Also, those practices don’t apply to the whole industry. If you buy local produce, those practices are nonexistent.

By local produce I meant small, family-run farms. Yes, there’s a factory located near someone but those products are often shipped away to mass distributors and do not brand themselves as local produce.

Impersonating a nurse is literally illegal. “Nurse” is a protected title in the US. You cannot practice nursing or present yourself as a nurse without a license (that means graduating from a nursing program and passing the N-CLEX). Educating people about health promotion is one of the biggest roles of a nurse.

This tells me that for her being vegan is in fact all about herself and feeling special and important. Caring about animals seems only the means to raise her self importance above other groups of people.
She’s just a creepy fame obsessed narcissist who I think genuinely tricked herself and some of her viewers to actually believe she’s fighting for something moral. There are humane and non cruel ways to kill animals, but vegans ares just like “no let’s let animals overpopulate our world and eat grass cause we’re saviours of this immoral dying planet!” Veganism in the extreme just sounds like a religious plant cult who bow down to a golden soybean. You don’t see people shove diets down your throat more than vegans. They really think they did something too. It’s hard for me to believe people go vegan for much reason other than telling other people to go vegan, and saying it how we’re *supposed* to live which is just full frontal bullshit. Then they get salty and say the world is attacking vegans when they started attacking everyone who wasn’t vegan. Promotional diet culture of any kind SHOULD be oppressed. The only reason someone should question and change their diet is for health reasons. If vegans morally thought animal cruelty was wrong, they would raise that animal and kill it themselves to ensure it had a good upbringing and respectful death, in which no cruelty will occur. Or try and fight mass production and encourage people to buy from family farms where the animals aren’t abused.

Humans have no need to consume corpses if they have access to plant foods (if there literally isn't another option, then it is self-preservation). Choosing to consume corpses or to support other forms of nonhuman animal exploitation when you could choose otherwise is simply about pleasure. Just because you were nice to someone before you killed them doesn't make killing them for your own pleasure humane.
And the "nonhuman animals will overpopulate if we all are vegan" is silly because nonhuman animals are being bred and brought into existence specifically to be exploited. As more humans become vegan, the numbers of other animals being bred for exploitation will decrease. This would eventually get to a low enough number that those individuals left could live on sanctuaries. The land used to exploit and grow feed for the massive number of individuals we humans violate could also mostly be rewilded which would help the individuals of nondomesticated species who have been pushed into smaller and smaller territories to make room for feed production.
Veganism isn't a particular diet, it is about avoiding exploiting other animals "as far as possible and practicable." There are many different ways to eat while vegan, and veganism encompasses more than just diet. Not being vegan means you inflict avoidable violence upon other animals and thus is cruel.

Killing and eating meat so I’m not b12 and iron deficient is necessary for me, maybe not you cause you’ll just take supplements, which you wouldn’t have in a survival setting. Also plants are living things. So why is killing a plant any less bad than killing an animal? You can’t know how much it feels or doesn’t feel. Also what about the pests and rodents that die to keep the produce we buy free of vermin and bugs? It’s hard for me to believe there’s any real way for the world and everyone in it to be 100% vegan. What about other omnivorous animals? Are they meant to ONLY eat plants because they have the option to get nutrients from them unlike their carnivorous peers? If humans weren’t meant to eat meat we’d be herbivores, but we’re not. I absolutely adore animals, I’ve always had pets and lived on a farm when I was little. I also love the ones I eat and appreciate their sacrifice for giving me the nutrients I need. I watched my dad slit the neck of the chicken we’d eat that night. He did it as quick an painlessly as possible, as humane as he could and I helped him gut it after. I don’t know or care if your religious, but I believe in God, and in Genesis 9:3 it reads “every moving thing shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything” and there are many more verses stating humans may eat meat. I’m not some religious nut trying to shove down “WE HAVE TO EAT MEAT CAUSE GOD SAID SO”, no, it’s simply in our nature. It’s not animal abuse to raise a cow in a safe and happy environment, and then ending it’s life quickly and painlessly to sustain and entire families for months to come, and that’s what everyone should do. Either balls up enough to kill and prep your own food or don’t, and then don’t eat it. Veganism is a diet. Plain and simple. I literally could not give any less fucks about people saying it’s not cause you’re wrong simply tying to prove a point that constantly gets missed because of how abrasive the loud vegans are (not all of you, just the loud ones). I will eat meat the entirety of my life, but the second I get the chance to raise my own food again I will do so, and I can guarantee that animal will have a better life and death than it would’ve in the wild.
Edit: side note - ALL VEGANS DO IS SIT BACK AND SAY “well I’m not apart of the problem anymore and you shouldn’t be either” instead of starting a local farm and giving people an actual alternative of healthy grass fed organic meat you know was cared for until it’s last breath.

@@ivanabiki6343 for a long time I felt really bad about not being a "perfect" vegan, like if I would go out to eat and they would put cheese on my salad even though I ordered it without, I'd eat it because I'd feel worse knowing that all of it would just be thrown in the garbage. And I realized that if I felt bad because some vegans told me I wasn't a good enough vegan for something like that, imagine how non-vegans feel when they're told they're terrible people because they eat meat once or twice a week. I wholly believe that veganism/vegetarianism is going to be the normal diet in the future if supply can't keep up with growing demand and our climate continues to go to shit, so it doesn't make sense for me to push people further from it by telling them they're bad people for not being vegan. They'll probably get there, or at least close to there, eventually.

I don’t even call myself vegan because it makes me uncomfortable. I just say I don’t eat meat or dairy. No one bats an eye. If I say I’m vegan, the claws come out. Like you said, it’s a personal choice that makes me feel better (sensitive stomach and doctor approved of my diet change) and aligns with my PERSONAL values. I can’t force anyone else to align with my beliefs and I don’t want to.
I think nowadays most people realise that she is in the minority of vegans who act like this. I've personally only come across this sort of preachy behaviour once in my life from a vegetarian. I've seen it online, but again, they're in the minority. I feel like a lot us try to learn from vegans and also vegetarians to eat better and incorporate more plant-based foods in our diets. I follow a lot of channels on RUclips like that and I follow a lot of Vegan channels, though I'm not vegan myself. This has more to do with her beliefs and personality and she just happens to be a vegan.

Relax, there are clear great vegan representatives out there. Unfortunately the tactical, reasonable people aren't as loudly spoken. My personal two favorites are The Easy Vegan and Unnatural vegan on RUclips (yes I watch and listen to them despite being more on the carnivore side of things - health reasons/medical complications and religious reasons). Those who act appropriately while representing a realistic vegan approach to life have full support.

I think the creepiest thing about her is her age. Not saying old people can’t create content, but just the fact she puts on like this little shy quirky young girl kinda personality like with the Vegan Nurse thing, all nervously fidgeting with her pigtails and talking in soft sweet voice like she’s trying to be some precious cinnamon roll uwu, but she looks like she’s almost 60. It’s really weird and fake feeling.
