    This was a great video thank you! I do however have a question. What if you are selling a product that does not have a specific bid ? Or the product is an accessory to services/products that have bids. How do we work around that or submit a bid for that?

    • @FedAccess
      @FedAccess  3 года назад +4

      The typical approach is to team with a company that is submitting a proposal. Your company supplies your product to the offeror. They include your product as part of their proposal to the government.

    How do you prevent a joint venture from becoming a pass-thru?

    • @FedAccess
      @FedAccess  Год назад

      I think the answer to what you're asking is in the Mentor-Protege rules. Typically, companies enter into a Mentor-Protege Agreement and then form a Joint Venture with their Mentor. Also, note that there are lawyers who specialize in government contracting and they know all the ins and outs of how to set up a Joint Venture for a government contract. setting up a joint venture for a government contract is not a DIY thing.

      No, you do not need a lawyer.
      Your state should have a state government website you can go to, fill out a form, and wait for your state to approve you as a corporation (Scorp.)
      I live in Florida, our website is Sunbizz.org.
      You should Google, (your state name) form to become an Scorp.
