See the power draw of Starlink when connected to a pure sine wave inverter at 240V AC, contrasting it with the power consumption when injecting a direct 12V DC supply into the system and bypassing the 240V conversion.
Ever wondered if there's a big difference in power efficiency when using different power sources for Starlink? Our quick side-by-side visual test seeks to shed light on whether the traditional 240V AC inverter setup offers a notable advantage over the 12V DC injection method.

Cheers Paul, happy technology hunting.
Hi mate, just the video i needed! The box you put your starlink into to mount up on top- did you make that or buy it? I'm basd in the UK so shipping from that link is a bit much for my liking, would love to know where i could make/buy one over here! Also does it not affect the connection of the starlink looking for power?
We manufacture them here in Australia. Not a cheap venture unfortunately can email me at chris@allterrainaction.com if you want the details. Cheers
Hi. So sorry i am new to starlink. So you can have two separate dishes in the same account? Or do you pay for two services ? Thanks mate
No each DISHY is a subscription.
@@AllTerrainAction Well that sucks 😂 most of us would benefit from having a dishy in each rig and not have to transfer them every time. Thanks for the fast reply. Cheers
Indeed,@@reversingentropy thats why we use bracket you can unlock and swap to use between vehicles or house. Unplugs and click out for easy of transport. Has worked well for us.
