrier while still hot? or does it need to cool down first?
Here is my question though. so will it have the vinyl feeling? That is what I'm trying to get away from with the sublimation. TY
I am new to sublimation. Still waiting for my printer even🤣. Are the sublimation files on crafty already transparent? That seems to be a necessary feature for sublimation.
what is the wash durability?
I love Crap On A T-Shirt!!🤣🤣🤣
I’m confused. With HTV as a base layer, won’t this have the feel of HTV rather than sublimation?
You are not confused; you are correct. I posted on this thread with a bunch of questions about the process. The title is very misleading for those who don't know how sub works.
I was thinking the same
Hi sorry to bother u but wat software do u use?
What is the durability like
Absolutely stunning!!!!!

Thank you Jamie

I love the video! Can you do the same video using the Starcraft Solo and Create software? Please and thank you!
Brilliant tutorial as usual.
There are so many carrier sheet options on Amazon. Which do you use?
Love it!🎉
So can I use siser non glitter HTV ?

I'm gonna go broke watching you LOL. I have to try everything you make
That was awesome! 👍

Lovveedddd this video ❤️
