Hey Vinnie, it's been a while! Glad to see you still out there enjoying the ride with your infectious enthusiasm 😁 Nothing to do with the subject of this video, but, end of this week, I pick up my new blacked out RE Continental GT in slipstream blue. Still keeping my Classic 350 but fancied something completely different, and just fell in love with the Conti GT after the test ride... Closely followed by a second test ride which was even more fun 😁 Hope your house buying goes well, definitely one of the most stressful things you can do, but what a place to be buying a house! Take care now.
Great to hear from you mate!! Thats awesome youre getting a GT! Such an awesome bike! Yes has been very stressful but will be worth it in the end! Cheers mate
With the 19" wheel, the Hanway is similar to RE's SCRAM 411. Combine that with the cast wheels, I'd use the Hanway more like a scrambler, i.e. a bike to ride mostly on-road, yet is capable of hitting the occasional fire road. As for the house hunting, I've been there and done that. What a PAIN IN THE ASS that was! Between real estate agents and sellers playing games, doing mortgage paperwork, inspections and everything else, buying a home was a PITA; it took me a good year or so before I found my place. One good thing is that the previous owner rode too, so he put a 4' wide steel door between the garage and the downstairs, so I can keep my bikes inside the house! That frees up the garage for my car. Thankfully, between being single and liking where I am, that's one PITA I won't have to do again soon... :)
Yeah mate good point it is more close to a scrambler. And yeah its a tough process for sure but were looking forward to it being over with and having our own place to call home! Thanks for the comment!
Nice one Vinnie great to see you out again this bike is an ok piece of kit cheap and cheerful but hey why not it looks cool and she don't go to bad either . All in all a great little run about you wouldn't go touring on it but as a mess about bike great. Good stuff mate well done .😉👌👍
Yeah mate well said! Would be a harsh little bike for big tours, in saying that I have a customer who purchased one and has done some serious miles with little trouble
Wow I can see the similarities with the Himalayan tho the tank reminds me of the Continental GT with that stripe! I see this more as a cheap & cheerful runaround a Budget bike! Great for nippy rides here & there & for work maybe? I did like the sound of the exhaust with the baffles out! Better then the Himalayan therefore saving more bucks without having to upgrade it! I don’t think RE has anything to worry about tho! Great to see you out there again vin & great video too!👍🏻😎
@@roadblastmedia The Suzuki V Stroms are very underaged bikes. And they’re damn good value for money. They won’t get a prize for the best looking bikes, but they’re basic and very sound bikes. I like them. Cheers.
Hey Vinny. Good to see activity on your channel. Interesting bike, that Hanway. Not in USA as far as I know. Anyway, best wishes to you and Chelsea. Hope things are going your way!👍
Hey mate, I'm in Auckland and there is a second hand almost new g30 on the market for 4000$. I was wondering if your view on this bike changed in the last year or if you would still recommend it? I can't find any other reviews on this bike beside yours so I thought I just reach out. It was always my dream to own a Himalayan but the price on the G30 is tempting. Would you recommend me to buy it or rather spend a bit more for a real royal Enfield? Cheers and keep up the good work 🤙
@@gornyboy the Enfield has a better finish and looks more classic if thats what youre in to. The g30 is a great little bike though its lighter and feels faster than the Himi. $4000 is a good price for a g30 and it uses the same motor as the CFMOTO 300s so its relatively easy to get parts for aswell. Go with what your heart says!
@@upnorthrider They are similar but for bigger boy's Himmy & for the rough stuff Himmy but great for smaller rider's.The Hanway Scrambler's 125-300cc are ok too. Lacks the character of a Royal Enfield.
Reminds me of the new CLX adventure, albeit the CFMOTO is more modern, powerful and “better”. I do love modern classics but if the clx adventure had a tft like this one, it be perfect. Don’t think Hanway exist in Australia but seems like a sick little bike 😂
@@roadblastmedia Uploading a video for later bro.Had a big day I'll need 2days to recover, was abit saw when got home saw ankles & back need to get a lighter helmet.Sleep well tonight 🛏️💤😴 after big day.Like on Tuesday after trip to Palmy for first 800km service needed 2days rest after but getting stronger.

Yeah the CLX is an awesome bike! We have the sport and heriatge in nz but not the adventure currently
Apart from the inspirations from KTM and Himalayan, Hanway G30's engine or engine casing looks similar to a small indian ADV Hero X-Pulse 200.
I didnt notice that mate ill look in to the xpulse cheers for the comment!
Not a bad unbiased review from an Aussie
Haha 🤣 cheers mate! Im a New Zealander but our accents are very similar so I get the mistake
I'm thinking this intense competition between motorcycle manufacturers from China and India will be real good for small capacity bike buyers.
